I keep seeing this method . But can it work with those adapters , using your record on iPhone (video record) and use the sp404 for sound as you record the video . Meaning when you play it back (the video recorded ) you see what your camera shows from the iPhone and the sound from sp404 mk2 , with the Android note 9 usb c input . It would do just that , I’m waiting to see if it works for iPhone with the adapter , rather than using an app , I’m looking for a vice versa effect than what is shown
Last time I tried (a while ago) you could record video from the iPhone and it would take audio from the SP404 mk2 as that becomes the audio device. If you'd like I can give it a try again... but I'm quite confident that it'll work.
Can I use my USB-C to Lightning cable? I have the simpler Apple adapter you show, but I don't have a USB-C to USB-A cable at the moment to use it, but I do have a USB-C to Lightning cable.
Huh, thought I had responded to you, but apparently not. I have a video dropping on the 30th trying to use the USB-C to Lightning cable that Apple makes, and unfortunately, it does not work :/
@@aquietgarden It's possible that a third party makes one that would work, but I am not aware of any right now... maybe some day a viewer will post something that does though :)
@@brawndothethirstmutilator9848 I'm not sure why that is simpler, especially as I don't have one. I have a dual 1/4 inch to single stereo 3.5mm cable which I use with my SP-404 MkII so I could connect that to my iPhone with my Apple Lightning to 3.5mm audio cable adapter.
@@NearTao ah sorry maybe I should've been a bit clearer. I think what you're doing there is routing the SP through the iPad FX (which is amazing actually!) I was talking about the iPad playing through the FX on the SP404, is that possible? aside from that is it also possible to midi sync the SP404 and Koala sample on the iPad for example? this probably doesn't matter but Im using lightning to usb adapter too, no usb C on my iPad unfortunately 😫
Found a powered usb hub that has usb-c plug for power connection that will connect to power bank also.

Just use lighting to dual 1/4 inch jack. Simpler.

You can get portable power by sp404 powered by my volts connector to power bank and lightning connection to power bank for ipad charging.
Usb on sp404 is only for data not power
you can power the SP404 mk2 with USB power. I've got plenty of videos powering the SP404 mk2 from an iPad alone.
Wow sorry volume is really low, can hardly hear your voice.
I wish TH-cam would have a handy way to increase/normalize the volume on uploaded videos :/. Maybe some other day *sigh*
