A very nice café racer with creativity taken to another level. Very beautiful work that makes it appear to be an early model but with modern technology. As always, thank you for Racer TV, the Café Racers only choice! Hope all is well with you my friend! Ride safe!
Indeed. I think this is one of those projects that will stay in our memories. Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. Evrything is fine here, and I hope the same from you. Thank you. You too. :) Cheers
It is a true privilege to view your presentations. We are (in Creativity's realm) witnessing engineering innovations at every level. I have been honored to work in engineering and research firms, and can confirm, this channel exemplifies the finest curation of truly pinnacles of STEM arts anywhere... bar none sir. Thank you, RACER TV
@samuelhatman8995 Thank you my Dear friend for all your kind words. I appreciate your support. It’s not easy to always get projects as interesting as this one. But every now and then, I'm lucky enough to find them. :) Cheers
The spoke wheels look great on it ,love seeing bikes built in basements ,garages ,and sheds ! I built mine in a tent ,gotta do what you gotta do .can't beat a vintage yammie
Yes, the Years 80e is comming to live. But al this Years 80 is my Great and Beautiful Beautiful . I have a Beautiful Motor Cycle. A Honda Goldwing 1000 cc. I with my Brothers and Friends have a Fantastic Years. Thank You for Sharing for this Great Video my Friend.
Great video Racer, as always. Roman has done an outstanding job with this XS400, you got to love bikes built in shed etc and that front end look very trick, job well done. Rice safe and take care mate. Cheers
@RacerTV The ending is better, but the tone of the voice goes up and down and sound quite "comical" (Well it made me smile!) !! I'm just a picky English man, who is seriously impressed with your work. The quality of the Bikes you show are MIND BLOWING!!! Your production of the videos, soundtrack, script are the best I've seen ... Anywhere!! Who am I to challenge you?? My comments come with Love & Respect for your work, and you personally for every thing you do! L&R Andrew
@andrewhall836 Looool:) Thank you my Dear friend for all your kind words. I appreciate your support. Interestingly, I thought that this variation in tone of voice, would be the way I would say it in Portuguese. Perhaps the Portuguese language is too friendly when it comes to the tone of voice when saying goodbye. Looool Thank you for your feedback. Next time, I'll try not to overdo the "friendly" factor. :) :) Cheers
One more genius on this channel... the colors of this bike remind me so much of a bike that made me dream so much and that I have only seen in your country: the tzr 50 Merci Victor pour cette vidéo
Hi my Friend. I am not sure, but I think you are probably refering to the Yamaha RZ 50, and not the TZR 50. I say this, because the RZ50 was a very successful "motorizada" in Portugal. Even I dreamed of having one myself. But when I turned 16 years old, my choice ended up being a Honda NSR 50. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Um abraço
Fascinante, qué gran equilibrio de formas y sobre todo esa resolución por bieletas tan sencilla para el viejo problema del hundimiento de la dirección en las frenadas.

Beyond the front suspension, which is a mechanical and aesthetic marvel, what I liked the most was the frame that supports the engine; It is a minimalist piece that makes the engine look as if it were flying, it really catches the eye. Mine at least. Returning to the subject of the front suspension, although I recognize the engineering and manufacturing achievement, for my taste, the introduction of more moving parts simply complicates things especially in the long term and if it has hydraulic or electronic components things can get ugly at the end. fail something I hate sensors, one that fails in the silliest part stops a motorcycle, while you have to seek specialized help. I live in a huge country so I like to simplify things. I can travel 800 kilometers and still be far from a coast or border. I don't object to the style of the bike, it is simply spectacular and looks strong and muscular and is in the highest range of small displacement engines. Yamaha should feel ashamed for something so well done that seems to come straight from a factory. Something that is very important and appreciable to me. I can't help but omit the hidden escape which of course is a major achievement. Gran moto!!!!!!!!
My dear friend, you said it all. I understand your perspective of keeping things simple and reliable. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Saludos
The XS was a lovely bike, and that's a really nice take on it. The frame and general styling throws back to the SRX, and it's nice to see the speed blocks. I really don't like the headlight, though, and I have my doubts as to what's gonna happen with the anti-dive system under a load of heavy braking cycles. Still, experimental, so why the hell not, and it looks really trick. Quality of execution, 9.9/10, which is far better than a lot of factories manage to put out :)
The skills exhibited by such builders is quite impressive. But the anti dive set up looks complicated and adds weight to the front end and I truly wonder if it really offers any benefit over existing systems.
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. I understand your perspective. But I don't think it will be that heavy. But if it works, perhaps carbon fiber could solve the extra weight problem. :) Cheers
It's not too different from mechanical anti-dive devices tested in the late 80s with right-side-up forks and the upper mount near the lower triple clamp. Very interesting.
04:05 - So... As I understand it... The brake rotor naturally spins counter-clockwise (looking at it from this view), so, as braking force is applied, the brake rotor forces the brake caliper upwards and thus forces the mechanism upwards thus forcing the forks back upwards. The more braking force applied, the more force is applied to the forks to resist 'Diving'.... Interesting... A different, and, cool version of 'Anti-dive'. I wonder how it feels in practice compared to the versions I have already experienced on older 1980's/1990's Kawasaki (AVDS)/Honda (TRAC)/Suzuki (ANDF) and Yamaha with theirs? 🤔😏 😎🇬🇧
You described this system perfectly. As you said, over the years several anti-dive systems have been created. But I have no idea why most of them never continued to be produced. :) Cheers
Of course, this bike is very nice, and it looks like it was built using Yamaha R15. If there were alterations made to the swingarm, I think it would improve its appearance.
Sorry, but it won't work. Unfortunately, I am dependent on the success of each of my videos. And so, to attract views, I have to present motorcycle models that are popular around the world. I hope you understand. :) Cheers.
There's no denying that there's been a LOT of effort and everything is really clean. I just don't like the lines. The shrouds from the side of the seat reach too low (just need a little shaving - although you could probably get away with removing altogether) and the rear seat has too much weight. But I love the ingenuity around the anti-dive on the front forks. In principle, it seems pretty similar to the concept of steering dampeners or the Honda ST1100 anti-dive. Clearly, whatever Roman does, he does it to a high standard!
