You're stuff is always amazing ! Here are some ideas!
1.) Mechanic Area near the jeeps for tune ups, servicing, repairs and fueling.
2.) Office for the head zookeeper that runs the crew.
3.) Mini Koi Pond with Foliage in the middle that can be looked down on from all floors with a glass roof on top.
4.) Area for staff to clock in, get their schedules and cash in their checks/get their paycheck.
5.) Fernlike Plants and Bamboo are common in office buildings. Think plants that dont need lots of natural light.
6.) Maps, Animal/Plant Paintings on the wall.
7.) Distinctive doors or maybe low rock walls to add texture and separation from rooms and area.
    8.) Custom lunch/break room
    9.) Custom bath room
10.) Custom area to prepare treats for animals, the story would be this is an area that the zoo keeper prepares stuff to sell treats to the guests so the guests can feed some of the animals.
11.) A wall of stacked cages like a vets office near your quarantine. You could create a vet section , combined with exam table, surgery, pharmicitual case.
12.) Vault/Bank for the zoo funding, and making change/cashing checks

For the two parts of the bison exhibit, they should be themed by seasons. One side is the spring/summer exhibit where you go crazy on flowers and foliage. The other side is the autumn/winter exhibit where there is snow and orange trees or dead trees

A few tips I learned: Rounding off corners with columns help, angling the glass either like an accordion pattern or in a triangle jutting off the front will help. Asymmetrical wise with columns they can be different heights on major corners of buildings.

Just had an idea for the mega park at the end, what if the whole park was in the shape of the world with animals in their correct locations. Of course, it would have to be a little disproportionate with Africa being bigger and North America smaller. It could be called "Terra" or something like that.

The key to modern design I've found is adding a combination of different materials. As you mentioned the just wood brings a more 80s style, also you could create a lunch room with tables for the big empty space

Something that might be right up your alley regarding stories behind zoos/habitats could be rewilding programs - look into it! It could be the reason why certain animals are in zoos for a breeding program (especially for your Europe zoo) OR the zoo could have bought a sizeable piece of land next to the zoo to 'rewild' with coexisting animals.

You could put benches in the staff room, maybe even a little corner section with benches and plants and use one of the education tv's as an imaginary tv that the staff would watch while on break? You could also put in some trash cans around to add more clutter. Maybe try to make a little coffee table and put some fake magazines on it lol.

Stop putting your skills down BiS! This build is brilliant, as always. Bit different to a zoo backstage area, my work has upstairs designated for the staff lounge & kitchenet, toilets, lockers and a few Admin offices So why not try and add in lockers, loos, benches/sofa's and offices inside? Maybe the head keeper/zoo manager has their office upstairs? Also, Bubba the Bison is speaking to me...
Either way, I am LIVING for this series so far! Keep it up man, you're a machine!

I love the front entrance way - especially that buffalo - did you know you can make it and all those modern light things glow different colors? (I assume you did, thought I'd mention it just I'm case) Speaking of it, you should give it a food related - either burger related or wing related.

Love the idea for a science centre! Another possibility is an environmental/geology centre (see Dynamic Earth for ideas) or even palaeontology (have "fossils" made of rocks - don't need to go nuts with whole skeletons, just a few limb bones embedded in rock, maybe a skull or two).
Another thing I've noticed in some American zoos is an anthropology section, talking about human history & prehistory in the area. Since we have bison, there could be a wee mini-centre for Native American history.

The staff area could have an information room or area containing the conservation signs and TVs about the animals like you did it the Beta zoo in the tortoise house so that they can ‘learn’ about the animals they are taking care of.
Or, you could even make a (fake) relaxing staff room with the waterfall feature you included in the entrance to the zoo so that your workers can relax.

