    Is the magnetic ring not available as a single part instead of a complete new hub?

      It is, but is press fitted to the hub so you can't really replace it at home with hand tools.

    Don't buy an Audi. Unless you have endless money to throw at it. Stick with Japanese automobiles. Less problems, cheap parts, engines and transmissions last forever. Thank me later.

      What applies in America in terms of cost and ease of maintenance doesn't really apply in Europe and vice-versa. Besides, I kinda like the masochistic pleasure that comes with German car ownership :)

      @@MotoringCultureMagazine I can tell you one thing. I absolutely LOVEmy German made tools. Hands down, the best created tools I've ever used. And you are correct. What's imported here in the states is a whole different story. There's a reason not many Volkswagen vehicles are sold here. And it's not because we don't import a lot of them. Have a great day.
