Personally, I think inklings are roughly our size. This is because Judd was from the human era, so we can assume that he is the size of a large house cat. With that, we can compare the sizes of the inkling, cat, and human to find out that the inklings are roughly the same size as humans, but most likely a bit smaller.
Further adding to this, in the Museum, there are bones of humans left over from their extinction. Those bones, compared to inklings, are a bit taller, but still comparable. Inklings are about the size of children compared to an adult human. So they're probably around 3 or 4 feet. That would explain why they can jump over other inklings and I bet some super athletic ones would be able to jump a little higher, just like athletic humans can if they train enough ad have the strength.
In the Octo Expansion, there is a door in the Subway station which is sized so that the Octoling’s head just makes it to the height of the doorknob, indicating that it was not meant for octolings/inklings. The same can be said about the phone device that gives you the CQ-80, it’s scaled similarly to to door. Maybe the door and phone were meant for humans before they were wiped out by the rising sea levels? However, the train itself is a perfect scale to the Octolings/Inklings, so maybe only that was meant for Octoling/Inkling access.
Pearl and Marina have confirmed heights. 4'11 ( I think ) and 5'10..so they're probably the same sizes as humans with the same kinds of varying heights

Go to the starting location in octo expansion. If you look around, you'll realise that the subway is clearly built for and by humans. The railings are all tall as you are. On the end of the platform opposite from the entrance to the train, You can see that the octoling is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller, less than half the size of the door. This is also true for the door on the train. Inklings and Octolings size also seem pretty consistent in Smash. Callie and Marie have an assist trophy, but it puts them on a stage separate from the main battlefield, so it's a little harder to measure. Another thing is that we've seen pictures of Judd with a human. If you didn't know, Judd used to belong to a human before humanity was wiped from the face of the Earth. His owner, seeing the doom that awaited humans, built a suspended animation capsule for Judd. In one of the sunken Sea scrolls, you can see Judd being held by his past owner. All this, and more, lead me to believe that Inklings and Octolings are somewhere in the 3 foot range.

no, they don't. in splatoon 1 when your inkling would superjump to spawn in hero mode they would jiggle and collapse like an accordian...then spring right back up, completely unscathed
Have you jumped from moray towers? The answers pretty easily no, because you take no damage jumping from any high places. The only time anything happens if you fall is you die because you fell into a ‘death zone’ but that doesn’t really count as fall damage because you never see yourself hit a floor or anything, just yourself disintergrating (that’s wrong but auto correct won’t correct me) That doesn’t really count as fall damage tbh

It shows you the previous owner of Judd in the fifth work war. Judd is a kind of supernatural cat who can determine any fight. So yeah, he's supernatural and he calculates the results.
If you look into the place where the telephone octo expansion, there is a door behind the telephone. The octoling is a bit shorter than the door handle.

It is very unlikely that Judd is just a very very short cat, as we know that he, or probably the original Judd he's cloned from, was about the size of a normal cat. lil Judd being a kitten. Now you can get a reference from a 6foot human. Its head is about 3 times bigger than the usual human one. Now you just have to measure the statues heads size and compare it to an Octoling :)
I’ve been watching vids of Splatoon 2 to catch up with the Splatoon lore. I used to play a lot of Splatoon including 2, but I had to stop cuz of the paid online and when I got it Smash was out and I’ve been playing that. I’ve recently watched videos of the last Splatfest and the team I was rooting for won. I might play it sometime again, but honestly I’m just speculating what might happen in the third one since it’s probably gonna be more chaotic than ever. I always found the world of Splatoon to be the most interesting in gaming for me and I really enjoy your videos talking about it. Here’s to a great and chaotic Splatoon 3!

Inkilings are about a teeneger size because they are bigger then judd, which is a normal sized cat (I think, and he is bigger then a gamecube, I think)
For how tall inklings are in the sunken scrolls you can learn that inklings and humans are in the same world and now that the squids had more room to exist and adapted to living on ground and in the picture it shows them growing to what looks like the size of a human based on other images and the reason they are smaller in squid or octopus if your an octoling is because it is less needed now and their spud/octopus form shrunk. And for Judd he was put in a small capsule for 10 000 years and taken out into an inkling hospital or lab (also from sunken scrolls) and even cloned to make little Judd so his brain could have been modified in the process.
I think the inklings and octolings height is half of a human height because in Octo Expansion the height of the train's doors is exactly for a human. The octoling is at half of the doors height.
Fun fact: The super jump is based off of the flying squid's ability to launch itself with it's ink it can leap up around 30 meters and travel really far in an estimated time of 3 seconds which is around the time a super jump takes.

Just look at the end of the splatoon 4.0 update video (Entropical) -There was one video that was made by nintendo which I cant remember but I believe that it was someone from the splatoon developing team; They were asked the question of, "How tall are Inklings?" And they replied with, "About 4-5 feet". -So basically, if inklings are about 4-5 feet, then the "5 feet" in the sunken scrolls means that they can jump five feet, over inklings. -That also explains that the octo expansion has the old gaming consoles for *a e s t h e t I c*

