    Keenan Allen's career was as a possession receiver with very little YAC, until the last couple of years. MHJ reminds me of KA, but hopefully not marred by injuries like KA.

    I am watching the game tape/highlights and iam just not convinced!
    I would draft him if he fell out of top 10
    But if I had top 3 pick I wouldn’t draft him so high.
    Too many other receivers who can get the job done available later in the draft!
    IMO just not worth the hype
    I would trade down, pick up additional picks! That’s his value in my mind.
    Some other team will pay the high price for him and I could make out well with multiple high picks!

    He has the quickness, shiftiness and ability to create seperation like his dad but is 6'4" with long arms and big hands for his size also just like his daddy lol dude is gonna be a top 5 WR fro day 1 thatbhe steps on the gield in the NFL!

    Well as you can see. His route running and quickness gets him open. To me he doesn't have that break away speed. If teams are trying to get a first down, he's that dude.

    • @chasekellerjournalism
      @chasekellerjournalism  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Personally, I think he 100% has that breakaway speed but it’s nothing to adore. Like it’s a neutral trait in his game.

      @@chasekellerjournalism So in essense. We are talking about a premier route runner and not a Randy Moss type of player. No shame in that. I think he'd be in that Jalen Waddle category type receiver. His father was the same type of player too. Exceptional route runner. I think Marvin will be better.

  • @ecobean3440
    @ecobean3440 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Out of 3 clips shown MHJ excelled in 1 game and he gets an A+ grade. Xavier Legette runs faster than MHJ and is built like a brick house. Keon Coleman doesn't create much separation, but his catch radius is supreme on contested catches and he gains YAC yards. Malik Nabers creates separation better than MHJ and he has the speed to match.
    I think MHJ will have a fine career at the next level, but others in this draft class can be just as successful.

      hes just so well rounded, 6’4” Running a 4.40 40 yd dash, with elite route running, an elite work ethic, and an obvious X factor when hes on the field. When Ohio State gets him the ball he’s phenomenal, and even when hes not getting the ball, its because teams are constantly double covering him to try and take him out of the game. That seems like a generational prospect to me.

      @@dwightlove3704 I agree he can continue building his frame but everyone has to upon hitting the league. A 6'4 215 frame is definitely a positive for him and adding too much more can hinder his effectiveness. You also aren't considering he isn't a jump ball receiver and his game is built on technicality and smoothness.
