These guys were one of many great reasons living in Canada was and still is awesome. Their songs and videos were circulated just as much as any other big band during their time.
These guys played their comeback show at Ancaster Fair in Southern Ontario... it was totally free, I was front row, and I've got to say- those 3 dudes sound like a 5 piece band, and I they rocked our socks, balls out, pedal to the medal
I have been a faithful follower of Tea Party since I first listen to Splendor Solis, and I can honestly say that Seven Circles is an AMAZING album, just like everything they have put out so far, including Jeff's solo effort. Probably one of the 5 best rock artists of all time, the Tea Party are brave enough to keep on changing, and yes EVOLVING, just like true artists are bound to. Beautiful and complex, yet far from arrogant. Modern music in its most poetic expression.
Jeff is in the studio working on the new solo album. From what I've heard he's revisiting The Tea Party sound. I'm excited. Not as excited as if he was revisiting it with Stuart and Jeff B again though.
I absolutely love The Tea Party. I've been a fan ever since the early 90s when I saw their "Fire in the Head" video on Much Music. Mine and my first boyfriend's song was "Correspondences" and even though that was well over 15 years ago when I hear it I think of him. This band imo has gotten better with time and I hope they continue to produce music in the future.
Totally. 21. I remember listening to it on the radio wiring condos downtown regina. That and shitty sexy boots by u2. And boulevard of broken dreams. Man that was a long time ago. The 2000s were a good time.
I think this song is a good example of a band trying to break from their normal feel. If you want to make it in a music career you have to do something diffrent after a while and I think these guys did a pretty good job even though it may lack some of the sound that is sort of unique to tea party
@shockme25159 Yes, they cut half the bridge out. The "These are the times when we live inside our minds..." part, which is the first half of the bridge.
Fuck yeah, what happened to the solo effort by Jeff? I haven't heard anything. They should definitely get back together because obviously they still got it. Their last album was my favourite.
Really? This is pretty straight forward. Watching someone you love suffer, and they will not tell you. There might be more, but I've only listened to 7C 2 or 3 times
this is not an excuse for a band btw,you play what you like no matter if its gonna get you to the top or not!!!but anyway, just because we couldn't know if its cause of this or because they liked this style,we can't say!!!! :-)
@sixfeetontop Wow, sounds awesome. I went to the one last year, very good line up. I don't think I will be at the one this year, which is sad, Bluesfest is awesome!
@mobrules29 You should check out their other songs / videos on TH-cam - Sister Awake , Heaven Coning Down, Temptation, Walking Wounded etc. These three guys were amazing especially live. FYI I liked Dio as well , especially when he was with Sabbath!
yeah, i guess it's better than going mainstream... jeff martin does have a few good solo songs... i just wish they would get back together and keep their awesome unique sound.
Should've left the bridge alone--it's the best part of the song. Cutting it in half just to make the song shorter makes the song weaker in the end. Original is much better, but this is still a good (radio) edit, overall.
I see 7C as the record company finally taking the last bit's of control away from Martin, something we saw the beginning of in The Interzone Mantra's which I thought was just as good as Edges...White Water Siren, Cathartik, Angels, Apathy...
A great song for sure, keep on making great music ! "Reading the Leaves says world recognition is in your future..."
The most underrated band of all time!!!.
Underrated comment 22 likes in 5 years I have lots of questions
IMO, the most underrated Canadian rock band ever. Awesome song.
that would be Brighton Rock....sorry but i love this band
most underrated band, ever
Here in Brazil thinking the same.
The Tea Party is amazing !!! Not party music. For true lovers of music and words. The type of music you listen to when alone wearing headphones.

I swear this must be what music sounds like in the afterlife ⚡️⚡️⚡️ he sings from the soul to the soul

This album strikes me much differently now than when it came out…
I had completely forgotten about this song. One of my favorites by The Tea Party.
this is breathtaking..because of this song I will forever be crazy for a special guy out there..just as he did..my knees go weak when I hear this song
I have missed these guys, thanks to my friend for showing me a vid of theirs and making me remember............fun times!
I just seen the lead singers guitar here at river cree resort and casino. Here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
I am Canadian. This is my band!!!!! Don't understand their lack of success. But I am glad at the same time. A true gem in a sea of shit.
Well...they're not exactly unsuccessful...:)
one of the best bands to come out of Canada.
One of the best songs to come out of anywhere!
This song is a Masterpiece.
This song is just excellent!!! It was so hurtful for us fans to hear they split up after they published this. Great Band!!!
Did you know that they’re back together, have recorded much more music and are currently on tour with I Mother Earth?
Canada pumps out the power trios! Rush, Triumph, The Tea Party.... must be something in their water...
When i first heard this song played it over n over ..awesome song

This is 1 of ur greatest songs of all time uncle Jeff Burrows
The best Tea Party song, period!!!
Good song, I like it. :) I always wanted to check out more of this band, a shame they broke up, they had alot of talent backing them up.
Amazing talent, my favorite band! Canada rules!!
Jeff is in the studio working on the new solo album. From what I've heard he's revisiting The Tea Party sound. I'm excited. Not as excited as if he was revisiting it with Stuart and Jeff B again though.

