He won’t be in Chicago lol Chicago is not using the #1 overall pick on a WR. They will take a QB or trade back. #2 and #3 are not as likely to trade up to #1 as other teams outside the top 5 who would offer more for the #1 pick and would take Chicago out of position to draft him.

Don’t understand fans and execs fascinations over QB’s. Harrison is head and shoulders above the rest of the prospects in this draft, the fact there’s deliberation over the 1st pick is wild to me
I think it all comes down to positional value, but I agree that MHJ is the best prospect in this class by far!

WR’s are a dime a dozen in today’s NFL. While there hasn’t been a WR capable of having a career on par with Randy Moss or Calvin Johnson in a long time, it seems like any rock you turn over has one capable of putting together a 2-4 season stretch at that level.

@@richs6049i think the point is your more likely to find a elite out of the anywhere in the draft vs the top 5 of a draft.

Pick Olu Fashanu and Joe A. First two pick..there’s your foundation of the front offensive line, then get someone to take Eddie Jackson place..also a big WR..then defense on free agency..
I think chicago would be crazy to use that number one overall pick on Caleb Williams instead of drafting Marvin Harris Jr. First of all, when I look at those 2. They look the same to me. Caleb Williams Justin Fields Plus the biggest problem with Chicago. Is there more than just a quarterback away from being relevant. They need to work on the offensive line, and they definitely need to work on the receiving core other than DJ Moore they don't have any wide receivers. They even traded their second round pick last during football season to try to bring in Chase Claypool Who didn't work out at all. That's why I think Chicago would be better off. To use the first overall pick and bring in the best offensive weapon. In this draft and use the tent overall pick to bring in the best lineman available.
I think that's a very fair analysis! As you can see from my pinned comment, I lean towards them taking Caleb and I've detailed my reasons there, but you raise some good points!
No need to use it on either. They can trade it to NE or WASH and still get MHJ
If they had elite WRs like Houston does he'd be putting up #s like Stroud. Oh wait nevermind they only have Collins and Dell

Cardinals would be a good fit and they desperately need him but I'm rooting for the bears to get him.
If I'm being as objective as possible, I'd love to see either of those fits! I think he'd be awesome with either team. Both Fields and Murray work best on the sidelines, which is where I think MHJ thrives

It's the YAC & the broken tackles that make me think that Nabers will have the better career. Now that it's after the draft & we know who his QBs are, maybe not right away.
To be fair, when Danny Dimes had that one big year, he was really adept at hitting crossing routes and other short routes that set receivers up well for YAC. Assuming he can continue to throw those types of routes accurately and that Nabers doesn't draw literally every defender in the defense, he can definitely find himself doing very well out of the gate! I do ultimately think MHJ will have the better career, but its hard to say!
@@TheJumboPackage I must have been tired when I wrote that. I corrected 'not' to 'now.' but also what I meant was Nabers should have more spectacular plays. Speedier, breaks tackles etc. Okay so Jones is reluctant to go long but Nabers can turn short passes into long gains. & besides, who really gets off lots of long passes anymore?
The Texans are already stacked especially if Diggs hasn't lost a step, I'm not assuming AR5 's arm is okay after surgery. Will Levis would have been Extremely Lucky to get him & could have so how ginormous a missed opportunity is that?
& then it would be Lamar? Fields can fling the ball 50+ air yards with a flick of his wrist (the Bears had terrible play-calling & receivers so no one remembers this) but may never get a chance to start in the NFL again. & Herbert after being saddled with Joe Lombardi then Kellen Moore (who everyone but me thinks is great) now has the OC who halved Lamar's TDs & doubled his INTs for three full years.
Oy vey. Hey, if Rodgers has anything left & I'm him, I'd stay at the stadium & play a second game to show people what I can do! Yeah, it's hard to tell if Jones has anything left in his arm.
