My home town. I was there last month at that cemetery. My mom and several family members are buried there. My mom used to take me to that cemetery as a child, I think that's where my curiosity about cemeteries started. We visited Agnes almost every time we went. Thanks for sharing her story, and this cemetery Lamont ❤️
My parents lived on Hoover Street just south of Fremont St in Las Vegas when they started with above ground atomic bomb testing. My mom used to say that the blast was so powerful that the curtains would blow completely horizontal. The bombs were detonated when the wind was traveling away from Las Vegas. Unfortunately, St George was considered collateral damage. Not only the people in the movie suffered but also the good people of St George had unusually high amounts of people with cancer, after the test. For those people who refuse to believe OUR government would use it's own population as guinea pigs look no further than the Tuskegee experiment and here at the atomic testing grounds. Growing up, even I recall many test but by that time they were underground and would shake the ground like an earthquake. We had no idea that they were also poisoning the ground water. The extent of the damage done to innocent humans may never be fully known. Thanks BB, for another great story of death.
When I first started watching Bewitched I thought she was not the best looking woman and she fit the "witch" part perfect because of her anesthetics, but later in life after seeing so many photos of the "real" Agnes Moorehead; I realized how beautiful she really was, May she RIP!

Being buried is already an uncomfortable thought, because after a certain time you may just end up in some abandoned lot, nobody left who had enough of a connection to care for the grave, yet I'm in a box, inside another box, just waiting for... vandals? Road construction? Who knows? But being stored in a shelf, in a building that WILL eventually fall victim to time and hoodlums, as we've seen in many videos, is actually a horrifying thought. No, I don't want to be a burden to anybody after I'm done here, but I also don't want my body to become some trash or souvenir, so cremation it is. Then, whoever cares can keep me in a jar until they don't care anymore, and then just dump me out in the wind somewhere nice. I never understood the practice of keeping a dead body around. Yes, maybe for a short time, but make it where it basically composts back into nature, not pump them full of toxic chemicals and double box them. All people see anyway is the marker. No actual corpse is needed. In HER case, if she disliked all the attention and publicity, it feels a bit disrespectful to keep her on display like this. That's just me thinking out loud.
I loved Agnes Moorhead in bewitched. I also heard that she used to teach Elizabeth Montgomery some acting stuff. Don’t know if this is true. Anyway she was a legend to me. Hey Lamont.....The movie you were talking about (the one with the high cancer rate) was called "The Conquerer". Made in the late 1950's, and despite an "all star cast", it's commonly referred to as one of the worst movies ever made......
The Twilight Zone episode was one of my favorites! She was in a lot of black & white movies too! She was awesome, but I think she felt that playing Endora was beneath her. Cant blame her!
FUN FACT: did you know that Agnes Moorehead had a foster son named Sean. She fostered him as a young boy. Saun was a very rebelous child who did not want to follow rules that Agnes lade out for him. In later years Agnes grew distant from her son because of his rebelous nature, and the fact that he did not grow up to be a conservative christian. Being the daughter of a Presbyterian minister, Christianity was important to Agnes. She tried to mold Sean into a conservative Christian, but when he did not turn out that way, she disowned him when he turned 18, and she left him out of her will. She stipulated in her will " i do not have any biological children" " i do not have any adopted children".
This is very interesting and it helps fill out her character and personality a bit more. It's sad things never got resolved between her and the foster child.
Awesome job with this video. I really enjoyed watching it. I wish she understood she was adored for playing in that show. Yes she was a very accomplished actress but she was recognized more for her roll in Bewitched. She made it a iconic character. It's something to be proud of. Even her playing the voice for The Good Goose.. Thanks very interesting video

I don't live to far from dayton but trust me, u don't wanna go to dayton u aren't missing much visiting there..that place is bad ppl are trying to move away from there because of the crime rate went way up
In the Conqueror, it was determined that the radiation was left over in the dirt. Everyone was inhaling the dust from the horses and if I'm not mistaken, some of the horses became ill and died/had to be put down during and/or after filming as well. Don't quote me on that exactly but I'm thinking there's a video about it on TH-cam.
I watched that show Bewitched on occasion. But, Agnes Moorehead was definitely a big actress with a good roll on that show. May she R.I.P. Take care Lamont!

I was never a big Bewitched fan, but I did find the show and the Endora character funny when I did watch it as a young kid. Very fascinating lady to say the least. Thank you for visiting her and sharing her story with us Lamont 🥰🌺
I'm glad your sister made you watch "Bewitched", since it led to your making this informative and interesting video!! Thank you Lamont!
One of my favorite shows growing up Thank you! ♡
That is a peaceful, lovely place. Very classy look inside.
always enjoyed her on Bewitched
She was such a talented, elegant actress.
Agnes Moorehead was a wonderful actress
Always wanted to go to Dayton,my grandmother was born there.I watched Bewitched as a child.Great vlog Lamont.
I don't live to far from dayton but trust me, u don't wanna go to dayton u aren't missing much visiting there..that place is bad ppl are trying to move away from there because of the crime rate went way up
Sad she did not like that roll. She was so good at it. As she was in everything she did. RIP . Thanks for sharing Lamont
She was a busy actress in all of her careers. She was in many movies that I enjoyed. Citizen Kane, Johnny Belinda, Dark Passage, Jane Eyre, and Our Vines Have Tender Grapes. A great actress of wonderful talent.
Thank you lamont for another great story 😊
Thank you Lamont I did not know she and her family where buried there
The story is so good leading up to the final resting place of the person your speaking about.
This was informative Lamont.
I never missed Bewitched. I had no idea she didn't like her character. On the other hand, I can't blame her for how she felt about her fame, & everyone recognizing her for this role...
But not the others. It sure did make her famous though.
RIP Agnes ❤
