Yes and I then got a battery regulator fault after this. On module 61 Battery Regulator it came back Control Module incorrect code. After much searching around and not finding the correct coding I eventually got the code from an 8PA Audi A3 and recoded the 61 Battery Regulator with F30F185A this was accepted and the Battery Regulator works fine. Without this code the battery was receiving a constant charge of 14.4 Volts which depending on state of charge of AGM battery was either insufficient or if fully charged was ‘frying’ the AGM battery. Now with a Digital Volt Meter constantly monitoring the battery I have seen charge rate at 14.8 volts when battery was heavily discharged, reducing to 14.4 volts when fairly discharged, then charge reducing to 13.1 volts when battery is almost fully charged to a fully charged state giving a reading of 12.8 volts for a fully charged new battery with engine running at 2,500 rpm

Car manufacturers are just taking the p*ss these days. All that effort to get to the plugs. What happened to popping the bonnet, taking off the spark plug leads connected to your dial plugs, unscrewing and replacing the plugs and reconnecting the leads? They make it as hard as possible to get to them to make people go “I’ll get the dealer to change these” and get charged triple the value of the plugs.

The angle is tricky. When I tried to put the new one in, it wasn't easy. I had to get on my back with eye protection and a flashlight to help guide the new one in. The Audi dealer forgot to put back my screws the last time... but I found that I don't need them, as the sliding cover fits into place snugly and the foam cover nestles in tight--this isn't coming off on its own.

ac systemes in cars loose about 5 - 10% gas in a year. When the presure gets to low the ac does not work or is not working good. So it is not always a leak if you are low on gas!

Tip: Use the ignition coil rubber to lift up the old plugs.

A very common problem on Audi, Skoda, VW, Opel and many other german made cars. Due to design issues the biggest problem I have seen is water ingress and secondly dirt ingress. Although not a guaranteed solution this problem can be fixed without fitting a brand new switch and this solution has worked in emergency situations where a replacement switch is not available. 1. Remove the switch as shown in the video. Prise open the top switch cover exposing the eight mechanical switches arms inside. Preferably remove all the eight switch arms and thoroughly clean the switch contacts. No special spays or solvents are generally needed, just a good clean with a rag is needed. Reassemble the switch and 9 times out of 10 it will work. The one touch function may not and not all switches may be not be equally responsive, but you should be able to open and close the windows. 2. If this doesn't work. Remove the screws holding the window driver motor in place. Remove the motor and using a drill with suitable driver bit, close the window. A ratchet and socket or spanner will also suffice making sure a good fit as you do not want the damage the splines on the window driver coupling.

Excellent video. Made the job easy.Here's my input. When you are removing the switch unit with the 4 small tabs insert something like a feeler gauge shim in to where the tabs are. Work on the rear two first and push down on the switch unit then work on the front two. Don't try to do side by side.

Doing rear side them m12 bolts are no joke tried everything are the bolts threaded through hub and wheel bearing or do they slide through the hub and thread just into the bearing ?

No working for me A3 8V 2013. Because it says „out of range” if you want to disable just buy module on Ali. 5 min work and there is no worry about battery degradation because of coding this out.

German word for AGM technology is "Fleece", "Binary - AGM" is close but not quite right, it describes some new coiled cell AGM battery technology. If you don't have a 3 letter code for the manufacturer, just write "UNK" for unknown. Serial number should be different, any 10 digit word is ok as long is different from the old one, in order for the "car to know" that is a new (or different) battery and relearn his characteristics, you can write in the calendar date instead.

Hello. I Have 2002 Audi a4 b6 with audi symphony 2din radio. I connected everything the right way, it connects to my phone but does not play in the car. In the video I see that it says CDC in your radio, on mine it only says CD 1 or CD 2 and etc. Is there a fix?

Doe it work with the A3 Etron? My motor shuts off and swiches to EV every time I let go of my pedal. As soon as I touch it again the engine kicks back on. Its really annoying while driving.