I’ve got a theory on inkling and octoling hair. Similar to axolotls, inklings and octoling can regenerate their hair unbelievably fast, and mostly at will. They can choose how many tentacles they have, how big they are, and how they’re shaped. This is how octo afros exist, how they can have bangs that are cut straight, and how shaved sides exist as well. Cutting tentacles is completely painless, and some people even donate their tentacles to other squidkids and octokids who have conditions meaning they can’t grow their tentacles properly. Another mini-theory is that every inkling’s ink tastes different based on their diets! Some might taste like pineapples, some might taste like pizza. (I like to believe Marina’s tastes like kiwi and Pearl’s tastes like mayonnaise)
If Jellies are that great then theory, Jellyfish who don’t have heart or a physical brain probably find Inklings and Octoling interesting. They probably lay can stretch because they have no bones to begin with but with there ability to be in water unlike Inklings and the Ocotarian race, they could have probably dominate the world. Turf Wars did start because the two could only survive on land. While the two maybe at the top, yeah, I can see the Jellies running the show, the game, etc.
The special weapons measure the points that are inked (You need to ink a certain amount of turf to use the special). I think Judd takes the results from these detectors, totals the amount of ink from each team, then subtracts one team from another.

Go to the starting location in octo expansion. If you look around, you'll realise that the subway is clearly built for and by humans. The railings are all tall as you are. On the end of the platform opposite from the entrance to the train, You can see that the octoling is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller, less than half the size of the door. This is also true for the door on the train.
Inklings and Octolings size also seem pretty consistent in Smash. Callie and Marie have an assist trophy, but it puts them on a stage separate from the main battlefield, so it's a little harder to measure.
Another thing is that we've seen pictures of Judd with a human. If you didn't know, Judd used to belong to a human before humanity was wiped from the face of the Earth. His owner, seeing the doom that awaited humans, built a suspended animation capsule for Judd. In one of the sunken Sea scrolls, you can see Judd being held by his past owner. All this, and more, lead me to believe that Inklings and Octolings are somewhere in the 3 foot range.

1. In the book The Art of Splatoon 2, they give us Pearl and Marina's height: Pearl is 4'9, Marina is 5'10. Also, keep in mind Judd is a normal cat that was owned by a human, and the size of an inkling relative to him is about the same as a human.
2. Judd was heavily experimented on by his human owner, so I would not be shocked if he did have some psychic power that allowed him to judge turf wars. Plus, Callie says he does in Splatoon , but then again Callie also said that she is scared of breaking her bones, so she's not the best person to credit.
3. I think that jellies do a lot of the common work in Inkopolis, but when comparing them to an inkling, they are a little handicapped in some cases, so I don't think they are the dominant species meaning I doubt they are the ones who really rule Inkopolis.

It shows you the previous owner of Judd in the fifth work war. Judd is a kind of supernatural cat who can determine any fight. So yeah, he's supernatural and he calculates the results.

Now you can get a reference from a 6foot human. Its head is about 3 times bigger than the usual human one. Now you just have to measure the statues heads size and compare it to an Octoling :)

Inkilings are about a teeneger size because they are bigger then judd, which is a normal sized cat (I think, and he is bigger then a gamecube, I think)
And we see a human next to judd
For how tall inklings are in the sunken scrolls you can learn that inklings and humans are in the same world and now that the squids had more room to exist and adapted to living on ground and in the picture it shows them growing to what looks like the size of a human based on other images and the reason they are smaller in squid or octopus if your an octoling is because it is less needed now and their spud/octopus form shrunk.
And for Judd he was put in a small capsule for 10 000 years and taken out into an inkling hospital or lab (also from sunken scrolls) and even cloned to make little Judd so his brain could have been modified in the process.
I think the inklings and octolings height is half of a human height because in Octo Expansion the height of the train's doors is exactly for a human. The octoling is at half of the doors height.
Fun fact: The super jump is based off of the flying squid's ability to launch itself with it's ink it can leap up around 30 meters and travel really far in an estimated time of 3 seconds which is around the time a super jump takes.

It took me a while to find out so I'm kind of late but:
-Jellies can stretch their legs. Just look at the end of the splatoon 4.0 update video (Entropical)
-There was one video that was made by nintendo which I cant remember but I believe that it was someone from the splatoon developing team; They were asked the question of, "How tall are Inklings?" And they replied with, "About 4-5 feet".
-So basically, if inklings are about 4-5 feet, then the "5 feet" in the sunken scrolls means that they can jump five feet, over inklings.
-That also explains that the octo expansion has the old gaming consoles for *a e s t h e t I c*

I’ve got a theory on inkling and octoling hair. Similar to axolotls, inklings and octoling can regenerate their hair unbelievably fast, and mostly at will. They can choose how many tentacles they have, how big they are, and how they’re shaped. This is how octo afros exist, how they can have bangs that are cut straight, and how shaved sides exist as well. Cutting tentacles is completely painless, and some people even donate their tentacles to other squidkids and octokids who have conditions meaning they can’t grow their tentacles properly.
Another mini-theory is that every inkling’s ink tastes different based on their diets! Some might taste like pineapples, some might taste like pizza. (I like to believe Marina’s tastes like kiwi and Pearl’s tastes like mayonnaise)
If Jellies are that great then theory, Jellyfish who don’t have heart or a physical brain probably find Inklings and Octoling interesting. They probably lay can stretch because they have no bones to begin with but with there ability to be in water unlike Inklings and the Ocotarian race, they could have probably dominate the world. Turf Wars did start because the two could only survive on land. While the two maybe at the top, yeah, I can see the Jellies running the show, the game, etc.
The special weapons measure the points that are inked (You need to ink a certain amount of turf to use the special). I think Judd takes the results from these detectors, totals the amount of ink from each team, then subtracts one team from another.