I once worked in a place that was kinda similar. And they actuarlly made a huge forest area right in the middle when you enter through the doors. on both sides of those there where 2 big staircases going up. On the ground floor there was like a info stand and on both sides 2 shops where the staff could eat relax sit and chill. on the second floor you would have 2 hallways both with again forest and even art. this part connected to all the workspace areas of everyone. I really thought it was a amazing building. You could also try to make a glass floor somewhere to make it interesting and maybe a sports area if that is even possible? to keep your staff healthy and fit right XP. And for the floor i would personaly preffer a even darker floor to make stuff really pop like black even. and maybe a much lighter roof color inside. and my last idea for this would be to maybe play with grass/plant walls or stone walls these are really popular in modern buildings nowadays. hope you get some inspiration out of this!

I think if you rotated the viewing area on the bridge it would look a bit nicer because right now the right side (when looking from the zoo entrance) the roof bit of the viewing area matches the roof of the bridge too well and gets cut off by it. If you rotated it the other way nothing gets cut off making the white line from the light pop out more.

I'm loving this a lot, for references on the science area check out Science North in Sudbury Canada. The science centre in Vancouver is a large geodesic dome take a look at that too. I understand what you were saying about doing a single floor bungalow building will be easier and make more sense, but I think a feature "Landmark" style building right at the centre of the park could be quite beautiful and still just have one floor. Science North in Sudbury has the footprint of a snow flake with a small tower in the middle. regarding the name of the White Bison (buffalo) Mascot's name; White Buffalo are considered a sacred animal in Native American spirituality check out the Wikipedia page about it as many famous White Bison's are listed here by name, they all have names like Miracle Moon and Arizona Spirit so I think paying homage to that somehow would be amazing. Personally I like the idea of using the word silver in the name as it references the colour white and spiritual nature, and the mineral itself is highly regarded in Native American Culture for its unique properties so I think it fits really well. In fact something as simple as the name Silver would work really well for a Mascot instead of something with 2 names. I have a lot more to say but this is already a lot.

    I have a spin that includes @Echtaria and @Connor O'Neill 's comments!
Option 1: The first animal the zoo ever got was this 'star' bison, Benny. For whatever reason, he became one of the 'famous' zoo animals that the public loved and consequently he achieved a lot for the conservation of bison. My idea is that he helped push for the rewilding of bison throughout North America and Canada. Due to this, the zoo received lots of funding which allowed them to create the expensive, modern look you are creating. The statue was put up on the 1 year anniversary to celebrate the Benny's role in bison conservation and rewilding. This could also be classified as semi-realistic if you read the Zoopedia entry for American Bison!
Option 2: while I know we only have American Bison, for this you could pretend they are European Bison. "Bison were hunted to the remote corners of Europe and the last wild animals were killed by soldiers and poachers during World War I and the Russian revolution. The last wild bison in Europe died in Poland in 1919, while the last wild bison in the Russian Caucasus died in 1927.
The species only survived thanks to 54 animals that were kept in different zoos, originating from only 12 founder animals. In 1954 the first bison were released back into the wild in the Białowieża forest in Poland, followed by reintroductions in several other countries" (taken from rewildingeurope.com). Benny could have been one of the 54 animals and this zoo could be continuing his work of restoring the species (rewilding) throughout the rest of Europe. I would say this could wait until we get European Bison but I do not think we will ever have both.

I think the bison should be called barbel since (to me at least) a bison made of marbel. Every staff building needs a staff kitchen or food that the staff can get.

I know I’m hella late with this, but I’m pretty sure ground floor fir the first floor is a British English, first floor is level above. American English is all about simplification of the English language. Primarily why Americans almost never use Present Perfect tense & instead use Past Simple; American tend to not use a proper question sentence structure like British English, they simply use a regular sentence with a questioning intonation. Americans also use double negation quite often & drive me bonkers by misspelling “your/you’re”, “then/than”, “their/there”.

That Building is looking really nice. Can't you like download "Fonts" made by players from the Steam Workshop? I think Jonti used one of these for Nuna Kanata, but of course, they aren't real fonts and it is a little trickier to use them but that could be something you like. Love your vids.
