- I’m currently making a new series of videos that allows me to go further and further into the lore and backstory of some of Scream’s most iconic serial killers that ever donned the Ghostface Mask. This type of content comes from comments by directors, cast & crew, and is pieced together through my own writing. In todays episode, we’re taking a closer look at one third of the Ghostface killers from Scream VI - Ethan. So it was revealed a couple of months ago by Radio Silence that Ethan and Detective Bailey were responsible for the murder of Mrs Bailey - the wife of Wayne and the mother of Richie, Quinn and Ethan. This is a seriously dark turn for these killers. So how did this all transpire? What purpose did this event serve to the backstory of this family? Sit back and chill as I read you guys through the moment that Ethan…murdered Mrs Bailey.

If they would’ve kept the part about them killing their mom in the movie this would’ve been one hell of a post credit scene. Imagine it says “one year ago” and this scene plays out. That would’ve been insane
The Paramount Plus series should be an anthology of stand alone stories featuring former killers in the timeframe of setting up their sprees respectively and tie it all together…
I say this a lot, but I honestly think Paramount should bring beyond the mask on the writing team for these movies. It’s so engaging and interesting, I hang onto every word

Halfway through, I have to say I think you nailed this dynamic perfectly. The semi-abusive relationship between Wayne and Ethan; the way Richie looms over the family. God, you may have made me interested in these killers.
Sam Loom'ed all over the family too LOL. She got the killer gene.
Please can you do more like this? I loved your Mickey backstory a while back. You're literally one of the only writers who isn't afraid to go too dark with stuff.

Amber talked about sam and tara's mom saying she was an alcoholic who talked too much, probably the mom talked about that too and then amber told richie

I think he knew of course but he had come up with excuses to not blame his son.

Detective baliey is the most violent ghostface killer. In fact that he actually was wearing Billy's mask makes him more unique.

Where did you get this backstory information?? It's a dynamic that needed to be explored in Scream 6! Man that would have made the killers so much more intriguing and less Scream 2 knock offs.

Things happen offscreen just because the scene is not there doesn’t change that if that were not canon the mother would also be in on the the killings but she’s not there so something happened too her characters have backstory’s ever watched once upon a time things aren’t mentioned but they do things offscreen

What is Wayne, Ethan, and Quinn's real last name? Kirsch or Bailey?
Kirsch and Bailey are both fake names, they went by something else completely which is unknown

Thank goodness it's deleted and not canon. If it was canon, Wayne was pure evil and the movie was hard to watch.
