  • This is manufacture production line of Monroe Gas-Magnum shock absorber for trucks.
The Monroe Gas-Magnum truck shock absorber is designed for mid to full size, hard working pick-up trucks and vans. These units provide firm control without a harsh ride. With up to twice the fluid capacity of standard 1 inch bore shocks, Monroe Gas-Magnum truck shocks work more efficiently with less effort.
Save a squirrel, replace your shock at 50,000 miles!

Guess who makes a lot of OEM shocks? Monroe and Gabriel.

acturally a shock stops the oscillating in which the spring does after hitting a bump. thats why a ruined shock causes a car to bounce many times is because the spring is oscillating.

Everyone hates on Monroe shocks. I've got them in the rear of my car and it's never felt better. For the price, I can't complain. Most people have never put a new set of Monroe shocks in their car, they just take out the abused original ones and then complain about how bad they are, or parrot what they heard on a ricer forum

I still have a set of Monroe shocks since 1982 on a customised Chrysler Valiant. They had enough abuse and are still working like new. Before that I has a set of Monroe in my other two cars, a 67 Mustang Cobra and a 69 Pontiac GTO. They were still on these cars after 11 years in my possession. Monroe are tough and do their job for at least 30 years lifespan. Mine are now 37 years old and still going strong. I had photos of these cars on G+, the bastard Google had to shut it down. Shame. 🤨

My 2000 Explorer has had Monroe shocks since it was new. The last pair I installed have lasted 50,000 miles but are starting to wear out. I’m replacing them with Rancho RS9000XL’s since you can adjust them. I like Monroe but I’ll be spending a bit more this time and investing in some upper end shocks.

The dems want the eventual votes from then legal, currently not so legal, immigrants. Then on the other side are the republicans who want all the cheap illegal immigrants labor here they can get because biz is more profitable that way.Immigration reform will never pass in the U.S..,no matter who's President or party in power.

Strut holds the shock and spring in one unit.you can remove spring and replace shock on some cars. others you buy a whole new strut and reuse your spring. Most front wheel drive cars have struts.

I saw very inconsistent damping performance from one box to the next of the same part numbers, made on the same day, and had to warranty tons of them for premature fluid leaks and/or faulty gas seals. KYB, Showa, and Tokico are the best products for the money. Gabriel is only so-so.

Those things are DAMPERS, the springs "ABSORB THE SHOCK" if a manufacturer can't tell the difference, buy a damper from one that can.
So it looks like a few of us know the difference. I once worked for a motor racing team and was told the difference, in no uncertain terms and with a few expletives included. I never called them "shocks" again. :-)

I was optimistic once the current president won a surprising victory. When this one person gladly and easily made almost every member of congress angry at him all at same time I knew he was doing something right. Few if any in recent decades have been able and chose to self fund a trip to the white house. The raised my eyebrows alone. He isn't paid for,or afraid of those who are. But,even tho I myself believe he's for the legal people, one person can't fix this without at least some congressional help.too many old school establishment GOP and too many lazy younger kids want freebies for him to really get big stuff done.im in my early 40s,and worked for every bite I've ate since before high school graduation. Mirrors don't scare me in the least.DC would do well if people there had to use them more. But they have no conscience if the damn walls were mirror. We are so screwed.

Mechanical Engineering For The Win!!! Get Some...... Tool and Die is what made it possible to make a VCR for 300 bucks instead of a million bucks if it were made with hand tools on a work bench..... wallmart, bill clinton, currency abuse ... and every other gimmick... is still nothing but a gimmick... without tool and die.
Bring Back the greatness of the men from yesterday who invested all they could to use tool and die coupled with great ethics and respect for Christ in every person to provide the highest quality parts, products, and services in every field they possibly could to the poorest of the poorest common denominator... that pyramid on your dollar bill means respect for that topic... as strong base truly... not with gimmicks or legal forcing mechanisms... but with free and good will.... will produce a society that is durable...
like anything else... including a set of laws or swords or any other... it is worthless without the peoples respect and true appreciation....
do not make false claims of right, grievance, love, ...or fear monger .... do not make people afraid of no refreshment or joy. ..
do not set the next generation, and thereby many after, to go into sloth as they claim that only the seemingly infinite power of dishonesty in government or wealthy parties can really get anything done.... as that worship of dishonesty, and or malice, guarantees your children will either go to sloth keeping their head down, hoping not to get hurt to bad, and lieng to self about the value of their trade..... or going to sloth participating in the dishonesty and malice raping the shit out of everyone's future.
here's what it comes down to..... any society raised in ignorance to be preyed upon in driven ignorant passion... will in fact be preyed upon by anything ignorant enough to prey on a human society.... and there will never be a shortage of examples ignorant enough to do that ... no matter how hard you try.
Are you to choose mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or electrical engineering for your major?... haha... .that one i can't help you with... .they are each... apparently equally awesome... best of wishes to you and yours... what ever you choose.
Red, White, and Blue....... red = love (goodwill), White = innocents (not naive), Blue = honesty.. these three, coupled with respect for each persons potential to be as Jesus was, in a pinch... to spot moral potential... to say, or do, what needs to be done... as small a thing as changing a kids diaper in an emergency circumstance... will bring you true success, and potential for true greatness... species wide.
the name God Chose for itself is the Truth... even the liar worships what he perceives as the truth... though a liar worships and knows only a very small measure..
you are to look, ... you must look with good will, innocents, and honesty... lest you lie to yourself about what is to be seen... or how much value to place on any aspect of what little you can see..... thereby striking out your eyes and the eyes of any who may emulate you.
you cannot and need not be perfect... there are many truths and wisdoms to be seen in relation to every topic of matter.... many different wisdoms said to be represented by the colors of the flags.. and all other things.... but
if you respect the topic.... honesty, innocents... love.... then you will not be dependent on mystery or fantasy to tell someone why love is worth while... having respected your ability to be honest and seek the truth.. with innocents at heart... you will have caught glimpse of some aspect of the name of God... and you will thereby know how to very truly say, why logically, love... is absolutely necessary.
good luck on choosing your major... if you cannot decide.. be a physicist .... i would, if I was a kid again.
