Swans Down Cake Flour
2 Sticks unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
3 cups sifted Swans Down Cake Flour
4 eggs
1 cup milk
3 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

This is not done right. Always add the eggs after the sugar . Next begin with flour and end with flour don’t put the milk in last.

Hi! I was following the directions on the Swans Down cake flour box it said to put eggs in after the flour. Ordinarily yes you would put eggs first. 😊

I belive at the beginning you mention table spoon of baking soda then later you say teaspoon

April continue to say 3 teaspoons of Baking soda, which should be 3 teaspoon of Baking powder. No baking soda goes in this cake.
