- v1.2 allows notes and other items to not be reset upon leaving a level. Feel free to use "EXIT LEVEL" in the pause menu at any time! Seamless travel is allowed between the hub and the two versions of SG Village, with jinjos, notes (and more) fully preserved upon re-entry to that level.

Just finished the whole thing, such a great mod! As someone who has never played custom Banjo levels, this was a perfect showcase of not only a great world but a comparison of the first ever mod, alongside all the extra info on other hacks! This hack has gotten me excited to delve into all the other lovely creations you and others have made
I've said it before but man, all your BK mods feel so official! Like actual outtakes from the original game! So well produced, I'm always in awe of your work!
Pretty interesting choice to have the new level played through before the old one. I assumed the old one would come first, but as someone that never played the original, seeing the new one and then seeing the original only afterwards made it feel as if I was playing through a newly discovered beta of the new village. Great stuff.
Just finished this hack. Having me get all the collectables to unveil a QR code to send me to a website where I need to complete a jigsaw puzzle on my phone to give me the location of a hidden switch In the game, which leads me to the ice key is just genius. Well played 🤙
This really is a work of art. I think Kurko could make a whole new series of Banjo Kazooie games

I especially loved the Forest of Spam and how you use QR codes to not only promote other BK and N64 mods but to access a website with a puzzle where solving it gives you a clue in the game. It was a real surprise when I saw the original Snow Glow Village. It basically opened the door to marvelous ROM Banjo-Kazooie hacks! Your new version of the hack showcases how far the hacking scene has come along! I hope the original creator of the village is proud!
By he way, I noticed how you have the Jiggies both circle around Banjo's head and instigate the Jiggy dance. That's a neat big of programming to allow both in the same ROM hack!I also imagine you applied custom flags regarding the Stop 'n' Swop items, so I'm delighted by how much further hacking this game has improved! Imagine if it gets decompiled the same way as Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time!

Oh man this is freaking awesome. I love how u could interact with the games due to the QR Codes... The whole Level Design, especially to solve the quests which are full of *riddls/puzzles* (hope its the right Word my english is Not so good)... Awesome Job my friend..btw It was my first mod ever played of BK.. But i guess its Hard to top :) tu so much,. .maybe sometimes my childhood dream of a BK threeie will come true..... Mark Kurko every video you upload are all good, I enjoy watching them. This is the best way to play new Banjo-Kazooie games.
I want to ask a question does Banjo-Tooie get mod level?
There are no tools to modify Tooie unfortunately
Klungo makes a double of banjo and kazooie the doubles don't even look like them but are similar enough the doubles kidnap and separate banjo and kazooie and take them to a new area the goal is to find each other and figure out how to get home. since you start out separate introduce new solo moves and a optional co-op mode where you can choose between the two characters and when you do reunite the characters together introduce new moves that can only be done as such lastly when back together you can backtrack to the banjo or kazooie areas with the other character and get items or whatever you could not before when you were by yourself for example lets say you have kazooie in the areas where it was just banjo now because your back together you have more platforming options and can get things you couldn't as just banjo. The bosses you beat give you pieces of map that you put together like a jigsaw puzzle and one of the recurring jokes is they keep getting mistaken for the fakes who caused all kinds of problems and destruction in the new world or area your taken two and that is my pitch for a true banjo kazooie third game
My god that new "notes stay collected" change in 1.2 is mindblowing
Is it possible for that to be added to Jiggies of Time? If not I understand but it would be pretty cool
it could go either way to be honest, since it doesn't keep just notes collected but all items/enemies/level state as well, and applying that to such a large game could be a challenge. doing just notes is very feasible though... it's something that'll be considered if kurko wants to push an update to jot in the future
@@wedarobi yeah, and also in sure leaving the items in tact for a bigger hack would be more beneficial anyways, so you dont run out of places to restore
@@brittasnow64 hmm true i guess. adding item respawn like in tooie would avoid that, but maybe just preserving notes + jinjos would be enough

Apologies for the ignorance and/or laziness. Been watching these vids for a long time purely for the nostalgia without having a clue how to play these levels…Life got in the way with starting a family and never got round to working out how! Can I ask, how can I play these? Does it have to be on a PC or laptop? Any help to recreate my childhood would be massively appreciated!
You can play these on an N64 emulator (PC, laptop, phone etc) or in real N64 using an everdrive. You just have to search for an emulator compatible with your device. Of course, if you play on a laptop or PC I recommend having some kind of controller, since playing a game like this with the keyboard is really frustrating.

Anyone else getting a crash on the house with the jiggy above the door on everdrive?
Can you give me more info? What Everdrive are you using? Did you complete the other levels first or does it also happen when you go directly from the starting point? What version of the game did you download 1.1 or 1.2? Could you check if you started an Empty file? Sometimes diferent mods use same save files and people start playing in an already started file, causing bugs
@@Kurko_Games im usin an everdrive x7 , no levels completed or anything it happens right from the start , im using the 1.2 versions and i just started a new game in file 1
@@larry556 We are working to find the bug. For now, if you want to play, you should be able to enter the house if you are using Talon Trot (Don't ask me why, but it worked for me XD) Could you confirm if it works for you that way?
