I am *so hype* for this 😍
Bernadette have you posted an image of the Worth Lilly dress? Are there more than one gown/dress with that name? Thank you for your videos.
Oooh I got started with historical dress videos on TH-cam with your channel, and now Angela and Cathy Jay's videos are recommended to me! I just came from a marathon of your lady Sherlock playlist too.
Thanks for introducing me to this wonderful world of costuming~
I'm here for this comradery :)
I so would pay for a collab with my 2 fav historical garment making youtubers!!!!!!!
Hi Bernadette
Worth peacock gowns for everyone!! This is crazy and wonderful and you're a rock star! I love it!
Cathy Hay - When I saw the title I thought that she had somehow figured out how to make your dress in under a year!
@@AdelaideBeemanWhite yeah same!
I IMMEDIATELY knew you'd be here for support
I was thinking this was another version of the one you’ve been working on. I was surprised to find another Worth Peacock gown, so fun.
@@merindymorgenson3184 Same
"I watch Bob Ross, I have confidence." True words.
Friendly neighborhood art teacher here. Acrylic paint was probably the best choice you could have made for this project. Oil paint will slowly eat away at fabric over time unless you first cover that fabric with a ton of Acrylic gesso. You did great!
That makes me feel better! Thank you so much :D
Fantastic to know! I assume that any clothing i may want to paint on, say with acrylics, would have to stay unwashed forever? or was and expect the paint to go away..? [acrylics because this is what we bought as a set with a canvas and 3 brushes (to randomly paint for relaxation, we are not painters, so we have no idea)]
@@sapphirecamui6447 Actually, you can wash acrylic painted clothes if you mix the paint with fabric medium first (can be found at any craft store) and heat set the paint afterwards with an iron. It might still start to fade and wash off over time, but it won't crack or flake off.
Will the paint stay on the fabric though [it didnt seep into the fabric, which could have given it some flexibility]? There seems to be A LOT of paint ... which means it is a [relatively] thick layer and thus rather prone to breaking up and crumbling away. Once that starts somewhere it wont stop ...
@@Muck006 I think that since the skirt sits so far away from the body and won't be moving very much with it, it probably doesn't need to be that flexible. In a large, structured skirt, it probably won't crack for a long time
I am very confused by the cherubs as a design choice. What did that consultation look like?
Some Rich Lady: Mr. Worth, I need a fancy dress outfit.
Worth: Of course, Madam. Did you have a theme in mind?
SRL: I want to go as a peacock.
Worth: Oh yes, that would look wonderful. We could make a train out of peacock feathers to resemble the birds tail.
SRL: And I want to go as an Italian Renaissance church ceiling.
Worth: What?
SRL: Obviously the two themes work seamlessly with each other.
And I want to go as an Italian Renaissance church ceiling
Yes I dont like the chrubs they are like a kids book illustration. I think she was just copying an original design
LOL!!! Next thing would be
SRL: "I think you got the eye color wrong and I need a discount."
😂
Just cause you’re rich doesn’t mean you got taste. I feel like tattoo artists empathise with this feeling a lot
this was like watching bernadette banner but chaotic instead of calming. I loved every second of it!
Haha 😂 that's what I love about Angela, she is just 100% herself 😃❤️
High praise, indeed!
Angela: "I haven't used acrylic paint in 10 years or so..." *Paints on hella expensive fabric.*
Me: *Too afraid to use the paint I have lest I ruin one page of a cheap sketchbook*
Yeah, this helped me get out of that rut. I just did a color study with my neon acrylics after watching this. It feels good, especially with all of the quarantine stuff going on.
It didn't even look that good 😣
Yay!! So glad you did that!
@@BenjaminBox but at least she tried?? Better to actually try and fail then never even attempt it.
I’m right there with you “but this canvas cost me $5 what if i screw it up” lol 😂
And here I am doing whatever I want with my canvases.
As a seamstress by trade, and a painter by choice, I can 100% say I would have gotten the anxiety sweats even thinking about painting cherubs onto a pattern piece. I commend you SO HARD for diving into that head on. I would have sat on that for a good 3 weeks thinking about how to tackle that haha :) It looks amazing so far, your attention to detail is unparalleled.
Thank you so much! I totally get what you mean - that was a big part of why I dove in without investing too much time into practicing (I did three practice cherubs on poly satin off camera, the day prior...which all came out better than the final ones, go figure). If I waited too long I would have been to intimidated to try it!
okay weird question but what is it like being a seamstress? Do you recommend it?
