I have a very specific memory attached to this music video. I was sitting on my living room watching MTV for hours and hadn’t even noticed that my grandma was sitting on the couch behind me watching it all the same. I still remember the orange sunlight beaming through the windows, the cold floor, and the smell of dinner throughout the house. I was at such peace in the comfort of her presence and our home.

+Alfie Jones 80s fresh.
I remember seeing tgese guys open for ash around 20 years ago at the TLA. Dude out front was hyping up yhe bravery, said theyd change my life. They did not, but they were damn good and i bought their album
the tension of waiting to find out whose treasure trail+belt buckle is shown at 0:05 and then sitting through an entire Rube Goldberg machine sequence to never find out... it must have been..... an honest mistake 👀
Glad you found it.
MTV originally brought me here. I remember watching this in the morning before school. Great memories
Erik Plumley Burnout Revenge brought me here but with the Superdiscount Remix version which is way better than the Original version
no it isn't
@@beepst yes it was
It was in Burnout Revenge on Xbox
Fantastic song all these years later! I wish the album version had the underwater effect around 2:10, lol. It adds a little more style to an already slick track.
Still my favourite music video of all time. Love how that arrow misses the target at the end 😂😂
This song still gets stuck in my head whenever I hear the phrase, "it was an honest mistake". (Which is exactly why I am listening to it again.)
This isn't a genre of music I enjoy but I absolutely love this track, always have. Such an underrated fantastic piece of music, one of my favourites
Omg, what a great sound has this song. Sounds powerful and harmonious at once
This band was my ENTIRE childhood. I'm so glad my dad has good taste
I remember when they first played this on the mtv channel back in the early 2000"s
Every time i see this video, I think this guy is going to fight sportacus.
The Bravery is legend. I am glad I lived at the same time as you.
This song is totally amazing, I miss so much this band, specially this era, they kick ass with so much style!!
Rediscovered this song and can't stop listening to it ♡
Chocale!
Check out the Later with Jools Holland version, MUCH better than the original studio version.

MVP Baseball 2005. This song is forever burned in to my brain because of it.
Burnout Revenge
Whenever I'm racing & never gets old
The Superdiscount Remix is alot better than the Original version
This song was introduced to me during the second season of the OC back in 2004 and I fell in love!!! Sooo good!!
Good call Nascar on NBC for brining this memory back in the Brickyard 400 today!
“It was an honest mistake!” - Carson Hocevar
Listened to this playing World of Warcraft when I was 12. I'm 23 and it's more relevant than ever
Reminds me of Leroy Jenkins.
@@pulsefang666 LEEEEEEEERROY!!!! JEEEEEEENKINS!!!!! omg did he just...
Glad to see you've come out of WOW unscathed.
This is hands down The Bravery's best song. I wish more bands produced this type of jam.
I had forgotten about this until Crowder did a spoof using it... I had to hear it again! A timeless tune.
I saw them live opening for The Cure and they had the greatest energy on stage of probably every act!
One of the absolute top songs of its time. I still love it 20 years on. I just wanted you to know ....
They remind me of Joy Division and early New Order big time and also The Smiths... Plus the singer reminds me of Morrissey the way he sings and prances around.
OMG I absolutely love this band. There music resonates deep in my soul
Am I the only one who thinks the music sounds so devastating and utterly melancholy at 0:21-0:26? It's haunted me with its beauty for 16 years. I can't believe it's been 16 years! One of the best intimate concerts I ever saw. Thank you Bravery!
Oh my god yes!!ive been waiting for someone to say this!It sounds melancholy and somehow a bit of rebellious I would say
My very first Bravery song I was ever exposed to. Still love it.
I remember listening to this as a 4 year old while driving to the beach with my mom. Good times 😊❤
Oooh
Your mam is cool!
I too have overcome these road trips with music! and slayed them with family audiobooks! good times
That's a nice memory :)
I remember hearing this song every morning before I went to school. God, still so good.
Me too!! 😭
MVP baseball, this song will stay stuck in my head forever because I played the hell out of that game.
The part where the camera goes in the water and it sounds muffled was a nice touch, quality work 😁
Now w 3 kids and this takes me back... my kid yelling in the back that its too loud, darn it, let me wash the dishes rocking this out hahahaha
2023 and this is still a banger
This song was so powerful the time it dropped. man it made my year and memories
This song is SO under rated.
The drumming on this track is out of this world.
Something on fb sent me here.. but I can’t remember what it was. Haven’t heard this song in YEARS but somehow knew all the words when it started 🤣
The openings to their songs are brilliant 👌
After all these years this song still SLAPS
The drums on this song are just too good
Really miss this genre of music …. This sounds fresh and revelant .
