Let's be honest though, you wouldn't be willing to keep creating new villains in your works unless your works were original parodies, or if your work had a clear beginning, middle and end.
I mean, in his defense, Ghost Rider's gaze (in the comics, not in the movies) quite literally punishes you on the basis of the sins you did, so he's basically the only supehero who is (kind of) justified in the whole "kill those who deserve it" department.
Honestly, the symbiote was probably the greatest hero in the Marvel universe. Killed the crazy supervillains who were murdering Peter's loved ones while talking through the situation with Peter, recognized that Peter hadn't rejected it when they were separated and kept trying to help him save everyone by giving everyone awesome symbiote powers, and put an end to the villainy of Reed Richards once and for all. It even offered to give him back his old color scheme if he felt like it. It was too good for this sinful earth.
In the ultimate continuity, he becomes the villain The Maker, who is an Avengers level threat. In the main continuity, he is basically a super pragmatist, similar to Tony Stark. @@anthonyrodriguez8788 Maybe I misremember but isn't one of Kingpin's gimmicks actual superstrength? I feel like he could at least take on the Shocker.
@@drakegrandx5914 Kingpin is strong don't get me wrong, he's as strong as a human being can possibly become without Superpowers, strong enough to consistently dominate Super Soldiers like Captain America, Red Skull, and Bucky, but he doesn't quite reach the highs of Spiderman or people on his level, there's a good reason most of Fisk's big storylines against Peter are because of his empire and not his physical might. As for Shocker, despite his status as a C tier villain, that's actually a carefully constructed facade he himself created in order to avoid attracting the attention of hero groups like the Avengers, and scarier villains like Dr. Doom or Hydra. Shocker in the early days was one of Peter's most consistently challenging enemies, he always adapted his strategies to counter whatever Peter used to beat him last time, and in more modern stories Shocker has taken on entire crime families by himself through the raw power of his suit and analytical mind.
I remember reading this comic last year and by the time I didn't notice this, but damn, Marvel should invest more in these separate stories and not just make them single events. Revisiting classic moments in the Marvel Universe and changing some details is such a nice ideia for separate arcs that aren't connected to a bigger plot or something else. Maybe putting everything through canon is just mining the creativity of writers, and most importantly, the patience of the readers at this point, and stories like these are just what we need.
It’s entirely version dependent. The original arcs didn’t change his powers. Modern ones though do have the symbiot enhance him. It’s part of the reason that Peter has been able to pull the “leave you current host and come back to me” fake out trick multiple times. The symbiot is addicted to Peter because of his powers.

I'm surprised kingpin didn't try and relate to peter when he found out his identity as a way to calm him down, considering they've both lost loved ones
I'm surprised at how often this happens to heroes. Their villains jump them, attack their families or homes, have attempted to kill them several times, and have most likely endangered or killed several innocent people. Then when Spider-Man or anyone else says "fuck it, I'm killing all of you" suddenly you guys get shook? You wanted these problems, YOU pulled up on HIM!

They're designed to dissolve after a time period. Also anybody strong enough could break free. most of his rogues gallery has an answer to the webs, but it's great for street criminals that don't have access to fancy labs
Extreme crimes and deranged criminals are the point of no return. Always found it incredibly stupid how comic books for some reason normalized forgiving degenerates lol
I just don’t understand the whole “good guys can’t kill” mantra outside of people like the punisher. We have “good guys” taking lives in real life and they get a morality pass because they have qualified immunity? Even a random person can be found innocent for killing in self defense or saving a stranger in specific scenarios. Would a random civilian be seen as a villain if he got lucky and hit any Spider-Man villain with a mortal gunshot wound after they bust in their home? No! It doesn’t take a court case for someone to realize mass murderers being dead is better for the public.

Yeah the only Superhero I can think of who has a rogue's gallery where a large portion of the villains could legitimately murder the hero even when they aren't holding back is Wonder Woman.
And that's because a lot of her villains are either literal gods or are powerful and or skilled enough to solo the Justice League, oftentimes both.
>he isn't that strong
My guy literally lifted a 140-ton plane on his back like it was made of cardboard and held a 120-ton train over his head like a folded laundry, he is way strong.
Spiderman is very strong and that's why he pulls his punches. Most strong heroes do.
I think at that point was alluding to the fact that Johnny and Peter switched places to trick the Symbiote. Johnny doesn't have the strength that Peter does, so when pretending to be Peter, he seemed "weak"
Kinda dumb, considering most of his 'average' strength feats top out at around 10 tons... _buuut,_ hey - comics.
Don't forget he punched someone jaw clean off when doc took over peter mind
@@dontaskwhybutiliketocook597 That was really dumb. The guy in question was The Scorpion. Unless there's been some sort of really stupid retcon, Scorpion has always been on Spidey's level. He's not a "normal guy in a robot suit" he's a super-powered individual who wears a suit that grants him an extra robotic limb (A tail). If Spider-man punched Scorpion as hard as he could...it'd be like a normal guy punching another normal guy as hard as he could, because they're both roughly the same super strength and endurance-wise.. It wouldn't rip his jaw off!
To be honest.
I'm glad he killed those villians.
No mercy.
Maybe Shocker was a step too far but Scorpio did have it coming

Cool. Is there a universe were Peter has a balanced relationship with the symbiote? That would make sense if Eddie could do it.
Eddie is a hateful person, their relationship works based on the fact that Eddie doesn't care about morality and only wants to kill those who he hates
Not that I know of. The closest I've ever seen is the normal universe where Spider-man takes on the Venom Symbiote again to take down the Red Goblin. I'd love to read a story where Spider-man gets his own symbiote and has a happy and successful relationship with it.
@@Goldenbane indeed, it would make his life easier and balanced in his social/scholar life maybe. I think he would live longer.
It would have to be a universe with a different symbiote. That one is just too yandere for Peter. But that's what happens when a symbiote merges with deadpool first.