@@pauline1809 What's it like sewing something? It's a lot of fun. When you know what you are doing, and how to troubleshoot something, it's really amazing. That evolves into little highs like a drug addict, like when you make a pattern from scratch and all the seams match up perfectly, or the fit is spot on, to finding the perfect fabric, the texture and color etc. It takes years of hard work to get to that point, but once you know it like the back of your hand, it's just fun. That said, much like Angela, I'd have to say I like sewing for myself 20 times more than sewing for other people. I tend to be a little more relaxed when I have to trim a 1/2 off something because something didn't line up, but for someone else, I would probably take it apart and start over. It gets stressful. So to answer your question, it isn't for everyone. But if you like to do it just because, then you should do it :)
@@MeeschaMouseArt No what's it like as a job :)
@@pauline1809 Depends. If you work in alterations you specialize in one thing, if you work as a tailor you specialize in another. I did alterations and it wasn't my favorite but if you find your niche' it's fun. 9 times out of 10 though if you are sewing for a job, you aren't sewing what you want to be sewing in my experience. I'm just a home sewer now. I do it for fun for myself.
I am an artist by profession. The struggles you described with the acrylic are real. It’s disadvantage of quick dry inhibits workability but there are mediums that can be added to extend dry time so you have more time to play. They even have clear mediums so you can add more transparent layers to your work. You did very well with the materials you had I would have worked in sections as well it yields better results when blending, but you figured it out on you own. Working smaller I find harder than larger you have to try harder to get the shadows right in my opinion. Also cherubs are brothers not twins getting identical results is one to the hardest things to do as an artist. I paint Mardi Gras floats and every float has two main sides. They never look 100% identical. SO YOU GO GIRL.
I paint as a hobbyist, and I absolutely LOATH acrylics. I like to say they're the worst of both worlds- they dry too fast to be blended like oils, but can't be erased or watered down quite like water colors.
I've done stenciling/painting on fabrics before and generally the recommendation is to add fabric medium to the acrylic paint so that it becomes more flexible and not so stiff on the fabric so that it can drape with the fabric more easily. I've heard that acrylic paint can crack on fabrics if not mixed with the fabric medium due to the difference in the materials' flexibility although I've never tried it without the fabric medium so I'm not actually sure. The fabric medium definitely waters it down so that the acrylic paint isn't as thick which could present a problem if you're looking for more color pay off. It also takes more time to dry so it could be beneficial in that regard (for blending and such) but would definitely increase the turnaround for a project like this. I also don't always use the ratio that the fabric medium suggests and go with the consistency that I feel would work best depending on the project. I figured I'd share in case anyone was interested in trying this method.
Acrylic matte medium is honestly my savior. Otherwise I feel like I'm working with snot. It's so much cheaper than oil and I don't have to worry about the fumes.
Theatre chick here, popping in to give you a small tip if you ever find yourself needing to paint fabric with acrylic paint again! There's a product called "Textile Medium" that you blend into acrylic paints to make them slightly flexible and lighter weight, so they act more like screen printing paint and less like, well, art paint. It's fairly easy to find (the stuff I use I found at either Joann's or Michael's with the little tubes of craft paint). A few drops is all you need depending on the heaviness of your paints, so a single bottle can go a long way.
She's actually recreating Charles Frederick Worth's peacock gown commissioned to him be Empress Eugenie. She's not recreating the project by Cathy Hay, which was made by Jean-Philippe Worth, who was Charles' son for Lady Mary Curzon.
Yeah, kind of odd people can't tell the difference
What I dont get is all the people who think Cathy has been working on her peacock gown for 10 years.
No..... no she hasnt.
That dress is just one of the simply repeatable yet customizable patterns that are made unique and amazing by fabric choices and embellishments.
It didnt take him 10 years or even 1 year to make. Though it was made out of very expensive bead and wing work fabric made in India.
It's not THAT complicated.
@@louisacapell I wish I could understand what is that all about, cause till this video I had no clue about these people and this dress
I love how every Costuber has their Holy Grail Worth gown. It makes me so happy to see everyone making the gowns that they so adore!!
I think they should hold a worth ball that doesn't care about decades
A lot of cosplayers and costumers have a pet Worth or, if youre like me, have multiple pet Worths. Choosing a dress for a ball would be a difficulty since I love a lot of Worth gowns that are super simple yet so elegant and meticulous in the design.
