I come to the garden alone. While the dew is still on the roses. And the voice I hear falling on my ear the Son of God discloses. And He walks with me and He talks with me. And He tells me I am His own; And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other has ever known.
Mom, Dad gave her some and not me. That's not fair. I want some too. 🐄 🐮😂 So glad Chris was able to come help with all that. 🙌🏻 It sure took a lot of work getting through the ground with all those roots.
Wanda I like your editing funny short @ 6:18, and then the dog barking/laughing! That was comical! God bless you Chris for helping! Praying that God will draw more people like Him or Her to help ya'll out, other homesteaders and ranchers out across the U.S. and the World, helping in the times of needs and protection for our food security! Praying for what could become a revival of souls to God, unplugging from the technocracy aka sorcery, and food increasing and being shared across the world! I pray that this happens and that ya'll will pray in agreement with this prayer! Amen! Matthew 18:18-20 Absolutely nothing is impossible when we put our trust in God!
Chris is getting a work out but getting the job done with the Hoss Tool Wheel. Hope the Cherokee Tans will grow but worth a try. And good to fill in places where there is no corn. Perhaps they'll get started and thrive somewhat protected from the sun. The other cows caught on and our running for theirs lol Danny got others going back the other way but he's fussing at Danny and wondering why he didn't get any lol Thanks for sharing. A joy to see what your up to and see those awesome cows.
I love seeing those contented cows. It’s awesome that your Grandson is there helping. My grandson comes to eat. 😂 He does actually help if my husband asks him, but Mike likes to work at his own pace, he’s almost 67 and has a pacemaker-defibrillator, still gardening, putting up fencing, making gates and structures for our sheep and goats. We also have over 40 hens and half dozen roosters, 4 ducks and 2 dogs. We’ve been blessed and take things day by day. We do have the Hoss wheel hoe purchased after we saw it on one of your videos a while back. Shalom!
Thank you, Chris for helping Danny and Wanda out. Much appreciated. It takes a lot of hard work to have a garden. I know I barely have time to keep up with all the weeds, but in the long run is so worth it. God bless you all..
What a hoot watching Chris as he worked up Mrs. Wanda’s corn. He is a strong young man!!! Great to have him helping. And that cow was really doing some ripping up the grass.
Danny, I think I missed an episode. Are the orange ribbons across the corn fields for deer? The cows look so happy in the pasture and the babies are so cute.
Oh Lord! Those Dexters are hilarious 😂 Smart too! The Danny corn is looking sharp! Are the orange strings throughout the field a way of measuring? I love ya'lls way of life. A far cry from how I was raised in the city of Los Angeles as a kid until I graduated from high school. But, my grandparents in TN lived like this. I remember as a child living with them, enjoying fields of corn everywhere the eye could see, many other vegetables growing, a huge barn, tractors, etc. On 67 acres of Tennessee fertile land. Utter peace!!! And boy, could my grandma prepare a huge spread of delicious food and desserts! God rest their souls. They were the best and how I miss them! Ya'll are in my prayers for even more blessings on this earth and the world to come! I appreciate all you do and your diligent and heart-felt sharing of your knowledge and wisdom. ❤❤❤❤ BTW Chris is a gem! God bless him 🙏 ❤️ and reward him for his hard work and input!
We had skips in our corn field too! Problem adjusting the planter. Great idea planting the Cherokee Tan Pumpkin. You have inspired me! Thank you and God Bless y'all!!
Exactly!! what I said the other day who needs a gym when you do gardening.. Karen them bags of soil and all that other stuff that you gotta do the amendments and the ranking and the weeding I think I spent almost a day in my garden. The other day I came back in. I was tired. …Super tiered!!🌱🌱🌱
I heard the dog alarm go off, lol, I have one of those. Keeps the chickens from going where I don't want them when they free range. Those wheel hoes are very very expensive and you still have to bust your butt. God bless, guys.
Had thoughts about buying one of the push cultivators, but seeing that is too much for this 82 year old. Will be sticking to cultivating with my garden tractors. Thanks for the great video. Blessings to you folks.
LOL You did the 'No till' wrong.... My garden is so easy to work, and it was pure clay when I started. It's really only 1 season old, tho I did bring the soil, from my previous garden site, over. I just add 4 inches of decomposing wood chips to the top every year.
I would be glad to check other sources but most have sold out. But thank you for your response. Is a Cherokee tan bush pumpkin the same as the heirloom Cherokee tan that Wanda and Danny sell?
@@lori282smith2 I don’t think so. Their Cherokee tan pumpkins are vining plants. For what it’s worth, I have read that the Seminole pumpkin is similar to the Cherokee tan, but they are not the same. I just did a search and found them offered on Etsy as authentic heirloom pumpkin seeds from the Trail of Tears survivors in Talequah, Oklahoma.
Love that wheel hoe !!! No till only works if you have copious amounts of compost to put in the surface of the ground......which is why I have only a small no till bed....and it works well.... BUT..... you have to be able to make huge amounts of compost......I live compost because I can use the tractor....till in fall leaves mixed with chicken and rabbit manure.....making compost requires a fair amount of hand labor .... flipping and turning.....my body isn't up to that anymore.....
If’n the Cherokee tan pumpkins traditionally climbed up dead trees to get to the sun, maybe they’ll climb up the Danny corn. I’d believe that the critters would NOT like to tangle themselves in that.
I’m sorry I’m 71 and no way will I use one of them I went to harbor freight and bought a mini tiller it cultivates 9 inch path and for the wider paths I use my Troy built tiller or my tractor
You don't have a proper no-till garden!! No-till does not suck. It's much easier than what you are leading people to believe. A no-till soil is NEVER BARE. Our soil is not dry, hard, and crusty. It is friable, full of organic matter, nearly weed free. It smells amazing due to the microbial community. I went from compacted clay gumbo soil to being able to easily push a sharpshooter its full depth in just a few years without removing turf, tilling, double-digging or broadforking. No-till is a set of practices nothing remotely like what that garden is. You have a lot of influence! Please don't discourage people from a very regenerative and wholesome method. They may be misled by what you are calling a "no-till" garden plot.
Horrible supposition. Given the results of no till on Pecan Grove ground, y’all might have to move the fences temporarily and deep plow the garden areas - at least to cut the tree roots. 😵💫

