This is the only game that will never EVER fail to make me clearly, vividly remember the memories of my younger self. Every morning before first grade, every night watching a bunch of guys yelling into their microphones playing a block game, every middle schooler I looked up to because they were so grown up and knew so much about games than I did.. I’m almost out of high school. I have no interest in Minecraft nor pretty much any of my childhood hobbies. I’m sad I’m moving into the next chapter of my life. Maybe you might feel the same way or are in the same position. We moved on. Its hard to day “we’re not kids anymore”, I know. If you miss it so much, please just understand that: My friend, we grew up.
I remember back then, me and my sister used to play superflat worlds in creative and make a "lab", which we just had a computer and a minecart with redstone I played on console too
I wanna go back to those years.. these years were the best I still recall it all here in Belgium from 2003-2014.. the dark blue sky during the day, the warm rays of sunshine outside, the sunshine coming through the curtains.. even going to school was so much fun here. I'd go home excited too to play with your friends outside, for the rest of the afternoon. As soon as the sun starts to set we'd go back inside, make our homework, either I'd play with my toys or fire up the xbox for playing halo with my father. All that just fwooshed away as soon as 2015 hit. Suddenly the dark blue sky is replaced with a light blue sky, the rays coming through the curtains are gone, school is not like it was anymore and way to hot.. What I'd do to just get that all back is unimaginable. I started playing Minecraft not long after it released on ps3. Moved to Psvita edition and so to pc

Now im 15 and my brothers graduating this year time flys. I know i still have so much more growing up to do but if your reading and your still just a little kid... And that is why I don't want to grow up yet but its happening too fast I remember when I was in third grade we got Minecraft that was in 2013 I never realized how much I would come to love it. At first it was just a game for me but then we got an xbox and minecraft was the first game we got and me and my brother made a world that we still have to this day and whenever I get on it and find our mansions and hotels that are basically Iron blocks it makes me miss the olden days. Also life outside of Minecraft has changed so much I remember coming to my grandmas house, where we now live, to come camp at the pond with my cousins and those were some of the best times ever and now without even realizing those times are all but over. I hate nostalgia and I love it at the same time.
This is truly sad. Life was so simple back then, we had absolutely no worries, no responsibilities, just enjoy life and play Minecraft. It’s genuinely sad having to grow up. I wish that we could go back when life was great. I remember playing hours a day with my brothers creating towns and cities on Minecraft, but I can no longer do that anymore. All I wish is to go back for a day just to enjoy that feeling again.
No matter how much time passes, this game will be cherished in the hearts of a whole generation. We’ll never let this game die as we keep the memories of good times.
Today is the first time ive cried listening to any song. And this is it. Whwn i did, i cried HARD. Im going through a tough time right now, and this song just makes me think about all the good times i've had in the past playing minecraft. From my first sandstone restaurant, to my current modpack experiences with flans and the origins mod. It really makes me think hard. I want to go back to these times. The only worry was how many diamonds i could collect and if i could beat the ender dragon. Not now when i have the weight of family issues stacked ontop of me, constant anxiety and the current struggles i am going through. Things were so much simplwr back then.

I have a old version of minecraft on my PS3 and it still has that crafting menu. I have a old version in my Xbox that still has the same tutorial area that the first image came from. I can still relive the nostalgia.
I remember seeing a kid at school years back. He'd play Minecraft during lunch every day. Id ask him "Why don't you update your game?" he told me "I like to heal when I eat." Huh, I'm crying now, too bad, looks like I have to sub now.
3 minutes and 36 seconds felt like an eternity. At the same time, it felt like a whole decade of my life flashed before my eyes. So quick, yet so precious.
I didnt start playing untill 2012, and i only played on pocket edition until I finally moved to nintendo switch in 2020. I never watched any old mc videos like stampy or the music videos, but I do remember playing with friends, my old houses, my pets, my diamond houses, and so much more.
I still remember my first minecraft world - a river cutting throught the valley which i spawned in, some sheep grazed in a forest, not far off. Paradise, I didn't realise at the time. Since then, I've grown up, lost all my worlds, including my first one, multiple times, and my origional account has been hacked. Only the memory remains. I hope I never forget it.
All I wanted was to play online turns out all I needed was a Microsoft account...I’ve been playing Minecraft for 5 years and never knew how easy it was to log on and play with actual people
i hope future generations get their own minecraft. part of all this is growing up with minecraft, a great game that has grown with us, and will likely continue to grow. it may be around for the next generations, but eventually a new game will come out, and it will grow with a generation as minecraft has with us, and one day it will be past its time, always remembered, always admired.

