Melissa's performance in Scream 6 was WOW
Some people criticised her acting in 5. She definitely improved greatly in 6.
Everyone’s acting in 5 was awful, especially hers.
But 6 was phenomenally better for all concerned! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Mason Gooding was pretty solid with what he was given, Jasmin was solid, Mikey was fine and Jack Quaid killed it when he's finally revealed as the brains of the operation. Sadly Melissa felt off in several scenes and Jenna is stuck in a bed for over half the film. Gets very little to do throughout.
Melissa Barrera did such an incredible job in this film, now you all better put respect on her name. She carried this film.

I honestly didn’t think they were gonna pull off making a Scream film without Sidney Prescott. They did and they exceeded my expectations. Scream VI was great.
Yesssss, I was dead set on not seeing this movie, because she wasn't in it, but it exceeded my expectations. Still some parts I'm like HMMM ABOUT, but that just means we'll be getting more sequels and I'm here for it....

The true friendship bled through onto the screen and that really was the biggest magic of Scream 6 and it's what has taken this franchise forward into new territory where new characters can truly hold the story down.

@@MrMrjack18 I get why you would say the fake out deaths sucked, and I agree partially. However, I got thinking after the movie: this is only the second film with this new cast. I feel like Radio Silence wants us to really love these characters so they can then rip our hearts out in Scream 7. I thought this movie was a perfect Scream sequel!!!
You can tell how much love and how passionate Jenna has when talking about acting she's definitely going to go very far in her career and she’s very intelligent and not to mention incredibly Beautiful, I Think she’ll win a Oscar and many more awards in the future for sure she’s such an amazing actress already, And I’m rooting for her, and can’t wait to see what she does next. :)

It was Gale's first time to be called by ghost face and yet she put that on hold, so funny. LOL.
I really enjoyed watching this film, it felt very thriller, horrified, but in some parts it was a little funny. and I really like the interaction of Tara and Sam, I like the relationship between the sisters. I've watched this film twice now ❤❤
Personally, I loved this movie, ppl are saying the story between Sam and Tara is unnecessary, but I love it. Scream has always been rooted in depth, it's not just a killer going around slashing. Sidney had a story, and it's one we followed, if you were a true SCREAM FAN, much like if you weren't tearing up when Dewey died, were you really a fan??
I love where the franchise is going. I am a little skeptical as to why the OG'S (Excluding Kirby,as we all learned in the last movie that she survived) all lived, but I'm inclined to believe the next SCREAM will deligate the reason more clear to us.....
dewey didn't live. and sidney isn't coming back from what i understand. 4 was her last one and a short phonecall cameo in 5 was it.
it would be nice to see a theoretical 7 that brings all the og and new people together for a finale. but its at 6 now.

the kills in 5 and 6 were so gnarly but the killers were so lame. especially in 6... idk how a cop in ny can have his last name changed
and be on the job for that long without people knowing his son is dead and also the reason for his death was for being a serial killer.
that made no sense to me as well as the whole family trio - how would you convince your 2nd son and only daughter to give up their
lives in order to take lives. i can see one person in the family snapping but not the entire remaining family, that always just felt weird.
especially with one being a NYPD... with two kids using fake names. their homelife must have been filled with abuse to get them onboard

Scream 6 is the best Scream movie since the first and was a great theatre experience and again, Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera were the stand out performances for me.

I don't usually watch horror movies like these with so much blood and stuff, and only watched this one and scream 5 because of Jenna. To be honest, I kept my eyes closed during most of the Ghostface scenes because I'm really not into that stuff BUT Scream VI is still one of my favorite movies now and I'm going to watch it a third time in the cinema this weekend. The relationships between all the characters are so well-developed and all the main characters are so lovable! I feel like it's very rare to find something like that in a horror movie. It definitely IS a horror movie, but it balances the gory stuff and the sweet character moments so well, that it's also enjoyable for people like me. Kudos to everyone involved in making this movie! Really excited about the 7th one!