„A lot of stars to fuse on“
Oh dear, I feel you. A friend of mine and me are doing the Empress Elisabeth Star Gown (one for each of us).... and it‘s about 1500 stars per dress. rip.
Oh my god that must look amazing though! That dress is fabulous and I love that you and your friend are doing it at the same time!
Angela Clayton We are doing it as a collaboration, as we agreed that we‘d go crazy if we had to do it alone xD We split the tasks between us and it‘s been such a relief! You can check them out @EmpressCosplay or @kessui_cosplay on Instagram xD
She did TWO Star Gowns all by herself !?
@@des-astre no, we are working together and dividing the work between us. It's easier to not go nuts that way xD
oh god, i've looked at your gowns and now i want to make one for myself
If you paint with acrylic again I would recommend a retarder medium to mix into your paint! It will thin the paint but also SLOWS down drying making blending easier without needing to wait as long as oil.
Also don't worry too much about not knowing how to paint cherubs, renaissance and medieval artists are notorious for not knowing how to paint babies, seriously they look like tiny buff men, so really you're at least just as good as them
And a fabric medium for flexibility
Yeah medieval babies are hilariously bad
I absolutely agree with you about the fish tank idea being a stroke of genius. You deserve every single iota of pride you felt over that.
Always suspected that these artists are so good at what they do because, not only are they talented, but also extremely intelligent.
Ok need to go get a fish tank now and confuse my daughter all to hell...yay!
I would LOVE to see a version of this with a sunset color theme and instead of cherubs, a moon and sun on each side!
That would look incredible! I love the idea!
Honestly, I probably would have just wimped out and done the cherubs as printable iron-ons of someone else's art. Hats off to you for much more creativity and determination than I have. 👍
i'd have wimped out by painting them on separate pieces of cloth to be ironed on with glue-bead paper, and hope that the added dimension blended in with the star patches. i got secondhand nervewrack watching her paint them directly on the fabric
I would have made a practice cherub
those cherubs are AMAZING.
and here's the weird thing, JakCosplay on youtube made a peacock headdress as part of a wig for a contest one year, and she filmed it. i feel like it might give you a place to start for the structure at least?
No the wierd thing is that 3 youtubers did/are doing a peacock dress.
Cathy hay (with bernadette banner and others helping to get the embroidery done within cathy hays lifetime) s doing the HEAVILY embroidered wlWorth dress used in a ball in india.
She is doing this much less complicated but equally beutiful Worth dress.
And a third in india took time last year to do the disney peacock dress (which may be loosly inspired by the Worth dresses and oversimplified) this one is completed and beautiful in comparison to disney but pales in comparison to both the Worth dresses.
I’ve had several similar experiences at mood (I thought they may have been having a bad day so I went back again). After how I was treated on my honeymoon I decided never again. Don’t feel like you’re being stubborn, you deserve better service with your talent. Keep up the great work!
Aw that sucks, I'm sorry to hear that! And on your honeymoon of all things :( I think the workers are just hardened by dealing with wannabe designer college students all day, which I totally understand. But there are SO many shops in the garment district that I would rather support that have much nicer and more accommodating staff!
This is where my embroidery machine would have "painted" all of the angels for me :3
Historic accuracy? Weight?
Good idea tho.
Cathy Hay mentioned this, so I am in awe! It was incredibly brave of you to push past your fear!
I remember trying to cut out a pattern, using very expensive fabric. I had it all pinned and ready to go, and just sat for 5 minutes, scissors in hand, thinking do I want to cut this. Very nerve wracking, but once I started, it became easier.
This dress screams classic Grecian Hera. Peacocks were her favored creature. It's gorgeous thus far.
For the gauzy overlay, might I suggest using two types of fabric? You could layer silk chiffon and tulle for a fanciful effect, but the tulle will help give it body and fluff 🙂
I really like that idea! I feel like the overlay is almost supposed to represent clouds too, using a fabric to give it body and another to give it texture is a great idea! :)
Your motherly pride for the cherubs made my day.
its hard to get used to the fact that gowns from this era werent really washed anyway, so you could put darn near anything you wanted on em
Oh my GOODNESS!!!! YOU PAINTED BABIES ON A DRESS!!!!!!!!!! that's so creative and amazing!!!!! You are a genius and this is beautiful!!!
Madame, when on her livestream Cathy Hay said, "Everyone go watch Angela Clayton's video where she's recreating a Worth Peacock dress!" That is just the highest complement one could hope for.
