Wanda Maximoff Throws Monica Rambeau out Of Westview Scene [No BGM] | WandaVision

- Captain Monica Rambeau, an agent of S.W.O.R.D., is sent to help FBI agent Jimmy Woo with a missing person case in Westview, New Jersey. Jimmy explains to Monica that he can not physically enter the town due to an unknown psychic force. They discover a hexagonal static CMBR field surrounding the town, which Monica is pulled into.
Wanda gives birth to twin boys with Geraldine's assistance. But after Geraldine (Captain Monica Rambeau) mentions Ultron, Wanda becomes suspicious and interrogates her about her knowledge. Meanwhile, Wanda notices that Geraldine is wearing a pendant with a sword emblem. So she violently casts Monica out of the town. Monica wakes up at the S.W.O.R.D. base and finds herself surrounded by agents. She tells them that Wanda is controlling the illusion.
Vision returns to the house and finds that Geraldine has disappeared, but Wanda explains that she "had to rush home". When Wanda goes back, she sees her husband Vision appear as he did when he died. Horrified, she restores the illusion, then tells him she has everything under control.

It really is quite unsettling to look back at these episodes to realize what’s really going on here with all the different people in town being forced to participate in these sitcoms against their will.
Rewatch episode 8. It was a very sad colorless town. She thought she was making everything better-giving the piano man who was out of a job purpose in episode 2, giving the sad woman eating alone a husband. As soon as she realizes what she was doing, she let them go. She truly thought she was making everything better.

Kind of, Agatha was asking how she did the spell not if she was aware of it. Wanda didn’t know how she did it, for her it kinda just happened. She thought she was in her own little world without harming anyone
She just knew that the residents should only knew about westview
It got stronger as more interruptions appeared. Near the end, she couldn't keep up the illusion anymore. Not that she wasn't able to sustain it(heavens know how powerful Wanda is), but she wasn't able to trick herself into believing it was real anymore.
She was fully aware what she was doing. She just didn't want her fantasy to be ruined. She knew way back when the agent came up out of the sewer as the beekeeper.

@@elidia6167 I watched it but in the last episode she becomes Wanda's "Simp" and her comment about "They never know what you've sacrificed" doesn't make sense. Wanda takes those poor people in Westview as her hostages for her grief and forced them to live in her own fantasy world! As much as I don't like Hayward, but he's right but I don't like how he tried to shoot her kids.
Hopefully, Monica has a better character development in Captain Marvel 2 when she's reunited with Carol because she's still has grudge to her.

Being in Westview hex is like dreaming. You don't have the ability to know that you're dreaming. But sometimes in dreaming, we all get this scenes like made us realize we're dreaming or it is not real. For example you met your grandma in your dream but you wonder cause she's dead in real life.
I wonder if Wanda would’ve responded like that if Dr. Strange or even Clint came into the Hex to talk to her to get her to stop controlling the town.

I think is so interesting when Wanda starts speaking of her brother her accent changes to her real one, Russian, rather than the fake which she uses for the fake reality that she created. Anytime that wanda thinks of the past or becomes grief stricken (which is that same thing for her) she reverts back to her Russian accent.

She is OP character, I think more powerfull than gods like thor or odin, simply because she can manipulate space and time. I dont think the whole agency from loki can do much, becasue she creates her own space time bubble and can do the same within the agency. The writers didnt think this one true. They actually created a true god character.

still do not understand, why was Monica the only normal person (besides Agatha) in hex who could escape from Wanda's control by mentioning Ultron while everyone trapped in the hex kept in Wanda's control without being able to mention anything outside Westview?
Monica knew about Ultron but not the rest. However others were subconsciously aware that Wanda was behind this but they were forbidden or too scared to say anything to her. Throughout the series u can see that.

There’s some instances where you can see the townsfolk act strange or break character for brief seconds but that’s all due to wanda being reminded of the real world and how her life story ended particularly here Wanda is reminded of her twin brother who died that takes her out of her element and in turn causes Monica to regain her conscious of that particular subject but it only worsens as she continues to remind wanda of her real life by mentioning ultron another traumatic subject she wants to forget
