    Dough Ingredients:
    4 1/2 C All-Purpose Flour
    1 1/4 C Lukewarm Milk
    2 Large Room Temp Eggs
    1/3 C Softened Butter
    2 1/2 Tsp Yeast
    1 1/2 Tsp Salt
    1/2 C Sugar
    * For even fluffier cinnamon rolls add 1 Tbsp baking powder
    1. Whip together the butter and eggs until combined. Slowly add the milk while the beater is on.
    2. In a separate bowl add flour, salt, and sugar then stir them until combined.
    3. Add yeast to the buttermilk mixture. Mix. Slowly begin to add the flour. Get your hands in there and get messy.
Tip: Is dough too sticky? Add flour to the surfaces. To your hands. To everything.
    4. Place your ball of dough into a completely dry, greased, bowl. Cover and leave to rise in a warm spot for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
Tip: Leave another 1/3 C of butter to soften.
    The Filling:
    1/3 C Softened Butter
    1 Tsp Vanilla
    1 1/2 C Brown Sugar
3 1/2 Tbs Cinnamon for dark cinnamon flavor. 2 Tbs for lighter.
    1. Combine sugar with cinnamon. Set aside.
    2. Combine vanilla and butter.
    FROSTING:
6 Tbs or 1/2 pack of soft Cream Cheese
1/4 C softened Butter. (Yes, more butter!)
    1 Tsp Vanilla
    1 1/2 C Powdered Sugar
*make sure to add powdered sugar gradually to avoid clumps
    1. Combine.
    Construction:
    1. Roll out your dough on a floured surface until it looks about right. c;
    2. Brush the dough with your vanilla butter mixture until you've used it all up or painted all of the dough.
    3. Smear the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture over your dough next. You can't really mess it up at this point.
    4. Tightly and carefully roll your dough up into a tube. (It's okay if it comes out thinner on one side than the other)
    5. Cut.
    6. Grease a deep baking pan and pack your rolls inside.
Bake at 400 F for 14-18 minutes or until golden brown.
Drown them in your frosting while they're warm.
    and boom done!

Tried your cinnamon rolls with a modification. 1/3 cup honey to the dough and 1 cup of honey to the filling and it was a hit. We don't eat a lot of regular sugar for a health condition which is why we had to substitute! IT WAS A HIT! Thanks

Just a hint, use a scraper to get the dough off your hands and your surfaces. That's going to keep your final product nice and tender, meaning you won't be adding so much extra flour. Also, add a bit of oil to your hands and surface instead of flour to keep them from sticking so much. That's 2 things I've learned from baking bread and pastries over the last 4 years or so. And I've also made your cinny rolls at least twice successfully. Thanks for your great recipe. The first time I made it, I used too much flour to keep it off my hands and they were good, but the oil trick made them just a tad better. 👍🏻😉❤️

Yes! We are living in an
"entitled" society where others feel the need to complain and speak out about the most ridiculous things..as though their panties are in a bunch.
They have nothing better to do..They have no clue how child like they sound, like whiney brats..
Can't imagine those same folks getting by in life without constantly complaining and pointing out trivial nonsense.

Everyone in my family loved them which resulted in the pan almost being gone. The only problem I had was some parts of the rolls were doughy while other parts were cooked. I think next time I’ll cover it half way with aluminum foil to prevent over cooking to make sure all the rolls get done. Overall, such yummy cinnamon rolls. I will definitely be making these again. Great explanations and directions. Down to earth presentation. And, simpatico with your audience. Marvelous!
And, I appreciate the fact that you deferred to your audience, (all of whom don’t have $700 stand mixers, and another couple of hundred dollars worth of baking pans and utensils.)
    Well done!
It’s been a pleasure to watch and listen to this!

A Danish dough hook is great when you are mixing up the dough to the point it is mixed in. Only about $10 and it mixes up real quick. I love using my hands to knead dough. I enjoy the process. Will be trying this recipe. Thank you.

I'm watching your video for the first time, I'm just, at the age of 62, starting to use TH-cam and other internet sites for lots of things. Anyhow, you mentioned that some people get bent out of shape when you use your hands to cook....Do they realize the best foods are prepared with bare hands? How do they think their grandparents cooked? I know my grandma never had any of the gadgets we have now days and I'm still alive and kicking. Just sayin'.........

I just made these for our Christmas breakfast and they were the best I have ever made!!!! A few things I tweaked:
    Used dark brown sugar
Used brown sugar instead of white in dough
Poured some cream over the rolls before putting them in the oven (this creates a gooey, cinnamon sugar caramel at the bottom of the pan)
And made a brown butter cream cheese frosting. (8 oz of brown butter, 10 oz cream cheese tablespoon of vanilla and powdered sugar until it’s the sweetness you desire)
Thank you so much for this recipe!!! It’s amazing!

These are the best cinnamon rolls I ever made. Next time I will leave out 1/2 cup flour out of the mix and add at the end. I used organic white flour and my dough was just a little too dry, dryer than your's looked, not sticky at all, even tho they were so amazing, I think my dough needed just a little less flour. Thanks so much for sharing all your recipes, enjoy watching your video's. Love mexican food!

I just finished the glaze on these, out of this world good. I never (NEVER) leave a negative comment or insult ones method of cooking, I figure lots of people will do this so I just avoid it. You really have to try these, OMG are they good. Tender, just the right amount of cinnamon and brown sugar, the glaze is the BOMB. I did use Mexican Vanilla like her and it most definitely is worth the money. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe, 10 stars Girl. You nailed this one.

My mom & sister always melted plenty of butter to the bottom of the pan to cover it well, then sprinkled enough brown sugar over it to absorb most of the butter, sprinkle with cinnamon if desired, add nuts also if desired. Then when baked & still nice & warm, turn them up side down out of the pan so the bottoms-on-top will be caramelized. Oh so good!
