In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Sian was robbed here. Her concept was fun and creative, and what’s more powerful than creating a living thing? There was even some showmanship to it, easily the most enjoyable of the sketches next to Joes.

Could not agree more. The actors showed some imagination with a lot of showmanship. Giving to charity was useful but dull. No imagination. Dropping bricks on ducks and babies was beyond my comprehension. Sian and Joe should have been marked the same.
It is similar to the toilet paper mummy. Greg judges the easy result (a guinea pig, a toilet paper mummy) rather than the actual point of it (bringing a stuffed animal to life, the mummy being the fakeout).
That said, Greg is still so much better at judging than TM NZ that you have to forgive him sucking at nuance.
I respectfully disagree, however, I think that if Sian earned 2 points then Lou’s effort definitely should’ve been worth a measly 1.

For a second there, I thought Joe was going to genuinely set fire to part of the Taskmaster house. Definitely powerful and if the didn't let it get too far, probably less damaging than some of what they've done.

I've tried to explain this show and its appeal to people, and that's roughly what it sounds like
Definitely for me the Guinea pig was the best and most powerful one. Completely Unexpected, very different and a very different context and interpretation to the others. Plus in half an hour they got a toy Guinea pig then a real one? That's some good planning and support there. Siân Definitely should have won! ❤

The scoring will never be fair. Sometimes the winner always gets five points and Greg says "I can't believe I'm giving it five points," and sometimes the winner doesn't get five points, like the fridge magnet. Hugh Dennis' ringtone dance was awesome and deserved more points. The team structure of 3 vs 2 is NEVER fair.
But that's just the nature of the show! It's never actually going to be fair, Greg has said as much.
Yes the '3 vs 2 is NEVER fair'. But it's unfair for different, fun reasons. For example giving Ed Gamble David Baddiel as a partner!

@@johnathanh2660 That's also probably the only example to date a live team task has ordinarily favourited the team of 2; for the others, if they're not turn based, the team of 3 has a big advantage simply by having more people, which was super evident in series 15

Well it depends *entirely* on the task.... tying themselves to each other and then crossing a finish line, shouting/miming film names across the Thames.
In the end you'd actually have to count up who 'won' these tasks compared to who the weakest contestants are...
It's kind of charming that the contestants get so into it they forget that it is a comedy show, and not a genuine competition.
I think we all know how Lou was going to finish that sentence.
i would have found the breaker box and turned off the power to the Task Master House at the mains switch. Shutting down the show for a bit with just a pinky finger? Powerful.

I always enjoy the creative rule definers... For instance, anyone of them could have taken that little finger off the fake hand and said that they own it and then gone outside and just thrown it into the air 10 feet up, or rolled over it with a car, or shot it out of a compressed air cannon...
Greg was not having that match pun. Gets enough of that shit from Alex. Surprised Alex was put off by it.
In the end, no one could match Joe, though.

Thousands of years ago, guinea pigs were the size of a modern day SUV. Could you imagine if they were still that size? Of course they would still be pet friendly but where would you keep a guinea pig that size?
In the Norwegian version someone did really create life as part one of these tasks. 😂
I created life the other week. I forgot to wash up a mug, and what was my cup of relaxing hot chocolate evolved into something quite offensive. 😂

Lou was robbed. The ball and brick falls were much more power (work over time) than any other contestant. Of course, it would have been better to go around turning appliances on and turning a car on to take for a spin up some hills with some heavy stuff in the back

Lou was a terrible choice as a contestant as was Paul. They both should have been subbed out. Paul due to injury and Lou due to just being awful with this group

Easily the worst series or up there with it. Very little chemistry between the contestants, and struggled to find a funny one amongst them
Are Paul and Ian actually serious ? They were terrible, so were Joe and Lou, I mean Joe knocked a curtain over and they added powerful music

No offense to these guys but id like to some very smart very competitive people do taskmaster challenges. I love the comedy but i want to see what an engineering genius would do for each task to get the absolute best result for each task
Phil Wang from series 7 is a qualified engineer and although he didn't do as badly as people say, it didn't exactly work out for him. Series 14 sounds like it would be right up your alley
Kinda agree, BUT, keep in mind that engineers doing their job probably have a long time to think and test. This is a very different setting.
