I like the idea that these worlds that Banjo and Kazooie travel in mods like this belong to the offscreen world of Banjo-Kazooie and show us what the two of them are currently up to until the next big adventure begins.
This is probably the First Banjo-Kazooie mod i downloaded and played back in the day. Nice one! i hope the creator will indeed continue this project in the future. The atmosphere of the level is so nice!
It's nice to see some 'easy' level designs coming out these days. A lot of Banjo maps can be quite complex or full of death traps. Sometimes simple is refreshing! Though some of the areas could be condensed a bit. Gonna give it a play either way.
@@kirbytooie64 I mean from the Tooie engine itself. As I understand it, it's very difficult to do so at the moment because tools are very limited, but I keep hoping someone will make a breakthrough. Thanks for sharing your mod though! I love seeing what new things people come up with!
@@Kurko_Games Before 2015. I played it for the first time shortly after it was released when I was 11, so had to have been around 2012 or so. Believe it or not, this music (and level as a whole) is a huge nostalgia trip for me.
The first Banjo-Kazooie rom hack I ever played as a teen on my Wii with Wii64 sparking my excitement for the future if Banjo-Kazooie romhacking and my deep fascination with Banjo's Backpack. I need to go back and try to further explore what is possible and what I can accomplish myself. I started on a farm level and a few other concepts but never finished them. Something made me stop but I don't remember what it was exactly.
hope that Space5000 comes back to this, more creators need to bring the BK content, if sometimes feels like you're the only one with the whole community on your shoulders, man.
Me hace muy feliz ver mods y niveles de fans de este juego, seguramente esta serie nunca reciba un juego nuevo o la atención que merece debido a microsoft, pero al menos con fans fieles haciendo contenido nuevo banjo siempre estara vivo aun
Great job, you’re a genius creating Banjo Kazooie new worlds that never seen at gameplays in Nintendo 64. I have ideas for new Banjo Kazooie adventures; a world about the Mexican kids soap operas or telenovelas infantiles from Televisa; and N64 Mario Party 2 lands with its soundtrack. Congratulations for your channel and continue creating more BK insane worlds. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
also,to give a more banjo-kazooie-ish ambiance to the music, you should add reverb to the themes. OG Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie themes had reverb On its channels on their Midi files.
tip: you could extract isle o hags directly from the game using Nintendo 64 Soundbank tool and obviously a Banjo-Tooie Rom. Just modify the Midi so you could get the normal theme since there's a Lot of channels in there!!
I seem to recall watching a video of this mod years ago. It was quite cool back then, but it's clear modeling and hacking techniques have improved since then. Is there a chance you could remake this level, just like how you changed that brewery level?
I'm not going to deny that while I was recording the video I was thinking about ideas for a possible remake of this level XD. But first I should ask the original developer if it's okay. Plus right now I'm pretty busy with other projects, but who knows
You can download the patch in the description. And then you have to use your own BK rom (the exact one I say in description) in the patcher I linked in description
To be honest, I really think this one is a big fail. Because of many reasons: it's called "Forest" but where is the forest ? It's massively wide for nothing + the distance of apparition for items is low, so it really requires you to explore each part of this wide and empty area (I was actually waiting a twist, like in the Little-Big islands from Mario 64, where you can become big and this wide area make sense afterwards). I believe a few elements make no sense, like the baobab and palm trees, those guys don't stick to this ambiance + the trees leaves are flashing green whereas the whole ambiance is a blue forest, is it possible just making the leaves blue ? (I sincerely don't know how to do it nor if it's difficult). Compared to many of all this chanel's creations, there are very few original ays or ideas to get the jiggys. I also see an issue concerning the termite, it's almost a copy-paste from Mumbo's Moutain, and I can regognize some jumps which are exactly the sames. Putting this transformation, why not ? But proposing something new and interesting would be better. There's still something which is a good point here: the ambiance is nice, thanks to the awesome music, and thanks to the very few elements which evoque a mystical forest, like the stone pieces and ruins, but this is way too low to create a real identity to this level. I've been following the chanel for two years, I sincerely love it, I'm sorry I have many bad things to say about this Blue Moon Forest. See you next time :)
Hi, this mod is not mine, developer info is in description. This was one of the first BK mods made back in 2015. Of course has it's flaws, but was one of the best ones when was published

Cool mod by Space5000! I've got a library of these and play now and then. Reminds me of simpler times on the 64. Thank you for showcasing Kurko!

Here I was hoping we got a Tooie mod because of the Isle O' Hags music. Oh well. Maybe someday.

The theme of Blue Moon Is very Melancholy but very calm.

I haven't tried it yet, but it's good news for N64 fans.
Which editor is the best to create Banjo Kazooie Mods?
There is only one: Banjosbackpack
