I'm less worried about your fuel trailer than my habit of having a trailer full of spare wheels and jerry cans with a ton of stuff in the boot. Hit a cactus with that and everything explodes in a 2 fps nightmare.
5-10% alcohol to your fuel, makes a little more power in the engine. Info for if/when multiplayer gets added, and you feel like having a race. Another 5% on oil only if you have 10% alcohol in your gasoline blend. leaving the 90/10 blend of gas/alcohol is hard on your engine. It will burn oil and run hard the further you lower the gasoline %. I have destroyed an engine on a gas/alcohol/oil 80/15/5. Suprise me, didn't think engines could be destroyed in game. Adding gas, oil, alcohol to your diesel only works if the combined of the three is less than 5%. Have you tried the new R button feature? you can hold a box of bulets, aim at a box of bullets, and reload bullets into the one in hand using R. Same applies to paint and cleaner. You can attach the end of a hose, to the end of a hose, and the other end to another end of a hose.
I did a few tests with different alcohol levels in the fuel, and didn't get any more power, only less. At best I got the same power as pure gasoline. Haven't tested with diesel yet. But what I found was that alcohol can make the fuel last longer.
19:45 you can run the cars on as low as 75% gasoline, but with reduced power. Also, it's easier to push and roll the barrels on the ground vs carrying them when they're heavy
I like how Alex hears a noise, but I don't. Then when I hear a noise, he doesn't. Haha. Again, I am really loving and enjoying this series. Can't wait for the next part.
You can replace the front and rear bumpers with that fascia from the roof of the servo. If you fill the slots with lights they will also work. Also, you can balance the barrel on the tongue of the trailer, hop on top of the trailer, crouch down to reach the barrel, then lift it up to dump it into the trailer.
I didnt know there were regular busses added In my current play through I started with a station wagon, found a bendy bus, and got stuck with the bus when my car broke; and now i have a flatbed truck with a bus engine crammed into it Also, you can drain engines and radiators to clear them out by opening the bottom plugs
The long drive and Landlords super are two games i really want to play now, you can stick your ray traced 8k hyper realistic games where the sun doesn't shine ..... #

That has to be the least loot I've seen in one of those workshops. I've been collecting truck parts in my trailer ready for when I find the truck. Not sure if you know this but when driving you can press "c" to view the car in 3rd person. It can make it easier to spot things.
@@Triamgle Last night after watching this I found a complete truck (with camper back) I'm cleaning it up & poured in my 20ltr of fuel and drove off. Now up to 95 ltr of diesel. Watch out the brakes aren't the best lol.

