Thank you for this great illustration. My grandmother grew a beautiful flower garden and would put her daisies in several separate glass jars with food coloring creating pink, yellow, orange etc daisies! We loved watching the process as children
Shayda, this is really beautiful. I always appreciate how you show us how to sketch out your drawings first. This is such a happy painting to look at. I love it both ways, with and without the ink. I'm going to give this a try. Thank you so much!
I did this tutorial and it was easy and understandable from the get-go. Honestly, the loose leave techniques was just what I needed to let go and no paint within all the lines. I also have a very limited color pallet but observing a bit of your paint mixing made me discover new ways to mix my greens which is much appreciated. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I plan on following many more in my flower theme sketchbook.
I love daisies! You captured it perfectly. I love to watch you create beautiful things. Hope you are doing well. It won’t be long til little man arrives. So happy for y’all.
I used this tutorial for my first ever watercolor painting and I think it turned out great! Thanks for the easy-to-follow video, Shayda! Your work is stunning ❤️
Another TH-cam channel called you "The Queen of Floral Illustration" and I couldn't agree more! Thank you for another inspiring project for me to enjoy. I cannot wait to see how your new bundle of joy will enhance your creativity. I am so happy to be able to support you, your teaching, your beautiful art, and your family on Patreon. I want you to feel happy and secure so you can keep those creative juices flowing! Blessings.
Your video is amazingly clever and thorough, thank you. I am in the middle of drawing & painting Fleabane Daisies (talk about a large quantity of petals) & found this helpful.
Brilliant! I’m really battling with painting but my drawings have improved a lot with your help. I have added colour before with artist markers. Now I have the confidence to try with paint.
that's great to hear! starting with a drawing can certainly help to build your confidence with painting! That's how I got started with watercolors, I would always add an illustrated element. :)
I really love this technique,i feel more comfortable doing the drawing first then paint it with watercolor and the result is lovely... Thanks shayda you teach me a lof of thing..youre good teacher..i really like all your art styles ❤️
Hi shayda .... I so beautiful ... I just love your channel because all your art work is so perfectly imperfect .... All because of you I have learnt to enjoy the painting/drawing process before I used to be like my art piece must and should be perfect ... And because I used to think like that most of the times my art work would not be nice .... After I started enjoying it I feel my art work is the best .... Thankyou so much .... May is soon coming ... Please be careful and stay safe, happy and healthy .... I will pray that the baby is fine and nothing wrong will happen to you and your family ..... lot's of love from india ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know exactly how you feel! With shade his help I have reawakened a childhood love for sketching and color. And I don't worry about the outcome, I enjoy the process and it always comes out looking just fine. From America to india, let's keep enjoying!
I love your comment!! I couldn't agree more. I used to be obsessed with getting my pencil sketches perfect, so much so that my art became boring and I grew bored and stressed with the process. Once I started enjoying the creative process, my art started to change and I grew into my own artistic style. Wishing you all the best with your art!!
I love your illustrations and tutorials! Thank you so much for sharing your artwork! Everything is always gorgeous! What type and size of pen are you using?