As a long time fan of Jenna I’m so happy seeing all the success she’s been getting she’s so humble, down to earth, intelligent, talented, witty, Caring, and not to mention one of the most beautiful women in the world with a beautiful soul, I can’t think of anyone else who deserves it more than her, She is such and amazing person and actress and when you hear her talk about acting you can see how much love and passion she has for it and making films in general, And I can guarantee you 100% Jenna Ortega will be one of the biggest Names and actors in the world and industry In the future and she will win a Academy Award or multiple of them and many many more other prestigious awards, She is already so incredibly talented and I can’t wait to see her career blossom and grow and she what she dose in the future, Maybe producing and Directing Films and TV and I’ll be rooting for her and watching whatever she’s in or a part of in anyway and supporting her. ❤️

I absolutely LOVE that uncertainty about Sam’s morality. Like, let’s be real, after Jill we all know any of the main characters could be Ghostface by the end. What if Sydney is the next Ghostface? What if Gale will be? I love that. That’s the point of mystery stories.
I also love these new characters more than the OGs, really, and I say this as someone who was 8 when the first movie came out and watched all of them before seeing 5. I’m speaking as a legacy fan. But this core group of characters is just so much more interesting to me.
Either way, Billy, Stu and Sam are my babygirls.

I got to meet Wes Craven in SOHO, NYC when he was doin press for My Soul to Take right after wrapping filming Scream 4 his last film, couple years before he died (RIP Horror King). Funny story when meeting him, I was so star struck on the stage he was standing on 3 steps up to go take a pic with my buddy and him, there was a wire going up the steps that I didn't see, I tripped over it walkin up, fumbling into Wes, almost knocking him off the stage where he gasped "UGHH!", and I grabbed the old mans back from falling as he waved his arms to keep balance from fallin off the ledge behind him like a scene out of a movie 🤣 lmfao.. he was beat red as I apologized with my buddy we we're like "HOLY SHYT OMG!!", and he said it's ok don't worry about, and the 3 of us took a picture together where he's smiling ear to ear... my buddy says I can forever say I scared the Horror King lol. Then we took a pic with that Max Theriot lead actor from My Soul to Take who seemed to think we were insane lmfao.. They thought we were Ghostface wannabe Billy and Stu for sure lol. I have to post that pic, and story on my channel. Story over lol.

i'll be honest i havent seen anything from the scream franchise in a while and yeah like a good lot i decided to check it out because Jenna was in it (even watch 5 first before going to see it) and shit i throughly enjoyed it like start to finish...thought it was a great ass movie and by looking at all the BTS the cast was fantastic and this last one will be hard to top just by how well the cast was put and worked together!
So happy Jenna Ortega is in the franchise

I did enjoy this movie and respected it a lot for keeping me on the edge of my seat and entertained throughout the film, although I do wish they took more advantage of the cityscape in Manhattan. Figure they could of made some incredible scenes in a big city like that but maybe I was just getting my hopes too high🤷🏻♂️

I saw this at the fan event it was so good. I geeked when I saw a glimpse of mojo jojo walking up the stairs in the subway knowing Roger L Jackson voiced him. Nice little Easter egg. Also loved the NY swag they put on ghostface. And the opening was 🤌🏽❤

also, i enjoy the final girl being the daughter of billy loomis, her kills are SO much more brutal
than just defensively staying alive and then a bullet to the dome.
these recent Screams with the more realistic stabbing kills are amazing.

Scream 6 also worked with out Neve. Neve is my favourite but in all honesty i didn't notice her not being in it, until it was finished. I honestly thought i would b sidney should turn up now like every 5mins but I didn't. I do hope she returns in 7 tho even if its a small cameo.

But after 5 movies Sid's story is over and ok they are fictional character but after all these years became icons to us and we cannot not care for them that's why Dewey's death hurt as hell....... Let the new cast shine, they really stole these movies, even Melissa Barrera!
I did not like her acting in the previous one but here she totally nailed it, maybe the script did more justice to that character.

I watched Scream 6 last night and it was the best Scream movie since the first and was a great theatre experience and again, Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera were the stand out performances for me, Also I almost gave this a lower rating because Jenna Ortega kissed someone other than me in the movie.
Sam is easily the best character in the franchise currently. Even Wes & Kevin Williamson didnt give Sydney this much depth.
