Baiken evolution is just wholesome for me. I like to think that when baiken first started out, she was poor af, Skinny af, no food, no shower, no shampoo, old tattered clothes, etc. Then when she got popular over the years, her pay increased and got a lot of donations from the fans. Then she ate well, got new clothes, her hair got healthier & fluffier, hit the gym, etc. In time, she built confidence for herself and developed that badass walk. So proud of her.

First= angry, seething, rage and blood lusty like a hurt dog, 2nd= confident strutting warrior, 3rd= So much of badass she can go from goofing around to terrifying lethal on a dime, don't have to show rage or cocky confidence.

I love the first design of Baiken, her body looked more balanced and that style is so specially classic. But Baiken now looks thicc and lewder, just like the other regulars anime girls these days.
I like that booba has been a legitimate part of her character arc. Best as i can tell, none of the other ladies have gotten bigger between games, which is kind of batty considering she's been a full grown adult since the first game.
I'm not good at English nor do I know the guilty gear series well, but maybe her chest got bigger instead of 'grew', because she looks more healthy in general maybe she eats better and all? Or do you have the reason since you talk a bout a character arc? I am curious about it
@SandorThePuppy Judging from the early sprites, I believe Baiken always had big titties. It's the post-Xrd artstyle that makes her boobs stand out more then before, just like how Chipp and Zato become much more muscular then before.

I love how in Strive everyone got new looks but with Baiken they went "Where the fuck are we supposed to go from here!? We have peaked! Nothing we do will ever top this!" then gave her a new coat of paint and called it a day. But yes, Baiken's Xrd design is just too good.
In between previous and current generation guilty gear , she must have went to the Busty Bust Samurai school for ladies . Also probably did pilates , cause her posture is better . It's a same that she didnt maintain her roughness , thats what was appealing to me tbh .
I only know Baiken recently due to TH-cam pop up a few days ago. Beside her iconic characteristics such as hair, boobs, lost an eye and an arm and traditional kimono with the sword, she reminds me of Sekiro who also lost an arm. And her replaced arm is just like prosthetic arm of Sekiro. Since, gear series have been established before the arrival of Sekiro, I think FromSoftware might inspire the design of her character.
Mfs buffed her chest more than the actual character, (seriously, compare Baiken's artwork from the first guilty gear with the strive one, its hilarious how it changed)
As a new person in this community of this game and i noticed too like the person below me that her posture became better in the later stages of the series she's bending over like her body is not as strong or muscular as her in guilty gear strive she's skinny and her clothing👘 is a lot different and has less detail and does not have the iconic skull💀 and more black clothing ⚫in her outfit and her hair is not as colorful🔴 as her in guilty gear strive a lot of changes and she's been through a lot to be standing here with us truey a great character

They wanted to recreate Mai but with a swordsman type of character