Love this song! Of their many, this is one of my favorites!
Another amazing song from the Tea Party. Is there even another band in the world that can compete with this type of alt. rock?
This song hits EVERY chill in my back
This band never ceases to impress me. Love from your neighbors down south 🇺🇸
One of my favorites from the Tea Party
This song rocks and rolls! Feel like stargazing tonight!
saw these guys in ottawa last night.
yea, they're back and louder than ever.
I really want to see this in HD!!!!
Just got back from the show...... so good almost tears during messenger acoustic
Un grupazo! A ver cuando vienen por Eslovaquia!
This song is awesome.
we love The Tea Party...proud to be a Canuck.
song brings me back to a good time in my mid 20s ....
dude same haha well early 20s i think but still oh canada lol
Totally. 21. I remember listening to it on the radio wiring condos downtown regina. That and shitty sexy boots by u2. And boulevard of broken dreams.
Man that was a long time ago. The 2000s were a good time.
Late teens/early 20s for me. If only we could go back lol. Sigh
This song makes me so happy, idk why
I feel the same!🦄
Não tem como explicar a beleza desse som 🤘🏽♥️
this song is amazing !!
what an amazing song
STILL love this song
I wish they released more stuff on vinyl.
They reunited in 2012. Rumour is a new album on the way. They are more energetic, and heavier than ever!
@TheArts8 That's awesome:). I hope you have an awesome time!! I can't wait to see them live, either.
I'm a star gazer and can tell you-WE ARE NOT ALONE ~
I think this song is a good example of a band trying to break from their normal feel. If you want to make it in a music career you have to do something diffrent after a while and I think these guys did a pretty good job even though it may lack some of the sound that is sort of unique to tea party
You haven’t seen AC/DC. Even in 2000 they were still making songs that sounded like they were from the 70s.
@shockme25159 Yes, they cut half the bridge out. The "These are the times
when we live inside our minds..." part, which is the first half of the bridge.
I saw this band live, when they opened for Def leopard like 7 years ago
Ive never heard this song before from them I love it the music is great and I love his voice so sexy!
Fuck yeah, what happened to the solo effort by Jeff? I haven't heard anything. They should definitely get back together because obviously they still got it. Their last album was my favourite.
takes me back to 2004
xfm rogers 1998 Edgefest .. :)
Really? This is pretty straight forward.
Watching someone you love suffer, and they will not tell you.
There might be more, but I've only listened to 7C 2 or 3 times
There was NO reason to shorten the bridge and the outro chorus of this song for the video! We're not selling a Chevrolet here...
EXCELENTE VIDEO...
"hey show me love tell me where the stars sleep and will all be free." -jeff martin
This is a very nice song.
@futureseven but they have reunited for a summer tour! saw them a week ago...awesome concert :)
That was my best band ever ...
@sixfeetontop i love the way that with tea party fans you like love them or have never even heard of them ....its like some type of sweet club....
love this song
this is not an excuse for a band btw,you play what you like no matter if its gonna get you to the top or not!!!but anyway, just because we couldn't know if its cause of this or because they liked this style,we can't say!!!! :-)
It's the first and best song I've ever heard from them, love it, there're so many feelings, but the video could be better!
@sixfeetontop
Wow, sounds awesome. I went to the one last year, very good line up.
I don't think I will be at the one this year, which is sad, Bluesfest is awesome!
Molsen,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I AM CANADIAN!!!!! LOVE EH!!!
I love this song!!!! the video's cool too, except I never got the floating head thing...

Smacking those sticks bro
One of the members joined with people from "Our Lady Peace" and "I Mother Earth" and made "Crash Karma. Closest we are going to get I think.
The22tankmaster Both Crash Karma albums are DOA. Glad these guys are back at it again.

It's not Christian stfu
Heaven's gate
I feel the same ❤ rips the doors wide open
@mobrules29 You should check out their other songs / videos on TH-cam - Sister Awake , Heaven Coning Down, Temptation, Walking Wounded etc. These three guys were amazing especially live. FYI I liked Dio as well , especially when he was with Sabbath!
@TheArts8 Nice!! Are you going?
at the time it was called Saskplace, now its called credit union center in saskatoon,
they tried to go pop with this track..and it worked!
yeah, i guess it's better than going mainstream... jeff martin does have a few good solo songs... i just wish they would get back together and keep their awesome unique sound.
To be fair, if someone had a Tea Party party, I'd choose that over any party with 'party music'. That's a lot of party.
Love this song and video but it's a shame they edited out part of that awesome bridge.
Fkn fantastic
thanks mate =)
Exactly, plus around Seven Circles is when the mainstream media payed more atenttion to them so the band probably knew that & wanted out as well
Should've left the bridge alone--it's the best part of the song. Cutting it in half just to make the song shorter makes the song weaker in the end. Original is much better, but this is still a good (radio) edit, overall.
Great!
@alarum13 Thanks for the update!
I really wanna know!
you are so right, I heard they broke up last year too :(
@TheArts8 Are you from the Hamilton area? I'm from Ottawa. Have a wicked time, man! I'll be seeing them at Bluesfest this year:).
You got your wish! :)
i love it...dark and true...like me...lol
@TheArts8 I totally agree with you, man!
< Thank-You
#TBT MuchMusic Countdown November 26 2004
We are in 2010! and i heard this fucking song today! fuck!
love it.
I see 7C as the record company finally taking the last bit's of control away from Martin, something we saw the beginning of in The Interzone Mantra's which I thought was just as good as Edges...White Water Siren, Cathartik, Angels, Apathy...
24 people were so heart broken by The Tea Party's break up that their love for them turn to sadness and than to anger and finally hatred...
Awesome band !! Where are they now??
