For anyone curious about how this weapon works: Instead of having a two handed or onehanded moveset, it instead has a sheathed stance and unsheathed stance. While in sheathed stance, the ash of war is a bow, making your next attack deal significantly more damage. Doing a heavy attack in either stance does a parry, with the same timing as the parry from Dark Souls 3. Charged heavy in the sheathed stance is a big horizontal, then vertical slash. Light attacks, backstep attacks, and crouching attacks switch to unsheated stance. Unsheathed stances light combo is two slashes, a pommel strike, a flurry of cuts, and one more big slash. Charged heavy is the vacume slice from Sekiro but without the ranged projectile and the extra flash wall thing. Hold block while unsheathed will play the flute. Pressing light while also playing the flute applys a defense buff for 15 seconds, and heavy applys a damage buff for 15 seconds as well. The ash of war while unsheathed is the Ashina Cross and One Mind attacks from Sekiro. The moveset video is linked in the description

I think one of the craziest things about your videos is that there is never or almost never a wasted movement. You fit as much as you can with each move, like how you get a single slash in between Malenia's water foul dance, it's incredible lol.
I am still just completely blown away that you can set up these types of boss vs boss fights. I was first amazed seeing this done with bosses in the same game, but watching sekiro clash with ER is insanely awesome.
The Iai Swordmaster moveset very much reminds me of a painter, especially because of the smooth moves and the trails they leave behind. The swordsmaster paints upon his enemy as if they are his canvas with clean, artistic moves just as ONGBAL does here.
Ongbal, you are surely the best in showcasing bosses and skills. IMO I think Malenia in Sekiro is way better, just because you can truly deflect and mikiri counter instead of rolling
Damn this is awesome. Im primarily a STR player and Clevers mods have been some of the only times ive run Dex in a fromsoft game. You make these parries look so easy! Im still getting a handle on whether or not this weapons parry is preemptive or not!
It takes 8 frames to come out and is active for 8 frames, VERY precise parry. You can usually activate it during some enemies' attacks midswing and solidly land it

Modded or not, the way you fight Malenia is a work of art that is amazing and inspiring. You give her the fight she longs for by displaying such skill. You are her true sparring partner. (ONGBAL is secretly Malenia's mentor)

Theres just no comparison. Sekiro and ER are so on point, the timings are so tight. Other games should really attempt to replicate this level of precision.
I could watch you fight malenia 1000 times with 1000 different builds and still always watch a new one. I still can't beat her vwithout a spirit helper so this will always be electric to me.
