The road is open to Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center which is 0.2 miles from the south entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park.
We snowshoed mostly along the highway 89 covered with 10+ feet deep snow with a few shortcuts.
On the first day, we snowshoed up to 10,000 feet. The following day, we ascended another 500 feet to reach the summit before descending. We started at 7:30 AM and returned to the car by 2 PM.
