- Here is exactly what I did to get all 9's in my GCSE exams with a few 100%s. History. Physics. Biology. Chemistry. Maths. Business. PE. English Literature. English Language.
I managed to achieve all 9's at GCSE and would like to help as many others as possible to achieve the grades that they wish to achieve. In this video, I cover what I did to revise for my exams as well as the key tips and tricks that helped me achieve those 9s. This video is mainly based on the science GCSEs but the content applies to the other subjects too.

@@hassan.hadier use maths genie then click gcse revision and do every single exam question and mark them. The more you do the more you get used to it! There are also videos to watch. Similarly, Hergaty Maths and Seneca are helpful. I recommend Mr bruff for poetry. And for science watch freesciencelessons on yt. He is rlly useful. Good luck and hope you all the best!! 💘

One thing that’s helped me is to when I think I’ve mastered something, turn on my Hype and Turn-Up playlist at a high volume and test my knowledge again, it practices focusing

hey! i used the flash card technique for my geography, chemistry and biology year 10 mock, i ended up getting a 9 in geography, 8 in chemistry and 9 in biology!!! for someone who really struggled with science as didn’t expect to even pass, your technique saved me :) thank you so much

Honestly my best advice is just practice it, write a descriptive piece on a cool image once every two weeks and you will be able to copy the sentences you’ve used for them in your gcse

First of all thank you, it means alot 😁. So for your revision, you will always feel like there are gaps in your knowledge and thats completely fine. Remember for most subjects you only need to get about 70/80% for a grade 9. Ofcourse thought it is better to know as much as you possibly can so when you’re doing the work, if you feel like there is a bit more that you should do before your allocated time is up, just keep going. Keep going when you are in the zone and get as much done as possible. Timetables are hugely variable, like some of my hour slots id end up doing 5or6 hours and then some of my 2 hour slots would take 20minutes. Basically be smart with it and don’t base what you do off of time, base it off of what needs to be done if that makes sense.

Bro I'm in the same boat I'm in year 10 with predicted grade 8s and 9s. It may sound pretty dickish but like you're probably in set one and set two for most stuff and if ever you find that things are difficult, try and think how bad it must be for the other kids who aren't as naturally gifted as you. USE YEAR 10 WISELY TO PREPARE AND MAKE RESOURCES FOR YEAR 11 NOW, spend less time faffing about next year and get straight into it because you made all your revision resources now

Great vid. Love the posters. One thing I'd add to it is a technique called "Blurting". Try to write down everything you can remember when you recap the poster, then check it against the textbook and add anything you missed in a different colout

1) *GET ORGANIZED* (get cue cards/flashcards, folders, notebooks and a diary)
2) *PLAN YOUR TIME* and make a timetable or write in your diary
3) *JUST DO IT!* Stop Procrastinating!
4) *BE SMART ABOUT YOUR WORK* Work smart not hard ,put all distractions away!
5) *UNDERSTAND* what you are learning so you can apply it to anything don’t just memorise and write things down!
6) *PRACTICE* makes perfect!You can do past papers and also set yourself your own end of topic test for each subject!

Wish I saw this when I was studying my gcse's and A levels. I only got a few 9s for my GCSEs and my grades ranged down to a 5 at the lowest.Also got defaulted As and A*s for A levels. Genuinely glad I saw this, it gives me motivation because you look bloody well chuffed that you mastered something and the grades showed. Big respect for you. I was losing motivation in university, but this gives me hope that I too can master my studies.

I have been watching your videos for a while now and it has come to me that you are sort of an inspiration for me. The way you balance grades, fitness and social life is amazing. Right now I am year 11 doing GCSES and i recently started the journey of self improvement a few months ago. I have been working out more and exercising more. However I have one problem. I have no friends. It's been like this for around 6 years and i have felt dead on the inside. I hate school even though I love learning. I've seen you balance out your social life really well and I just feel sad watching it as I don't have the opportunity to enjoy one. I kind feel dead on the inside and its been like this since y8 and I wanna make it through A levels and go to uni where it will probably be more fun. However, I don't really think I can last much longer as I think I might mess up really bad and do something I regret really badly or harm myself. Any tips?

