Lassen Peak in the Winter

Two days in Lassen National Park, climbing Lassen Peak on the usual route. In the first day we took the normal road, now closed and covered by about three meters of snow, with some shortcuts, to the base of the mountain, and climbed it to a platform with excellent views, about 200m under the top. Second day climbed the peak, absorbed the wonderful views, and returned on the same path. Great snow conditions, with hard snow, but not too icy. Crampons, snowshoes and ice ax used.
All in all, a nice winter hike.
