Glad to see you are pushing forward with the boat. Really hopeful that you will continue with the adventure. Slow & steady wins the race. Fair winds ~ S/V Cork.
hi Trevor , good to see you back buddy , thanks for the upload man i really needed a distraction , it will be really interesting to see how those motors push your boat , mine recently broke loose in a storm and hit a bridge , it snapped the mast but i think i have sourced another to fix her & im thinking of starting a channel about restoring her & touring around looking at other boats & area's in the uk , you being the inspiration for it , let me know what you think , all the best
I wonder if you plan to make the whole catamaran solar like a guy named Dave. He put a solar canopy over the entire cabin. The shade from the canopy eliminates his need for air conditioning and the solar powers the motors and appliances on the boat.
Man I watched you when you first began this whole adventure, and I have to admit I was skeptical. Great to see you made it all the way, and I'm stoked to see where you go from here!
Glad to see you posting again Trevor! It was cool to watch the videos and see how far you got! Haha Peal and I made down to St. Augustine but that was where our trip on the Restless ended sadly! Been dreaming about getting back out on the water and traveling like that again someday! Wishing you well from Cali!
Hey buddy, so glad to see you back and active here! I so enjoyed viewing that epic journey you shared with us and have been hoping for more of your adventures. You mentioned heading for CA and that’s where I live. Any ideas as to just where you will be ending up? Would enjoy meeting you!
Good to see a post from you, your really doing some traveling, have fun in California, where in California are you going, boat is looking good, til next time, bye, and happy valentine's day 👍🙏❤️💖🛥️
There is a reason that the owner is getting rid of those E-Tech 4POD outboards. They are garbage. I bought a pair and one functioned for about a year and the other only 6 months. They always had trouble initializing. I spent more time messing with those things than all my outboards combined. Vendor is in Poland and sent me one used controller that did not fix the issue and then abandoned me after I spent over $10K. I still have them in my scrap pile - you are welcome to them!
How about filling in the details? Are these electric motors for "Caw Caw" or are you getting a different vessel? Also what are you going to CA for?? How would you keep a charge on the bank of batteries for the electric motor system?
Well bro Man was that a 20 minute video of how to hook up trolling motors? Ha ha so it looks like you got a new boat that’s good or was that footage of them installed on the previous boat? I have a lot of questions as I started following you because I have a Iroquois and I’m in the process of Coosa board repairs and electric motor refits. Keep up the adventurous lifestyle for sure! Missing the Iroquois. Yours truly curiously awaiting closure, :-)
Wasup bro it’s Chris from planet fitness glad to see you made your stops safe hope you do well we need to hit that Hawaii bar🤙🏼 hope to see ya again bro
Chris!!! Hey man!! Yea it all worked out but just barely. Was a crazy freaking adventure. I'll be back there in the summer and we gotta go to that bar omg lol!!
Oh buddy, hope you're proficient with electric circuits. But totally an awesome addition to the cat. If I were in your area, and not Southern California, I'd be willing to help with the install. What part of California are you heading to?
So they are 48 volt. What’s you battery plan lead acid or lithium???? I’m sure there is some kind of solar charging system in the works. Should be fun wiring that up !!!!
Hi you'll Lost track of the channel. I looked back over a few episodes. Jess is so fun and positive. I just thought up a new ending for OZARK. You guys are Ruth's long lost cousins and you head home for Whit's funeral. And you convince her to head down to FLA. Telling her Revenge is Best Served Cold. Just think of all the Marina that you guys could be on the lamb along the ICW.
I had to laugh. In the first two minutes, the guy said multiple times things needed to be installed properly. Almost as if he knows Trevor does nothing properly.
Bro, why complicate life for yourself? You have seen how reliable ,durable and simple an outboard can be , you have a ton of other boat projects you need to work on without adding this electrical achilles heel.
Should've stuck with the outboard... I"ve got $20 that says you'll never get these outdrives working. Love you buddy, but you're waaaaay out of your league with this one.... Do you even own a screwdriver?
Interesting..but are you gonna just keep putting up this old footage...I enjoyed your content..but the lag in time..really is annoying..are they for a new boat? As I know that you sold the old cat. Hope to see some more New adventures soon.
I'm surprised Mercury didn't give you a sponsorship considering how far you went on that small motor, lol. Glad to see you posting again.
So glad to see a new post. These E-motors will be a great addition to Ca-Caw.
Glad to see you are pushing forward with the boat. Really hopeful that you will continue with the adventure. Slow & steady wins the race. Fair winds ~
S/V Cork.
Looks fun. Putting them together yourself is the best way. Save money, but more importantly you know how to troubleshoot it. Good video, thanks.

So how goes the electric motor install? When will you be back on the water
Good to see a post from you, your really doing some traveling, have fun in California, where in California are you going, boat is looking good, til next time, bye, and happy valentine's day 👍🙏❤️💖🛥️
Great to see you. Congrats on motor
Thanks Cynthia!
Nice score !!!!!
Great to see you haven't given up. Are you going to have loads of solar panels powering all this?
Good God that was as clear as mud

I'd never thought I'd say this but I'm lost... lol
Cool stuff though we'll miss the outboard : )

When will you launch the boat?
So they are 48 volt. What’s you battery plan lead acid or lithium???? I’m sure there is some kind of solar charging system in the works. Should be fun wiring that up !!!!

Are those 4 pod or 7 pods?
James said you sold Ka Kaw to a friend of his. What boat are you going to put these in?
Welcome, back.

Hi Trevor, This must be an old video. It appeared Feb 12 but there is no snow on the ground and people are wearing t-shirts and shorts.
Hi you'll
Lost track of the channel. I looked back over a few episodes. Jess is so fun and positive. I just thought up a new ending for OZARK.

i was so happy when i got my electric motor for the dingy. but it ddnt take long it are amp eaters and wasnt practical for me as liveaboard.
Have to turn the volume all the way up to hear anything
Anything happening with this project?
Those going on Ka-Ka? Where is Ka-Ka?
I had to laugh. In the first two minutes, the guy said multiple times things needed to be installed properly. Almost as if he knows Trevor does nothing properly.
Yea he has seen the channel lol
Bro, why complicate life for yourself? You have seen how reliable ,durable and simple an outboard can be , you have a ton of other boat projects you need to work on without adding this electrical achilles heel.
Give it time... they all find out the hard way and come back to IC engines.
7 nautical miles...recharge 24 hrs...repeat.
@@HughJass448 I’m a fan of electric… but unless you have a ton of money to do it right; you’re prob not far off there sadly 😂
Good luck with that, but this was like 2.5 years ago
What happened to your girl miss hearing her funny voice
Should've stuck with the outboard... I"ve got $20 that says you'll never get these outdrives working. Love you buddy, but you're waaaaay out of your league with this one.... Do you even own a screwdriver?