Hey. Idk u but I saw your comment and just wanted to say something. First you need to work out why you don’t have friends. Is it because you have anxiety or isolate yourself without knowing it, it’s your personality or people at your school are just nasty. If the problem is people at your school, then just work your ass off for your GCSEs. Once you go to college and uni it will be easier to make friends and socialise as people are so much more mature and you can choose where you go and who you want to be. Also remember that as long as you’re happy with what your doing in life, no-one else’s opinion should matter, and if you’re unhappy, try to change it if possible (Ofc if you have a mental or physical illness then this part doesn’t apply).
Overall, just focus on yourself and carry on becoming a better person each day and stay healthy high physically and mentally. Wishing you the best :)

Neha Rawther It happens 😂 Don’t worry about it, just use it as a quick break and then get back on the revision
cba to watch the actual video but i also got 10 9s, 9 of them in 2020, one of them early in 2019. In my mocks I got 8 9s and an 8, with most 9s being 10-20 percent above the grade boundaries. Not sure if I’m repeating anything he said but here’s how I did it
-START EARLY. If you haven’t started yet you are behind. Maybe not your friends, but you’re behind the people who are going to go above their targets. Harsh reminder to start revising now
-Pretty revision is not that useful. Half of the battle is knowing exam technique - timings, and what specifics will get you makes in certain questions. Don’t waste time on beautiful revision posters - use summary sheets such as target revision , or flash cards. Highlighters and other colours are great, probably essential, but spending 20 minutes revision time on the title isn’t effective. Any written revision gou do should be minimal and summarised
- PRACTICE PAPERS !!!! If your teachers are willing to mark that’s great, but most things you can mark yourself. Get so familiar with layouts and mark schemes that you can essentially mark your work as you go through. With my RS gcse I knew the mark scheme so well that I could tick off the marks I was getting in my head as I went along. I got 191/200 in that exam. Know your mark schemes, know the types of questions and how to answer them
- if you procrastinate, so does everyone, don’t panic. It’s not good, but you can work past it. For me, strict timetabling in a revision planner worked. I had certain tasks to do in certain 20-minute slots, with breaks every few slot. There are good videos out there on stopping procrastination so watch them and see what works for you
-help your friends. I explained electrolysis amd functions and the heart so many times I was an expert on it by the end. You retain 90 percent of the information you teach. All of my friends scored above targets because I’d been forcing them to revise and sit through me teaching fro, the start of the year (ofc they wanted it lol I didn’t actually force them) and this is probably why I did well
That’s it tbh. My last piece of advice is that if you want to do well, you HAVE to work for it. I remember my friends coming out of mocks without bothering to answer the harder questions because they hadn’t revised this - I’m sure this year knows to not let that be you. And the last thing is to set a goal and work for it. At the start of year 10 I wouldn’t have believed I’d get 10 9s, nut at the start of year 11 I decided that I was going to get it. And from then I did absolutely everything I could. 8s or low 9s in practice papers meant I’d redo the paper, or spend time revising the specifics I’d got wrong. So set yourslelf a high goal - you never know, you could do it, or even drooling a few grad3s would still be very good. Good luck, and I feel so sorry for you having to take exams in covid! (Also get Seneca lol it’s amazing)

Tacky Tuesdays! Yeah so you’d have like a key question on the front and an answer on the back with any key things to remember. For example for chemistry on one side the question could be “what are the properties of metallic bonding?” And on the other side you’d write -Electrical conductivity, -High MP, -Malleable etc and maybe write the definition of metallic bonding. Does that help?

its january 2021 schools online didnt even go to half my lessons today and im feeling really motivated after this tomorrow im gonna go to all my classes and get into a proper routine
The best part of 3 months, im hitting 7 or 8 in the majority of my subjects, I can revise 2hrs weekdays and 4hrs weekends ( more time in holidays) I think I can get 9s but it will be harder for my current grade 6s in triple biology and chemistry

This video is THE BESTTT and easy to understand..I'm in year 10 and ngl it is HARD because I used to be naturally smart and always got the best results without even trying.. I would just go through my book and BOOM I know it... Now that subjects got difficult idk what to do and I find this lifesaving video...(I used to be in set 1 or 2 for everything now I'm in set 4 GREAT!!)
