I'm currently in the Himalayas and I am fed up with my gopros. Inhave the 7 on the helmet cos it's small but with the audio adapter the small footprint is lost. Battery life is atrocious. Random freezing, either video freezes and audio gets recorded or video gets recorded and no audio. I use a 10 for vlogging when off my motorcycle and yesterday it chew through 2 batteries for not more than 2 hours of recording.
Personally, I'll just buy the large capacity battery. They fit & function in the Action 4 & 3. The only really plus, is the ability to connect 2 of the Mic 2 TXs to the Action 5 (Pro?) vs the Action 4 only connecting to one.. But that is entirely software based; nothing is limiting it hardware wise.. but DJI are price scrapers, so they will (99.9% sure) not update the Action 4 to have that function so it pushes people to buy the 5 ("Pro").. Action 4 works entirely just fine, and for me recording in the dark or "low light" really isn't a need.. I don't ride at night. so no reason to upgrade.
I just want to know if you did something on post to make the stabilization seems good. I saw on some motovlogers that the stabilization looks really awful when they use the same camera settings in this video to create motion blur.
Awesome review, I think ill pick it up over the ace pro more than likely. My action 4 is my go to cam, but it sucks at night time when I do alot of riding. The ace pro is ideal because of the night mode, but overall i prefer dji color science and crispy footage.
Looks great, especially with the ability to sync the mic. What are your thoughts on using this as a standard vlogging camera? How does it look without any of the warped aspect ratios?
I think it would be great, I labeled the video clips in there and there are a couple that were shot in the de-warped setting. The front screen makes it easy to vlog in a selfie mode and the battery life is just incredible
@@9to5toys Awesome, I think you just helped me make my decision. I have been on the fence about what camera to use for a few months. I’ve been very impressed with DJI, farewell GoPro!
The jitterness on that Action 5 stabilisation is unwachable even during the day its so damn bad. Maybe try to quadruple Shutterspeed instead of doubling i believe that could work well motion blur won't be so great but the overall footage will turn out better for example, bright sunny day, ND32, 4K24 shutter speed 1/100
Personally the DJI Air 3 S would be the best for semi-consumer. In the USA the drone over 250 grams is not a problem to fly as long you registered and have remote ID, and if use commercially just need license Part 107. If you go anywhere else I recommend not to get anything over 250 gram or too expensive, it will be taken away or not able to fly ( check the countries regulation). DJI products I recommend are the mini series for travel for average consumer.
I’m looking for a small camera to film inside malls and for low or artificial light vlogging and walking tours in evening light. I’m seriously considering the Ace Pro but been waiting on this release to compare them. Do you think it’s as good as the Ace pro for low light? Is action 5 jittery?

@@Marsh.x far superior battery life, no random freezing or shutting off due to heat, Bluetooth mic connection (2 mics), better low light. And that's not innovation for you? 😂 Must be a GoPro fanboy. This camera have one major flaw. Still you can’t connect it via Bluetooth to a Cardo Intercom and you need to have a separate mic inside the helmet.
Sorry but cardo mic quality aint shit compared to dji mic 2 ..
@@S2keyz probably yes, but I’m not really interested to put 2 Dji mics inside my helmet to record myself and my fellow riders communication.
Any reason why you choose 24fps with 50 shutter instead of 25fps with 50 shutter?
Any thoughts on adding a higher bitrate through a firmware update?

Hello sir

Inside Malls? Frankly, that's kinda creepy.. Also, note, Malls are Private Property. While yes, publicly accessible, they are still private property.

The DJI Mic 2 works perfectly with Bluetooth as far as I am concerned. Here is my video testing it out...th-cam.com/video/_AXm1ZhPWR4/w-d-xo.html
The best?
The Action5 isnt Bad....but the Hero12/13 was better for Motorvlogs.
They have left GoPro so far in the dust it’s not even funny anymore. They continue to innovate.
Should really consider looking up the definition of innovate; there is no real innovation on the Action 5 "Pro" ..