I mean, of course I was going to watch anyway, but I thought it was extremely sweet.
The dress looks *amazing* so far, and I can't wait for your next installment!
Cathy hay is just a woman. Shes just a very very good seamstress and costumer who promised a museum a replica and flaked and now shes been dangling one of thousands of dresses in front of newbies and novices for years.
I love when you go outside your comfort level because not only do we see your creativity, but you show us your mistakes and how you work through them. Your skirt is gorgeous, the stars are magical and yes the cherub butt is weird but cute...it's perfect. Well done!
I love how your personality comes out in this video. The part about the cherub's butt shading had me in tears from laughter. You are so skilled and I can't wait to see the rest of this ensemble. Thank you for sharing your process!
Wow, a truly amazing job, Angela. I have a feeling Charles Worth would have been proud to see you recreating his masterpiece so many years later. Can't wait to watch the progression of this dress!
Your cherubs look great for someone who hasn't painted in so long. Also, it's coming out lovely so far!
That worked out very good. The cherubs look sweet. A lot of the ones i have seen painted in Europe look even more " cartoon" like than your cherubs. At least you didn't have to try painting the extra creepy floating head cherubs on a set of wings. What were they thinking back then is all i can think of when seeing those head on wings children.
I absolutely love your cherubs. They are perhaps my most favourite piece of this dress thus far. It's not perfect and that is what makes them so visually appealing.
Madam that light box solution was genius! I had to give you a happy round of applause!
I have been watching your progress over the years . You are truly an amazing talent.
I live on Long Island and am a civil war living historian and re-enactor . Some of the clothing I have purchased over the years are less than well , less. Your work and dedication is to be acknowledged.
By the by check out The Needle and Thread Gettysburg Pa on your next hut for fabric. They specialize in period prints.
I really love how your commentary has developed. I've been watching for years and you've always been very expressive and great at explaning your process but lately I get a lot more of a sense of your personality and passion through your commentary. It makes your videos even more enjoyable to watch!
Oh my goodness! This was absolutely amazing! everything just came together so beautifully, and with each embellishment complementing each other! I have to say that you're such an amazing artist😄 stay healthy and stay safe💚
Thank you so much! I was really pleased with how the design seemed more cohesive the more I added to it...that doesn't always happen! I hope you stay healthy and safe too.
I think that you did an amazing job of painting the cherubs especially when you aren't comfortable or practiced in painting. You are also extremely brave for taking the leap and painting them yourself instead of trying to find an artist or student artist to do it for you, not to mention the stress you endured knowing the cost it would incur if you made a mistake that you couldn't fix.
👏👏👏👏👏very well done! Always follow your dreams when ever possible, and never let fear of the unknown hold you back.
I hear Worth gowns are hard to replicate....not to mention expensive to make!😂🤗 You are so fun to watch! Keep up the Great Work!
I've been watching you for years, and I don't think I will ever get over the absolute speed at which you move simple seams through your machine. I've been sewing for like 25+ years and I still feel nervous going any faster than the middle speed my machine can go (I also miss having a presser foot, because at least then when I started to get Speed Anxiety I just... pressed less.) YOU'RE SO POWERFUL.
I love EVERYTHING about this
The cherubim drama
The expansive fabric

I can't tell if I love the skirt or your voiceover more, I laughed until I cried and was amazed by the skirt at the same time
I love how much whimsy you added to the skirt with the multisized Stars!
I understand absolutely nothing about sewing but I’ve been obsessed with watching your videos. This is amazing.
This is breathtakingly beautiful. Your light box idea was pure genius! I cannot wait to see the next video in the series. Thanks for sharing your incredible talent. You’re very inspirational.
This was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. And your sense of humor throughout killed me.
Love to see you construct the peacock headress. I am making the red dress from mirror mirror and was totally lost how to make the headdress that goes with it. Love this dress you are making, you are very talented. Thanks for sharing
Never in my life, have I felt more like something was my aesthetic. You created lightning in a bottle! 👏🏽🎉🥂🎉👏🏽
Oh man, I just love this dress. It's so beautiful!
The encouragement of my historical sewing faves is everything. I’m new here but love this community.
Light boxes are fantastic! My dad gave me one for Christmas a few years ago, and at the time, I wasn't sure if I would use it. But it's been VERY helpful with sewing projects. This looks amazing!
