A nice option for many who can’t afford or don’t want a foiling machine. It seems to be all the rage at the moment. The best thing I did was to invest in a cheap laser printer and laminator, unlimited designs that I can resize. No expensive plates required and the results are fantastic.
Rebecca, this tutorial was awesome! I don't want to invest in a bunch of "special dies" and another machine to foil, but I sure do like the look. Your cards were beautiful that you made from these!
Rebecca, this was really helpful. I am not going foil, but I do like the looks of this thermo web idea. I do have a die cut machine, so this could really work for me I also like the idea of the carrier. Way to Go!!!!
Another great video. I am glad I saw this as my order with all of those is due any day. I also have the Spellbinders birthday card kit so double bonus! Thanks so much sharing your cute cards and for the tutorial!
Hi Rebecca. I purchased some toner card fronts from deco foil, but they are not coming out properly. There is a “haze” that doesn’t look to be part of the actual design. Not sure if I can share here for you to see. I tried it several times (with/without carrier sheet) and can’t seem to figure it out. My laminator is also good and hot. And foil is color side up. Can you help?
I don't think anyone is better as far as permanence is considered. They are just different methods of getting the foil to stick down and both work great.
You can, but with any adhesives your better bet is to use parchment paper if you have it. The Therm O Web carrier sheets are even more slippery (and so non stick) than parchment paper, but it will do in a pinch!
Nice option but you’re still spending money. By the time you get multiple sheets you’ll be out of the same $ as you would if you just bought a foil machine…which lasts for years.

Therm O Web really hit it out of the park with these! Love that font too!
What a bright yellow for that sentiment.
These toner sheets are......PRECIOUS!!! Hugs my crafty Sister XOXOXO
I just love the font they used. It’s simple nice rounded letters. It’s really clean!
Great ideas. Cute cards. Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Love to all
Thank you for featuring an alternative to hot foiling.💕

thanks for all the tips and tricks. your🙃 outtakes at the end are appreciated!🙏🏼
Ahhhh. I get it now
This is awesome and cheaper than another machine. LOVE IT!
I definitely like this idea. I really don't want to invest in the glimmer foil machine, but laminator I can do.
Looks so easy. I want to spend one Day foiling to take to Florida!
Such a great video and awesome cards! Great option for me as i've not yet jumped on the foil train 😀
Wow! This is amazing. Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge.
Adorable cards
Thank you for sharing this video! As a new cardmaker, I am very happy to know that I can use my die cut machine or little laminator to do foiling.

This is so cool thank you for sharing now I don’t have to buy a machine
which method of foiling seems to consistently have the best results, as in permanence or resisting scratches/
I don't think anyone is better as far as permanence is considered. They are just different methods of getting the foil to stick down and both work great.
@@RebeccaKeppelYour answer surprised me, however I sincerely appreciate your reply. Thank you.
Could you do this with an iron?
I have never tried that and I know they don't recommend it so I am not sure the results would be as great.
For carrier sheet can you just use copy paper?
You can, but with any adhesives your better bet is to use parchment paper if you have it. The Therm O Web carrier sheets are even more slippery (and so non stick) than parchment paper, but it will do in a pinch!
😲WOW!!
What is a carrier sheet?
Susan Frost thank u so very much 4 asking that question. I was wondering the same thing. Have a great blessed day.
Are the words reusable or a one off use?
Auzzy Girl thank 4 asking if the words r 1 time use or reusable. I was wondering the same thing. Have a blessed day.
They're one off's. Expensive way of doing it
I’ve sure got a lotta comments to write to get your algorithms up tonight.
It’s watermelon night. Less calories too. Don’t ask me why though. No sugar, no carbs, just calories.
Seems like so many steps… compared to a minc machine or laminator that foils on toner printed sheets.
Nice option but you’re still spending money. By the time you get multiple sheets you’ll be out of the same $ as you would if you just bought a foil machine…which lasts for years.
That’s my thought also.