If you kill a killer the number of killers in the world stays the same. But if you kill more than one 😂
Ah but you can't kill the most powerful villains of all: the writers who don't wanna have to keep coming up with replacement villains.
Let's be honest though, you wouldn't be willing to keep creating new villains in your works unless your works were original parodies, or if your work had a clear beginning, middle and end.
The panel of shocker is hillarious is almost like regular spiderman was just playing with them all this time

Honestly after knowing what type of person reed turns into most of the time the symbiote did everyone a favor
Did he turnes into monster?😂😂
What the hell? Care to elaborate that?
Not to mention the Reed Richards of the zombies universe purposely infected the other members of the fantastic four and doomed humanity
Irony:
In killing the murder happy villians, Spidey would be saving lives.
I mean there's a punisher and a Deadpool for that
@@moycorbin4750 yeh but they all tend to stay in their lanes(that is to say, the writers keep things simple so they aren't always having to do collabs)
Dude can move at around 200 mph in a dead run and can casually toss around 120 tons like its nothing. Many people, super powered or not would be dead before they knew what was going on if Peter really wanted them gone.
With how many "what ifs" there are of spidey and venom I'm kinda shocked that there isn't one where venom isn't evil and peter bonds with it permanently becoming a better spider-man with the help of venom
How come in every alternate reality with the black suit, Spiderman is always deranged and the symbiote is fking evil? In the main universe, the symbiote is docile and has a sense of justice. What's so different when Spidey uses it?
I don't know i think in the main universe venom and eddie got development meanwhile their alternate versions didn't
It eats Peter's rage
And Ben's last wish keeps peter back but not the suit
I love how every what if scenario he becomes a mass murderer or is being controlled. There's no middle term, all to justify him not killing the villains and giving them the ungratefull task of writing new ones. Yes, kids. That's the reason heroes don't kill mass murderers.
Ah yes, when you send two supervillains to murder someone and the target shows up at your doorstep with part of their bodies, of course you start threatening them. What could possibly go wrong?
Not only that but both of the villains who got butchered are also way stronger than Kingpin.
@@anthonyrodriguez8788 Shocker and Scorpion are not stronger than Kingpin? At least not Shocker.
@@drakegrandx5914 yeah they are.
Kingpin isn't strong enough to hurt Shocker nor does have have any weapons that can penetrate his suit.
And Scorpion despite what that one issue of Superior Spiderman tries to claim is just as strong as Spiderman who is way stronger than Kingpin by leaps and bounds.
Venom + Reed Richards = Antispiral

I remember reading this comic last year and by the time I didn't notice this, but damn, Marvel should invest more in these separate stories and not just make them single events. Revisiting classic moments in the Marvel Universe and changing some details is such a nice ideia for separate arcs that aren't connected to a bigger plot or something else. Maybe putting everything through canon is just mining the creativity of writers, and most importantly, the patience of the readers at this point, and stories like these are just what we need.
To see Spider Man snap..if " No more Mr. Nice Guy " was a person...

Wait, he gets a decent ending? The writers would never!
Peter isnt more powerful, he's just more unrestrained and agressive
No he is definitely more powerful, the Black Suit enhances his powers on top of lowering his inhibitions.
I've always wanted a symbiote like Venom.
technically, the symbiote doesnt even give him extra power. it just gives him infinite webs and makes him not hold back
Miguel O‘Hara really saw this and said „sorry Peter, but this is a canon event“

Have you ever thought how scary would be a spider man who kills, murders and dismembers? imagine, he usually appears in places silently without anyone knowing, walking through the walls, it's like a real spider, only with the full intention of killing you, and he would do it so fast that you wouldn't notice
I'm surprised kingpin didn't try and relate to peter when he found out his identity as a way to calm him down, considering they've both lost loved ones

Symbiote Spiderman is the absolute best Spiderman
Fisk must have incredible brain damage to want to use venom

Like mostly of the villains he thinks he can control it or smt like that, imo he would have done the same even without his new "look"
I'm surprised at how often this happens to heroes. Their villains jump them, attack their families or homes, have attempted to kill them several times, and have most likely endangered or killed several innocent people.

Because as we all know, killing villains can only make you a villain. It's inevitable.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic, but yeah, that's right.
How has no one made a counter for spidermans webs yet? The webs are man-made so we know they can be replicated, and he leaves plenty of it on the daily with all his little skirmishs.

“SIM-BI-OAT.”
