Personal preference, i just can't leave gopro. The stabilization is something that djonhas never matched. Everytime i watch a dji video i SEE the jiggles everytime the rider hits a bump etc.
does the MIC2 still disconnects when the camera goes to sleep? And does it still take a random amount of time to reconnect when starting recording in snapshot mode?
The very first time I used the magnetic mount on the Action 4 a year ago I was skeptical too. A year later, lemme tell you NOTHING is bringing that thing off if it's clicked on correctly.
It's a nice camera but the software over processes the video in normal color mode. They also reduced the bit rate to 50mbit from 100mbit. That really hurt the image IMO. Skin in bright sun looks horrible. Just my opinion.
I will definitely be upgrading to this from my hero. 9. But I have a quick question. What audio settings do you have your mic set to for the exhaust? I find that even with my dji Mic 2 That's mounted in my helmet, I am getting some sort of over modulated sound. It sounds almost echoey and there's a lot of artifacts. Any tips? Thanks!
Hmm, so audio settings wise make sure you are recording in 32 bit float. Have your sensitivity set to -12 and I would try removing the low cut filter. That gives us the best sound (that you heard in this video)
@@chaseontwowheels I'll definitely try that. I know I am recording 32-Bit float because I sync all the audio up with the video in post. I'll make sure the low-cut filter is turned off if it is turned on. It's so weird, it's like an echoey sound. It almost sounds like you're yelling into an empty well. But only when I'm not talking. I need to get a foam wind cover for the lavalier mic that I have plugged in. That might be causing it.
How can the 5 Pro have a lower recording bitrare compared to the 4? This is absurd. Users should be given the option of selecting a higher bitrate setting at the expense of lower battery life and higher heat output. DJI must add this to a firmware update. The bitrate is too low on the 5 Pro.
They do great. Of course it all depends on so many factors but for my setup that I showed in this video I may or may not be able to do 3 digit speeds with good audio.

I sent it back and the new one will run for 12-15 min, but still, that's not enough. And their support is a major pain to deal with. DJI support is unbelievably good. They call you after you file the return, the call you after you recieve the replacement (I broke the screen on my Pocket 3). Top notch service. PLUS... with DJI care on that Pocket 3, my cost to replace it was... get this... $35 bucks. That's it. Pretty much just covered the shipping there and back. I was impressed.

Nice! was that the 450 MT in the off road section?
Nope, that was a T7!
wow UI looks more like Osmo pocket 3
What's with the jitter?
Lower shutter speed mixed with stabilization. I’m still working on a fix for it.
What a beautiful videos ❤😘😘💕😃🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹♥️♥️♥️♥️👌
Hey Mate, great Video! Thanks for that.
I wonder if the field of View of DJIs "Superview" is comparable with the Hyperview from GoPro? It looks like you can get waaay more in the Scene when shooting a GoPro for that fisheye POV look. Like Seeing the Arms coming in from the sides. Or am I seeing that wrong?
I'd apreciate an answer! Trying to figure out which one suits me best :)
Greets
I actually just got in my GoPro 13 so I can do a comparison video for you guys. I'll report my finding on that vid!
18:10 on the original Osmo Action 4k it has that option to show the full image instead of the full screen.
I may just be dumb and haven't found that yet.
Game was over at the action 3 . Appreciated your honesty man . Thanks
I´ve seen you using the ruroc 4.0 track. Can I mount a sena on it??
action 5
does not work with Cardo ? Yes or no
is the oa5pro still have delay work with usb c type external mic when snap shot mode? oa4 has issue when cold start(aka snap shot) with usb c type mic or mic adapter(adapter from dji). camera didnt connect with mic 4 to 15 sec.
As for the chin mount, can the dji mic 2 attach to it on the other end at the inside of the helmet?
Personal preference, i just can't leave gopro. The stabilization is something that djonhas never matched. Everytime i watch a dji video i SEE the jiggles everytime the rider hits a bump etc.
Where do you place mic in your helmet and what role cardo is playing in your setup?
Cardo for me is just comms and music listening.
@@chaseontwowheels Can you connect the Cardo to the camera like some of the Insta360 cams?
How is the editing is it harder or easier than gopro and insta360
does the MIC2 still disconnects when the camera goes to sleep? And does it still take a random amount of time to reconnect when starting recording in snapshot mode?
I've been very surprised with how much faster the Mic 2s connect to the Action 5 Pro. Haven't had any going to sleep issues.
@@chaseontwowheels well, if they fixed that I hope they'll push some firmware update for the OA4 also ...
Does anyone know if you can connect both of the DJI mic to the action 4 or is it only on the action 5?
Action 4 can connect 1 only. Action 5 Pro is only one that can connect 2.
@@chaseontwowheelsthank you!!
Great review .. one question .. hoy sturdy is the magnetic mount? I am scared that if I put it in the handle bar .. the camera can jump out ..
Might get an update
Bruh, @chaseontwowheels does the Smallrig Cage for the 4 fits the 5 Pro?
I think your wind/noise reduction is turned on. If the light is yellow, that means it's on. Press the power button to turn it off.
How can the 5 Pro have a lower recording bitrare compared to the 4? This is absurd. Users should be given the option of selecting a higher bitrate setting at the expense of lower battery life and higher heat output. DJI must add this to a firmware update. The bitrate is too low on the 5 Pro.
How do the mics perform at higher speeds.
I use the GoPro 12 with Purple panda mic and at some speeds I will get clipping.
They do great. Of course it all depends on so many factors but for my setup that I showed in this video I may or may not be able to do 3 digit speeds with good audio.
@@chaseontwowheels Haha. Thanks.
In low light it doesn't look any better than the Ace pro. I'm looking forward to the Ace Pro2.
I'm not a fan of Insta360. I haven't used an Ace Pro, but the One X2 shuts off one me all the time. One that I had wouldnt' run more than 2 minutes most of the time.
2 mics on 1 cam...i'm sold! goodbye GoPro's 😅
Thanks for this video!
can you speak about around 50% bitrate compared to Action 4? 60MBps for 4k 30fps - joke?