I wanna go back to those years.. these years were the best
I still recall it all here in Belgium from 2003-2014.. the dark blue sky during the day, the warm rays of sunshine outside, the sunshine coming through the curtains.. even going to school was so much fun here. I'd go home excited too to play with your friends outside, for the rest of the afternoon. As soon as the sun starts to set we'd go back inside, make our homework, either I'd play with my toys or fire up the xbox for playing halo with my father.
All that just fwooshed away as soon as 2015 hit. Suddenly the dark blue sky is replaced with a light blue sky, the rays coming through the curtains are gone, school is not like it was anymore and way to hot..
What I'd do to just get that all back is unimaginable.
I started playing Minecraft not long after it released on ps3. Moved to Psvita edition and so to pc

I remember around 2016 I had Minecraft on my 360. I woke up and it had a update and I hurried to tell my brother it had updated to the version with horses and breeding. We were so exited that we played it before we went to school. I’d honestly do anything to go back in time and relive that happines

im kind of glad I played minecraft as a kid.
I revisted my old world just to see everything still the same as I left it 7 years ago.
I sold my original copy of the game ps4 and pocket edition along with the worlds a regret of my childhood and i may have played in idk when the game was dead but the videos were still there to enjoy and boy did i enjoy forget the trend era i endured i still had minecraft to play on with my cousin and the 2012 minecraft vetarns uncle.
Today i finally got a new account but still planing to get that legacy edition of the game for all times sakes.

I was 8... Ahhh such a great time had no worries and had nothing to do but be a kid and have fun on this masterpiece.... I remember me and my older brother we would sit on this game for hours at a time doing whatever usually trying to build something huge like a castle or something or start up a survival world and pull a all nighter mining and building houses we never usually finished the world but whatever we still built a memory.... Now im 15 and my brothers graduating this year time flys. I know i still have so much more growing up to do but if your reading and your still just a little kid... I hate to say it but you have a rough future as a teen or adult with so much stress and work and responsibility so live your child hood years and enjoy them as much as possible i just wish i could go back but that's not how life works.... And that is why I don't want to grow up yet but its happening too fast I remember when I was in third grade we got Minecraft that was in 2013 I never realized how much I would come to love it. At first it was just a game for me but then we got an xbox and minecraft was the first game we got and me and my brother made a world that we still have to this day and whenever I get on it and find our mansions and hotels that are basically Iron blocks it makes me miss the olden days. Also life outside of Minecraft has changed so much I remember coming to my grandmas house, where we now live, to come camp at the pond with my cousins and those were some of the best times ever and now without even realizing those times are all but over. I hate nostalgia and I love it at the same time.
I have never been more happy to say i kept my old xbox 360 and re downloading minecraft to visit the golden times of my childhood
This is truly sad. Life was so simple back then, we had absolutely no worries, no responsibilities, just enjoy life and play Minecraft. It’s genuinely sad having to grow up. I wish that we could go back when life was great.
I remember playing hours a day with my brothers creating towns and cities on Minecraft, but I can no longer do that anymore.

Today is the first time ive cried listening to any song. And this is it. Whwn i did, i cried HARD. Im going through a tough time right now, and this song just makes me think about all the good times i've had in the past playing minecraft. From my first sandstone restaurant, to my current modpack experiences with flans and the origins mod. It really makes me think hard. I want to go back to these times. The only worry was how many diamonds i could collect and if i could beat the ender dragon. Not now when i have the weight of family issues stacked ontop of me, constant anxiety and the current struggles i am going through. Things were so much simplwr back then.
Think about where all of us would be if Notch hadn't sat down one day and made that first version of Minecraft.

3 minutes and 36 seconds felt like an eternity. At the same time, it felt like a whole decade of my life flashed before my eyes. So quick, yet so precious.
I didnt start playing untill 2012, and i only played on pocket edition until I finally moved to nintendo switch in 2020. I never watched any old mc videos like stampy or the music videos, but I do remember playing with friends, my old houses, my pets, my diamond houses, and so much more.

I still remember my first minecraft world - a river cutting throught the valley which i spawned in, some sheep grazed in a forest, not far off. Paradise, I didn't realise at the time. Since then, I've grown up, lost all my worlds, including my first one, multiple times, and my origional account has been hacked. Only the memory remains. I hope I never forget it.
