Canon R6 VS R6 Mk ii in 2024. Should you buy or upgrade to one of these cameras? User thoughts.

The R6 mkII is much better at shooting wildlife and sports. The camera is faster than the original R6. It tracks movement better than the original version. If you shoot static subjects then the R6 does an excellent job.

I bought my R6 because Canon had it refurbished for $1799.00 (USA) and I think that the R6mk2 is probably the best camera on the market.. Hate to have both as they are similar.. We will see, lol. I prefer the 20 or 24mp id perfect for my line of work which is mostly weddings and models. The R5 is just such huge files to work with and store..

The R6 is an amazing camera that doesn't get as much love as it should!