I'm so glad I decided to rewatch your videos because your sense of humor and sarcasm always get me through a slow afternoon at work.
This is amazing!!! Can’t wait to see the rest of the dress being made.
The year of Worth gowns making of vidseos, hip hip hooray! Excited to see it come together because the skirt is gooorgeous
Good call on the fish tank light box! I have an end table with a glass top which has stuck with me through many moves and changes in furniture, precisely for the purpose.
I'd love to see the rest of the dress! It'll look beautiful. It's a shame channels like this never get recognition. You and a lot of other talented people who make dresses like this work really hard and deserve the recognition
so wait..... there's TWO Worth peacock dress?!?!?!?
this seems to be called the peacock gown, and the other one is the peacock dress? what? why not just call this one cherub gown or something
I think there are even MORE - the book says it was a commonly revisited theme - just no surviving examples of them!
As for the title - I'm just calling it what the fashion plate is labeled as. The cherubs were the focus of this video but the project will have 500+ peacock feathers on it before it's finished, so I think it's earned that name :)
@@AngelaClaytonCostumery even more? how many different dresses did this guy manage to do in his life jesus (this wasn't meant as an attack against you by the way, just against whoever named the dresses, no organizing skills at all;-)
beautiful dress as always Angela!
Maybe change the title to "a" rather than "the." In this community when you say the worth peacock dress it means something very specific.
@@rosenrot9544 Since there were more than 23,000 Worth dress designs donated to a museum in the 50s (and those were just the surviving designs, I imagine there were thousands more), and peacock feathers were a common theme, I'm sure there are quite a few others out there!
The fish tank light box was genius! You should be proud of that. Also your cherub butts, be proud of your cherub butts.

P.S. The staff at Dharma is super friendly.
Lynda Yoder thank you so much I needed 12 meters for my last project
Honestly, that light box idea is great! The fish tank is big enough to not cause you a huge backache and gives you a perfect surface to draw on!
I feel ya about Mood. They were super rude to me and I've never loved the quality of thier fabric. I've bought a lot of knit that fades quickly and that's not cool for the amount of money it costs
Can I just say that I love you for many reasons but one is your humility. You are so transparent regarding your perceived mistakes and shortcomings. I appreciate your honesty! That being said, your end products are always amazing! I cannot wait to see the rest of this project!
This video is awesome and hysterical and so incredibly relatable!
I wanted to take a moment and tell you how gifted you are. The knowledge of fabric and the art of crafting patterns is a true gift with you. I am overjoyed to have found your channel. I see great things in your future. Way to go!! Keep it coming!!!
Wonderful project, Angela! That gown is quite whimsical!! :)
I’m going to cry this is the most beautiful dress ever

WOW! Brave, brave girl. I was surprised about the flat-lining. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REST!! Stay well! You are Fabulous!!!
You had me laughing out loud so many times with you commentary. To many to quote. But thank you for this enjoyable video in this time of social distancing an self isolation
I love your commentary throughout the video
Omg, you are so funny. This is my favorite video to date. The dress looks amazing BTW. I wish I had hour talent.
I would proudly rock a comfy sweatshirt with an image of those cherubs.
Love the look so far. Probably going to scream in excitement when you add the feathers.
Love this, but only came to the comments to see if I was alone in wanting and anime and dogs dress.
Replace cherubs with chibi Sailors... :D
For as messy as the process looked, those cherubs came out pretty dang good! I'm glad you're proud of them. They're worthy of pride. And that fabric is glorious! I can't wait to see the rest of this come together!
Wow!! Take a bow that is amazing!! Really no one has anything to criticize it is an amazing creation the painting is lovely. Truly beautiful. You may see things that you would have rather turned out differently but the rest of us just are in awe of your creativity.

The fish tank/ light box idea was brilliant!!
“Cherubs look kind of demonic”
... it’s... it’s a baby angel
Edit: OH MY GOSH THAT SKIRT IS BEAUTIFUL
Remember that biblically, demons are just fallen angels. So there's overlap, haha!
2020 is indeed going to be the year of C F Worth! 🙌🏻❤️
With everything happening at the moment we need this.
This is beautiful, sometimes you're way too hard on yourself !!
I love the color and the ombre of the fabric. So pretty!!
In the beginning of your Video I thought "where did she bought that fabric??" To it didnt looked, like you made it yourself. And after seeing the progress how you made it, I loved it even more.
I also assumed she somehow bought fabric with pre-painted cherubs. I'm beyond impressed that she just painted them on!
