In Pack of lies, a true story suspense film with Ellen Burstyn, Teri plays a Soviet spy...one of my favorite films ever given I'm a spy buff. Free to watch on youtube 😊
Ned Wynn writes about Teri from these days. He got extra work too, as he was connected to the biz by his father, Kennan Wynn, and grandfather, Ed Wynn. Teri was bright, with an Elaine May kind of thinking. And like to wrestle.
Oh the movies weren't "that bad!"... Imho some of the movies today are worse. I didn't like at least 10 of his movies, but some of these are my favorites. I had heard that Teri was in his movies, but I never recognized her! Thanks for showing her parts. 5 stars.
Alicia Gritz I love elvis movies some of them like barbara Eden with elvis you not pay me to watch, dona douglas be very hillbillies girl I would not watch that either, I hear elvis was losing his movie fans by mid sixtys and some of good writers left him
. no, No, NO !! They are such GREAT time capsules of the time......and as a bonus, they're FILLED with Elvis music (and BABES !!).....okay, some of it BAD Elvis music, but still... And yeah, great cinema, they AIN'T.....but is that REALLY what you're looking for when sitting down to watch an Elvis flick ?? .
The moves the 2 boys and 1 girl dancer do (starting at 2.10) is EXACTLY the same as in Pajama Party (the number on the beach), which isn't a case of the choreographer 'stealing,' as it was David Winters, and Ms. Basil's work in both.
Apparently she has enjoyed a good career, and life, but it was def altered. Her more recent interviews shows her upbeat spirit, sense of humor intact and doing the best she can. Cause she's a trooper and a class act. Love her.
theelvisguy, What did I say 2 months ago to deserve such a reply from you: that Elvis's movie career in the 1960's was the greatest waste of genuine talent in history? I can't recall and what I wrote has been removed (probably because it was the truth and the truth hurts). Well, I go with that: Elvis's 60's movies were a total waste of time and talent. He should've continued making great records.
12ut5 - Elvis hated making these movies - He knew this cookie cutter format was getting old He was trapped by the colonel Tom Parker I wish he would have done the Star is Born w/ Barbra Streisand You would have thought the Colonel had a picture of Elvis with a goat or something to keep him as his agent foor life! Elvis is still the King! R.I.P.
I think Elvis was meant to act in lighthearted roles like these movies and not in serious flicks. Elvis in the Voight role in Midnight cowboy? I just don't see it, he's just not that kind of entertainer.
Whoever put this together, bravo! You are a true fan!
Thanks for putting this together and pointing her out. Very nice.
Those Elvis movies may have been formula but they sure were a lot of fun!
I didn't know Teri Garr could dance like that.
Paul Catania she studied ballet when she was growing up, and started her show business career as a dancer.
@@tombennett3827 and did a lot of types of dance. The Coppola movie she danced a lot.
How cool is this
I very shock that Teri Garr in Elvis movies. I love watch all Elvis movies better back then is now. Movies were great. Thank you.
Back in the 80's when I was in my 20's, man I loved her!
Teri is awesome. Spoke highly of EP in later years. She has gone through some very serious health issue the last 10-15 years.
When bad things happen to amazing people, I think, "there is no God!" Poor Teri. She's spectacular.
Ann Margrock, Pelvis, and Terri Garr!

Great Garr clips!
Thanks for doing this.

Wow great job Teri ...wonderful 👏
Great video, very well done.
Beautiful woman - I had a crush on her growing up from the Clambake movie!
Never knew this. Great stuff.

I LOVE YOU TERI
What great trivia!
You probably already know this, but the girl in the red top at 2:10 is Toni Basil, who I would assume, probably also choreographed the whole shebang.
.
And for those of you who have NO clue who Toni Basil is, I present Exhibit 'A' .....

@@sdne1959 Thank you!!!!

very interesting, thank you
I pray Teri's health is better God Bless you Girl.. Jesus loves you💕❤️🙌
I can't stop loving her! She has/had all the moves & curves! Reminds me of my ex! *Cav*
2:29 is a blue and white checked gingham top.
DO THE CLAM was co- written by Dolores Fuller, ex-fiancé of Ed Wood Jr. of PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE infamy.
Teri garr❤️
I think Teri can also be seen during the "Clambake" song wearing green pants.
The moves the 2 boys and 1 girl dancer do (starting at 2.10) is EXACTLY the same as in Pajama Party (the number on the beach), which isn't a case of the choreographer 'stealing,' as it was David Winters, and Ms. Basil's work in both.
+U.N. Owen - Interesting observation. Thanks!
Any guy who doesn't love Teri Garr needs to be on medication.
yeah, and all those other dancers, too. NO wonder elvis didn't want to get married. my god. I can't even really imagine.
2:51 is the same top, and it sure looks like blue and white gingham to me.
Go Teri
Wow,che occhio elvisworldwide.
teri garr,miss frankenstein ,hihihi
I only counted 3 movies...
I've always been way more attracted to her than to Angelina Jolie. Too bad the damned decease didn't let her enjoy her life.
Apparently she has enjoyed a good career, and life, but it was def altered. Her more recent interviews shows her upbeat spirit, sense of humor intact and doing the best she can. Cause she's a trooper and a class act. Love her.
Just look for the girl with the best legs!
Who's also a little taller than the others.
"Do The Clam"? Not even Elvis could make that song work. Who wrote that mess? "Words & Music: S. Wayne/ B. Weisman/ D. Fuller".
Well, when your previous credits were with Ed Wood, you have to give Delores some props for getting work on Elvis films.

Do The Clam. Do It.

He was trapped by the colonel Tom Parker
I wish he would have done the
Star is Born w/ Barbra Streisand
You would have thought the Colonel had a picture of Elvis with a goat or something to keep him as his agent foor life!
Elvis is still the King! R.I.P.

I read years ago that Elvis was offered the role of Tony in "West Side Story", and that the Colonel turned it down on his behalf.
She's no Ann Margrock.
No and thank God..she can dance..margrock not so much.🤣
God, whaat bad movies, scenes and songs. That's when Elvis died: when he made those movie.
when these people dance it looks like they are being tased
