In this episode of the Jetstream Mini Jetboat build we finish installing the 2012 Seadoo RXP 260 hp into the fully welded hull. Lots of electrical work in this episode, building the floor and seats, installing all the controls, wiring up the switches, bilge pumps, blowers , fuse box and relays and much more. Custom finger throttle. Using a Miller 220 Multimatic running Tig and Mig welding.
This kit is going to be a total of 14 feet overall length with swim grid, 4 seater engine cover, 1/4" hull, 1/8" sides, full 1/2" UHMW on bottom and side chines, lexan walk through front window, powered by Seadoo 260 horsepower Supercharged rotax motor.

Brilliant idea zip tying the harness to the table!! Makes getting the length correct on each wire so much easier

*Great build guys, very nice series on the build.* One thing I didn't like and you must change out is your battery....if that really is a car battery.
You need a marine battery. Car and marine batteries are made/manufactured VERY differently....A car battery in a boat, is an accident waiting to happen!!

Waiting on my jetstream kit. Just curious what your settings were on your welder? I'll be using that same miller 220. Boat looks 🔥🔥🔥
I just used the auto settings and tweaked the voltage when miging or amps when tiging depending on the situation. Was definitely a learning curve though that's for sure haha

Finishing out one of these myself. Steering, is that the Jetstream tilt helm? Looks like you have a billet spacer in there? What length cable did you end up with. Awesome boat. Run videos are great!
It's just the non tilt steering set up from jet stream, can't remember the length anymore but if you call em they'll let you know what you need.

How did you handle the VTS from the seadoo? Or are you running without trim?
We deleted the ibr/vts trim system and are just running it with a fixed trim set up

@@markmontgomery6734 yeah, trim is a must have though, I'll have to rig something up and just use the lever
@@markmontgomery6734 if your trim/bucket system is all attached to the pump and not the hull then I'd definitely use the stock ibr/vts set up.

people do for sure, we just used what we had. Foot throttle would be nice to try out though
