My favorite spring flower is the daffodil! Winters in New England can be very long and depressing, but once I see the daffodils blooming it cheers me right up!

My favorite flowers have to be snapdragons! Who doesn't love an interactive flower??? When I was little, my sister and I helped pick out the flowers we'd plant in our little outdoor garden. As soon as my mom showed me how to squeeze a snapdragon to make it "snap", I knew we had to have them in our garden!! They will forever be my favorite 💕

My favorite flowers to paint are daffodils and poppies but my favorite flower to pick or receive are tulips! my favorite spring flower.........its honestly a difficult question cause i just LOVE FLOWERS in general but i definitely get excited about double rock roses, lilacs and daffodils. they're just soo beautiful. its like a treat for the eyes ^^. unfortunately there's no spring where i live but, they do an end of the year flower showcasing where there's a LOT of spring flowers...... I am a long time subscriber Shayda and I love how you have such control when you paint. Watching you paint can make my worst day feel better. Thank you for posting so many brilliant videos. I love Daffodils and the reason for that is because they are one of the first flowers we see every year, also I love them because of their shape which makes me think of them as little loudhalers proclaiming the good news that spring has finally sprung! The most wonderful thing about them is that they are yellow which is my favourite colour. Yellow to me is the colour of joy and happiness! It'll.be difficult to remember 2020 spring. A friend of mine died today of Covid 19. And I'm so sad, but I know that many springs are coming, many blossoms, and new born times for all of us.
I don't want to fear this sickness, I really don't want to, I'm tired of living hiding myself, evading touch. I cannot go to his funeral, I cannot see his daughters. ...

My absolute favorite springtime flower is the forsythia bushes that burst forth in a glorious shock of yellow all over the Missouri Ozarks where I live.
I also absolutely adore all these flower tutorials, I'm a journaler...and I want to decorate my own journal pages...you make it look so easy and doable, thank you Shayda!
Those little blue flowers in early spring are called Chionodoxa!

Wow- you make this technique so easy to follow! My favourite spring flower would be the crocus because they are always the first sign that spring is here! I do an Art of Painting program in a long term care home and work particularly with a resident who will soon be 101- she would LOVE to learn how to make these flowers! If you could pick a winner it sure would be amazing to pick her! For her 100th birthday we painted a cherry blossom tree together and made small cards with 'her story of how she started painting' for her to hand out to all her guests at her 100th Birthday celebration. People were thrilled! What an amazing inspiration she is to many people!

I'm from the Philippines and although we don't have Spring here, my favorite spring flowers are tulips. For Valentine's, my dad always buys my sisters and I our favorite flowers and mine are sunflowers. But this year, he bought me tulips for the first time which is also the first time I saw one in person. I really hope I win the giveaway because I have been meaning to try watercoloring again but because of the lockdown in the country due to COVID, most of the stores that sell them are closed. So for now, I'm sticking on looking for inspiration when it comes to painting aka binge-watching your videos because you have been the most motivating watercolor teacher so far hehe.

Freesia is my favorite. They’re so sweet and pretty. And the smell is such dreamy.
I love and use the entire Inktense line, pencils, blocks and pans. I like that they are permanent when they are dry, especially for art journaling.

I love almost all spring flowers but my absolute favorite is wild sweet Williams. As a child I would go to my grandparents and I would ask to be dropped off as walk the last half mile and pick those flowers for my precious grandmother.

My favourite spring flowers are Lily-of-the-Valley because they are so fragrant. We called the tiny blue flowers in your tutorial ‘Forget-me-nots’ - probably an old fashioned name, but they were always so pretty & seemed to grow just about everywhere. My favorite spring time flower are definitely either tulips or daffodils. I have such fond memories of planting tulips in the front yard with my dad. I loved seeing them bloom year after year. I always loved seeing the variety of colors. Daffodils are a more recent love of mine. Daffodils are actually one of the first things I painted when I started with watercolors this last summer. I have them as the background on my phone : )
I've always loved roses. I'm so cliche. lol But they're so lush and classic, nothing else compares.
