They are the world best friend...my chocolate labrador pass away on the 16 of June 2022..I still crying...he was only 10 years and 8 months...fully vaccined..check up to the vet every six months...best food..but sill he went much to early..I mis him so much..I got is ahes in a beautiful box....but please remember they don't live long enough..😭
Rarity depends on where you live. I waited three years to get mine. Some issues with breeding, availability at rescues and finances. Worth the wait. Everything you said here is true. She even made friends with my 22 year old cat who does not like other people or animals. Amazing. When you get your puppy, plan on spending a lot of time with energy. They demand engagement, approval and have to be around you or family members. I am allowed to take mine in to work and everyone loves her. The more socializing they get, the better. It’s like bringing a baby home.
I had a family friend who had a chocolate lab. THE MOST LOVING DOG EVER! When there were a bunch of kids over at their house, he would interrupt their playtime, lay on top of all their toys, and beg to be pet! I will forever love this breed after meeting him!
We lost our 14 year old chocolate lab 6 months ago. He was so wonderful, loving, sweet, and a part of our family. We loved him and miss him dearly. They are the best.
My wife and i have i chocolate lab named kona for 4 years. She is the best dog i ever had. I live near buffalo , niagara falls area and she goes crazy in the snow. She also loves to swim , i take her to lake ontario a lot in the summer. Chocolate labs are a lot of fun.

Chocolates were actually killed at one point, making them extremely rare and suddenly more popular. My family used to have a chocolate lab, Leroy. Lived for 12 years, from about 2006-2020. Had to put him down due to rapidly declining health and the vet refused to see him even with breathing problems. During early covid, so either he was dropped off and never seen again or, what we went for, a gal came down from a major city up north so we could stay with him. Even going on four years later, it’s still painful and i miss that sweet boy. My dad went and got a black lab, Loki two days after Leroy’s passing. I’ve long moved out
I love labs, I've an Alpha black lab, a Tan yellow 4 months pup n awaiting a brown chocolate lab. I love them so much very adorable n quick to learn. Here in India not much brown difficult to find n if found very expensive I love my sweet labs, mischievous pup but loving.

my dog lived to be almost 15 we fed her cheap dog food her whole life hardly ever walked her and took her to the vet maybe 4 times ever
