The album 101 made a crushing impression on me at the time. During holiday work I met a DM fan and he played me a number of songs, where the atmosphere of the songs immediately made a deep impression on me. During the following holiday with friends to Luxembourg, I bought the album in a local record store, which I played endlessly in my room after returning home.
I was 19 at the time, from a small village where little or nothing happened and this album touched me to the deepest fibers of my soul.
I am now 54 and the music of Depeche Mode has always remained close to me throughout my life and has comforted and embraced me when I needed it. I only feel love and nostalgia for the era of "101". ♥