The black bulky bumper you found laying around on top of the roof of the building at the beginning of the video. That bumper has 4 light inserts. You can fit up to 4 lights on the bumper and install the bumper to the car. The lights will work alongside your car headlights. That bumper can work as a rear bumper too and yes the lights will work even at the back. Any car headlight will fit into that style bumper. It’s useful if you drive at night and want crazy lighting.
One word... Katana. REALLY good against rabbits now! Also, that VAZ car in the garage at the beginning is the BEST car of all of 'em. At least for its engine. Of course you could've just swapped the engine. You can use those Dacia's grill/headlight holders as bumpers and put the lights on it and it'll give you moar headlights. The part you found at the dinner and later on at the workshop and didn't knew what it was is a tank hatch for certain versions of the truck. Useful to get on the roof of the truck via the passenger side seat. Not all version of the truck have 'em tho. Just like some have smokestacks and other have a normal exhaust. Vehicles can SOMETIMES spawn at watch towers. The part you found in the workshop that look like a flap is some kind of window blocking for a version of the truck, that I guess, was a troop transport truck. I think that the engine you found in that workshop is the engine for the VAZ and thus, the best engine (except for the bus and the truck engine) IMO, the truck engine's better than the bus one tho, but if the truck you find has a rusty engine, it's better to switch it for a better bus engine. I didn't try a car engine in that truck however, maybe it work.
In the recent update on June 5th 2021, you can now attach baskets to ANYTHING as well as any items you put in them, will become "one" object with the basket (provided you don't crash) its great for carrying around your bottles of cleaner, and sponges and brushes.
I've been playing this game recently. I now have a fully restored truck with that trailer carrying around 1500L of diesel. It's fun being set for life.
This is a great series, mainly due to the silliness of Alex...but also, so happy you were able to find offensive blue for your vehicle :) Failrace is easily my favourite channel.
Well, that "ship bow points to road" is a load of hogwash. Just went out testing it, just five minutes off the road, I could still see the road in binocs, and the ship would have tried to send me out into the middle of nowhere if I had followed the bow.
Great series! Your series made me get the game. I did some testing and figured out if you keep the engine running while sleeping, it isn't using that much fuel. During my testing, one sleep cycle used 0.1L with the car and 0.5L with the bus. Unless you're really low on fuel, you don't need to worry. I'm carrying 15-20 barrels of diesel in my bus, so fuel is the least of my concerns. Also, idling the engine scares the rabbits away, which gives you some peace of mind when you're working. I never turn my engine off as there's never any real reason to.
Get that engine into your car. Since last time you checked there was water in your current one (maybe a leaking headgasget simulation). This one looks better.
He accidently put water in it when he was trying to fill the radiator at the start of this particular car's odyssey. It started with a liter of alcohol in the oil pan as well.
You can get away with about 80 or 85% petrol in your tank and have diesel, alcohol, or oil in the rest. You can get away with an even lower percentage but it will start to damage performance and cause you to stall. Just make sure you don't get any water or blood in your tank or performance will suffer a lot. Also happy to see another episode
Slight note. The Truck is called IFA it is a hungarian truck and it is currently the best vehicle in the game. Strongest engine. Really fast. And if you can get the box version you are in luck! Also i recommand to pick up the bike baskets cause you can fixate to the car an whatever you put in it it wil stay inside it no matter what.
FYI: You can also use the key 'Q' to look around while holding an object. You can mount/fill items while carrying them. It makes things a lot easier. Also, great video! Keep it up!
if you're worried about having the wrong mixture in your coolant tank, you can detatch the coolant tank and empty it by opening the lid and flipping it over. you can do the same with the car engines. both of them can be removed and re-attached as easily as a wheel. if you really wanted to you can put a Car engine in a bus (i did it, do not recommend)

The update broke my previous TLD game too - engine sticking through the front windscreen, trailer doing weird acrobatics etc :/ So I had to restart from scratch, but no matter. After a few tries, managed to get a Lada Riva (aka Slav-mobile) in the garage again, like in my previous game. Hi Alex. One thing that I've noticed and has worked for me, when you find a workshop/auto shop, you can get on the roof by opening the door all the way and use the door to jump your way onto the roof. Edit: I found the truck in the game. It's the same as the GTA Vetir, minus the canopy cloth on the back and the back end looks like it's big enough to fit a car if you can get one up into the back. The broom in the game is a magic broom and you can fly around on it like a witch. Or wizard in your case lol. Also the computer keyboard can be used with radio towers. You hook it up to the strange screen located at the base of the radio tower. I’m not sure what happens. Maybe send a message.
Driving with a wheel makes life alot easier, and you can still use keyboard and mouse for walking about, the broom however still wins for janky Driving/ flying.

If you press the "C" key while in a car you can go to the chase cam. It's much easier when towing a trailer.

Alex isn’t too bright. He poo pooed the engine as well in the workshop which is better then the one he currently has.
That doesn't seem to make a huge difference as he will carry the diesel trailer and have a 60 mph speed limit until he finds a truck or a proper bus
That plastic bumper on the roof can mount 4 lights, in addition to the cars nor al lights.
i love the long drive but it’s so painful to go through all the efforts to fix a bus for it to not be able to go uphill

I found 2 .357s in the Diner, one in the dumpster, the other in the kitchen.
You could've put big wheels on the back of the trailer and the small wheels on the front of the trailer

the rear seats will fit a barrel of oil or diesel. Also why are your workshops empty. Mine are fully loaded and they lag out my game

No, the ships side are angled so you can't climb it. Which is a shame, imagine the kind of loot you could find on the deck and in the cabins.

I have been able to climb ships in my own games when they spawn at the right angle but there is nothing on decks when I explored one.
I managed to get up onto one. There was nothing there and I died trying to get down.

Last time i parked my car in workshop & slept on bed in corner, saved & exited the game. After loading it spawned a lot of stuff inside & on the car.

Should have put the larger tires on the car if you could have.
If you place the 2 front wheels from the trailer, on the back of the car, and the 2 back wheels fron the car onto the trailer it´ll work even better
