Great video joe, it's good to see a video like this as it's surprising how many people get the position of their pole rollers wrong especially those that are new to pole fishing
Great vid Joe,my only criticism is that I've never seen a vid done by anyone, with banking behind thats uneven or of differing heights as everywhere isn't like a snooker table..lol a water I fish there is a difference of 3ft in height, from the front bank to the back bank, with a drop off behind as well to contend with..it's a nightmare..!
Great tips Joe, i always struggle due to a back issue with 13m plus pole. I really agree with using your legs to shift the weight it makes a massive difference. Top tips m8
Great video Joe. Wholesome content well explained as always. I’ve always had my back roller a little higher and have relied on the pole sock. Setting up so the pole stays level makes more sense, going to try that tomorrow
@@NuFish I did, so much more comfortable and confident. Your tip on ensuring the rollers are square is also invaluable. I walked away from my peg and noticed I was out of sorts. Thanks Joe 👏🏼👏🏼
Well worth the 16:47 of detail, extremely informative. Could I please ask, fishing in several different areas of your swim, how do you approach that, I find my self taking 4 rollers to accommodate each swim, any easier options? Thanks
I've got one of the all black double taurus rollers, had it a while and always wondered why the legs don't lock out like makes do? Just makes it feel abit flimsy sometimes
Great video I have been trying to work this out for a while 🎣🎣🎣
Making sure the roller is sat square is a great tip. Never thought of that. Cheers.
Glad to help
Nice one Joe will certainly be lifting the front one up a touch.
Just a touch works a treat
As always Joe includes "little gems" of advice that are often overlooked in similar videos. AND FOR FREE!

Great explanation of something supposedly so easy . Have you not done your coaching badges yet ?🤔👍👍
Not yet!
Great video full of information as always. What do you think of United so far this season?.
dreadful but I remain optimistic :)
Hi what about height front higher than back or vice versa?
It’s personal preference but having the front slightly higher helps shift the balance of the pole onto your lap like a seesaw
Great stuff Joe, Thank you,
Brilliant Joe