Watching you make this skirt is truly inspirational. All of us nervous Nellies at home hovering over our white sketchbook pages with a sharp pencil and nearby eraser can learn a lesson from your gung ho enthusiasm to have a go. Whether the cherubs and clouds are ‘good’ or not is completely irrelevant. They are fantastic.
When I saw the title, I thought you were trying to make other “peacock dress” but the thumbnail didn’t match. It like Recreating Worth gowns/dresses is kinda becoming popular in the TH-cam dress making community
maybe its a certain cathy, whose worth gown of choice makes everything else seem like a manageable challenge to take on
It’s mostly because the worth gowns are probably the most documented ones so we have even a clue how to pull it off!
Worth gowns are popular for multiple reasons: a) they are ridiculously gorgeous b) because they were special event dresses and worn infrequently, and then carefully treated, we have a lot of extant garments which makes them extra addictive- you can actually see originals to feed your passion! I think, as you said because worth recreations are popular, that is giving more people the courage to have a go at making them, which is wonderful for armchair dressmakers like me!
@@Crosshill that one is also a very manageable task to take on. It's a simple repeatable pattern it was just made out of expensive Indian embroidery is all.
@@louisacapell i think i meant that maybe it being super mad expensive and time consuming made it a more daunting task, but yeah we're getting close to her drafting the muslin i think, she talked a bit about how worth sped up the process by having very reusable pattern pieces so the construction was fairly straightforward
Absolutely beautiful ... I see nothing but beautiful cherubs, so don’t demean your talent! You have a gift.
Angela: Making a peacock dress, enjoy my 30 minute video!
Cathy: am I joke to you??
⭐️ You’re really right about the varying sizes of stars making it more magical, it gives it a bit more dimension and visual impact 🌟
Were the cherubs painted or embroidered in the original? Also amazing art despite how you think of it.
I would say they would have been stretched and painted on very thin silk ...a la silk scarf method, with silk paints, then backed with white or beige fabric and then sewn on a la applique ... at least that's how they usually are done in couture, or at least were before laser printing etc coming available.
They’re adoooorable!
I’ve just finished my first oil painting, which includes a baby. And I’ve felt the "well, how can we make this not look like a demon baby?" all too well. For context, I’m a semi-experienced artist, tried my hand at every medium out there. It took me over 40 hours, spread over 2 months. Which includes drying time. Acrylics were your best choice.
If you ever decide to do something like this again, perhaps it’s an option to first paint it on another, less expensive fabric, cut that out and then sew it on. A little less pressure, hopefully.
Omg, that title, I was like there is no way. Closest thing to clickbait I've ever seen on these sewing channels lol
Angela I think it is gorgeous...and I think your cherubs came out great.....love your work.
I got really excited because I thought you were referring to this Worth peacock dress: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/17/Mary_Leiter%2C_Lady_Curzon%2C_wearing_a_1903_gown_by_Jean-Philippe_Worth_-_William_Logsdail_1909_portrait.jpg
However, the fashion plate is stunning and I'm so glad you're making it! :D Can't wait to see the next parts!
(If you're ever interested in making Lady Curzon's peacock dress though, I would absolutely love to watch!!)
I think Cathy and Bernadette have that design covered! I'll stick to this more theatrical and ridiculous version lol

@@os4021 multiple people are allowed to create the same thing. Cathy Hays attempt to recreate the gown doesnt mean she has sole rights to the Worth gown.
In fact, the more people who remake these works of art the more people will know and be inspired to either create their own, recreate the art, or make it in their own style.
I Finegan you must not have seen Cathy expressing support to anyone who wanted to make their own version of the peacock dress...
I enjoy watching you challenge yourself, solving problems, and coming up with a beautiful result. This one is fabulous!
It’s perfect, you made it beautifully. I’m just wondering why Worth would put such a design with peacock feathers. To me it looks like 2 dressed cut and sewn together.
Maybe it's some sort of Juno costume? (hence the 'heavens' )
I love the clouds, can't wait to see the peacock feather part of the over skirt!
Is it possible to get a tax write off on the fabric you used because its for a business/work?
Yes, most self-employed artists (incl TH-camrs) can count any materials they buy as businesses expenses.
Li “Um I reviewed this new house on my TH-cam channel, so this is a business expense”
That is an AMAZING skirt! I love the painting and the stars and the colors and all of it! JUST BEAUTIFUL!
