Many years ago my mother had a German Shepherd named Jake. She would stop at Mcdonalds and get him a small dish of vanilla ice cream. For years when he saw the arches he would go nuts, he knew he would get his little treat!

Every dog i've ever owned has gotten french fries or other sweet/salty snacks once in a while, and they were/are perfectly fine. It's not like she's giving Woody a diet of pure ice cream.
That was pretty good! My dogs past and present have felt the same way about ice cream; it is something is extra, extra special for them. They, as people like us, like something wonderful from time to time and they are very appreciative. My dogs, like yours, know what the spoken word, "ICECREAM," is and brings a smile to their face.

I just adopted a two year old chocolate lab named Daisy. She is a beautiful girl. We don’t have maccas in my town, but next time I go somewhere there is one, she is definitely getting an icecream!🙏👍
Considering that dogs sense of smell is a million times better than that of humans, I wonder why dogs don't puke upon smelling a fart?, because if humans had the same sense of smell we would puke upon smelling a fart.