Lord, bless CHRIS for being a helping hand to Mr. Danny & Wanda!
Hello. I let my grandson harvest some taters. I canned my first batch yesterday. Have a blessed day. Much love 💖
I can’t get over how beautiful Pecan Grove is!
Mom, Dad gave her some and not me. That's not fair. I want some too. 🐄 🐮😂
So glad Chris was able to come help with all that. 🙌🏻 It sure took a lot of work getting through the ground with all those roots.
your strappen young lad chris has a beautiful smile
Simply beautiful at Pecan grove!!!!
Those fences! The things we do to keep deer and critters out of the garden. It must be exciting to be planting at Pecan Grove.
Your corn field is really looking nice & growing tall. 😊
There's two kind of strong gym strong and country Strong, 💪

❤My Daddy planted Sweet Corn, Pole Beans & Pumpkins & Squashes together like the 3 sisters. Good eating for sure!
There is 1000's of houses around my garden spot, middle of a sea of subdivisions. Deer still cleaned me out in one night!
GOD BLESS YOU CHRIS for helping Mr. DANNY and Miss WANDA.

Ha ha! I have a single wheelhoe that is from the 1950’s and it works your shoulders and upper arms but does a great job. Love the wheelhoe action.
👏👏👏
Love seeing the cows and y'all's beautiful gardens/land. Have a wonderful day bro. Danny, sister Wanda.😊❤
You should take a picture of Danny in the corn field.
The cows look happy as well. Hope y’all get some rain.
Morning’ ❤
What a hoot watching Chris as he worked up Mrs. Wanda’s corn. He is a strong young man!!! Great to have him helping. And that cow was really doing some ripping up the grass.
If Chris wants to come to MO or send friends, sure could use the help! Good to see your garden is doing well.
I'm glad that you have Chris to help you. We all need help sometimes. Especially as we get older.
I am so Happy Chris is able to help you! We all need one another! Have a wonderful day. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😀😀
❤Pecan Grove is looking great! Those Bean, Corn & Tater plants look great. Peanuts too! Praying you have an abundat harvest!

Hello from central Illinois
We had skips in our corn field too! Problem adjusting the planter. Great idea planting the Cherokee Tan Pumpkin. You have inspired me! Thank you and God Bless y'all!!

You done tricked them good Danny 😊
Glad that you both have a strong young man to help you. 😊
Good morning, again.
Thank you Chris, for helping others. It’s nice to have good friends like you. Love the cows God is good all the time

I started my Cherokee tan pumpkins inside and I just planted the seedlings outside … it has flooded all night long , I hope they are ok
Love love PG. I would have to stay there even if it meant camping out. Homestead paradise.
We love you guys❤ You are appreciated so much, be well and be blessed✝️🕊️⭐️
It looks like Mr Chris worked up a sweat in that hard ground.
I use a high wheel cultivator to weed my garden it makes it a lot easier
I feel so sorry for those poor cows. They look like they never get anything to eat. (not) I love watching you guys with the cows.
Blessings to you all.
Good video today
Hard labor right there.
That corn ground looked just as dry as mine is . I wish my corn would pop on up . Got a few here and there
It's a work out I use mine.
LOL You did the 'No till' wrong.... My garden is so easy to work, and it was pure clay when I started. It's really only 1 season old, tho I did bring the soil, from my previous garden site, over. I just add 4 inches of decomposing wood chips to the top every year.
We tried using the wood chips here but had to dig them up and haul them off. Termites and imported fire ants took over the whole garden.
id like to know what soil class that is. have you looked it up on usda soil map?
Love those 🐄🐮❤
Hi Miss Wanda. How are your chicks doing?
They're growing like a weed.
Would love to have some Cherokee tan pumpkin seeds
Danny and Wanda may have some for sale if they get a good harvest. There are other sources online.

I noticed that the welfare cattle were giving a respectful distance to the hot wire.
If’n the Cherokee tan pumpkins traditionally climbed up dead trees to get to the sun, maybe they’ll climb up the Danny corn. I’d believe that the critters would NOT like to tangle themselves in that.
Why didn't you till it first?
It was tilled in the spring.
You guys be careful around those cows. Everyone loves cows and horses but they can knock you down in a skinny. ❤
🦋🇺🇸👍corn is looking good 🙏🙏Praise Jesus and the cows are waiting for feed 😂
His arms are going to be hurting tonight, that looks like to much work lol
Chris says he well deserved his 30 dollars an hour today.

Thats too much work.
If what you have to eat is what you grow, it’s not too much work.
I got tired watching Chris. That was hard work. Yep. Don’t need a gym living on a farm.

I agree "no till" SUCKS!! I'll stick to the Bible “Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns” (Jeremiah 4:3)😂❤ thus says the Lord!!
That is a good workout. Things are coming up good. looking great
