This is one of many of Depeche Mode's hidden gems...this could have been a big hit! Others include Ghost, Surrender, Newborn, Stjarna, Light, Dangerous, just to name a few...They've had a hard time separating the a-sides from the b-sides especially on the latest 2 albums!

@zombiecinema Yes, without Wilder's producing touch some of the Depeche Mode feeling has been lost. The latest albums are good but not in the class of the ones in which Wilder was still onboard.

Some songs just work better live for some reason... I agree with you 100% ... live in Hamburg proved that synth bands could command the same energy and warmth as a guitar based band.
Good song, I want to brake away with DM!! :) Dave is so energetic in his dancing! I would have loved to have gone to their concert's in that time, but when your a young kid in the 80's, you didn't get to do everything your older sibling did!
