Went antiques shopping yesterday here in Nashville and finally found a small English scale, black iron base and disc style weights with brass pear shaped bowl. Also, I have a book recommendation for you. It’s “Everyday Monet” by Aileen Bordman. Her mother helped restore Monet’s garden in Giverny beginning in 1980. It’s a beautiful book, and I know you will love it! A bientot!

Angela ,please,please ,help with the einkorn sour dough !I have been making starter for over a year,but can never get it right,I use a scale ,and do everything ,I can never seem to get it to bubble right.When you refresh your starter do you have to measure exactly right ,and the temperature of the water.I am determined !Thanks so much !Love your kitchen clean up!

@@catherinemathias3456 yes my grandmothers ironing board was wood, came out of a cupboard in the kitchen wall.. but she always had it wrapped in an old batting a fabric cover. I never saw her iron directly on the wood

I used to iron on my table without a board my daughter left a Iron mark on my table i just left it there for memory sake
Ironing boards of the past were made of wood. Sealed ironing on a table does nothing to it. The steam is even good for the wood.
