I mean. In DPP, The Elite 4 itself is a fuckin joke. Two of them are some of the most pathetic Elite 4 of all-time. Cynthia's the only tough fight. Kalos level Elite 4, then with a hard fight at the end. It's this game where it's actually kind of hard.
I'm astounded this doesn't have more views. This was so fun! I love the bell sound effect every time you hit someone with Frisbee, that was probably my favorite running gag. XD (Also Frisbee is such a great name for a Bronzor, dunno how you came up with it but good job.)
I loved the Frisbee gag and Brongzong is such a good mon, you kinda have to have it on your team due to to it's effectiveness. The better ability is definitely levitate however so I feel for you getting the heatproof ability since crits just say "oh your resistant to flames? Crits don't care". But I loved this video you did so well.

So I watched this for the first time the other day. This is one of the few “first nuzlocke” videos to make me burst out laughing. Especially with the stuff with “HIPEEEEEEEEE _hi_ “, the Bronzong gags with the bell sound effects, and “Shut UP old man it’s time to do math!” Well done sir. Hope you do another nuzlocke

Great work! The animation is pretty good for three months of production. I like the overall style, a lot of attention to detail, and the writing was great. Good balance between comedic and dramatic. Good humor (damn I'm such a Zoomer, the bell noise was funny every time). All in all a fun time. (So cool that you got a Shiny Golbat, on my first successful Nuzlocke (Platinum) I got a Shiny Zubat as well!) PS: Nooo you got me (9:20)
So, yes, Roselia can probably outspeed Sudowoodo, but Rock hits Grass for neutral damage. I can't explain the thing dying after Stone Edge. It probably got poisoned by Poison Point, one of Roselia's Abilities.
This is easily worth a sub and like. Though the rules you ended up going for are actually pretty standard ones. (No duplicates, static encounters count as the encounter, etc) Granted, not overlevelling actually puts it closer to a harder Nuzlocke, since for those, you're only allowed to match the level of the lead of the next boss fight (Rival, gym leader, evil team, etc) not use items in battle and play on set rather than switch. 14:17 Yeah. I use rock head head smash tyrantrum, and can confidently say that head smash is so op that if it does neutral damage and I have a super effective coverage move I still use head smash because it will do more damage.
like every bit with bronzor/zong is so funny. there's one hell of a joke with barry reading the book about context in the library but I'm a bit stumped I really like how all the pokemon were drawn. and I think this was a pretty cool nuzlocke even if you didn't win.
Nuzlocke is when you defeat plot opponents without losses, but a random green monkey that jumped out of the bushes and did not let you get out of the battle kills your golurk, and marovak in the next location deprives you of the floetta that you have cherished since the beginning of the game as your own child. I think it was a bad idea to call golurk Atlantis, so his death was even comical.
For each gym I had always had one ace: 1: Monferno sweeps all the rock types with power up-punch 2: Monferno with flame wheel destroyed the grass types with no difficulty 3: Staravia killed all the fighting types apart from Lucario who gastrodon ended with fissure 4: Rosalia Giga drained the hell out of all of the water types 5: I caught a haunter for just this gym 6: Infernape Fire blasted all of the steel types till they were just a puddle of molten steel. 7: you can guess what infernape did to the ice types. 8: gastrodon fissured and ancient powered the electric types until they were all lights out.
I started on Gen 4 so Diamond and Pearl will always have a place in my heart. That double battle in the rain with Gyrados is known for deaths in nuzlockes, same with the double battle on route 210 on the way to Celestic Town. Loved seeing Bronzor getting some use, honestly an underrated pokemon. Also 10/10 nicknames
never underestimate sinnoh's elite four, especially in bdsp, they are all ev and iv trained with competitive movesets. my first nuzlocke run through of brilliant diamond, i needed my whole team just to deal with cynthia and even then when i thought i should've outsped and 2 shot her mons, she outsped and one shot mine, and she turn 1 swords danced her garchomp that outsped everything on my team at the time and nothing on my team was tanking that. i had to restart and set up on her milotic with roserade just to have a chance at beating her. she's cracked
