    We bought this also and it is the most efficient vacuum sealer combo. I’m 76 and w3ve had at least 4 different vacuum machines, none measure up to this one. BTW, guess what? We have the same Espresso machine that is on your counter, love it.

    I’m guessing the charging port is a micro-USB Who still uses micro-USB in 2021? 5 years ago I swore to never buy another product that that used micro-USB and only support USB-C.
    Since you helpfully mentioned the app, is this useful? Is it compatible with anything, like the Samsung smart fridge? If I put something in a vacuum container and go through the trouble of adding it to the app, would my wife see it on her phone? Otherwise it’s pretty useless.
    Do the containers actually keep the vacuum for a week?
    Do any dry ingredients benefit from this?
    Is there any that don’t benefit?
    Can you store bread in the container or does pulling a vacuum cause the bread to collapse?
    Can you use it to keep half a bag of chips crispy or will they get soft?

    • @AngiesTable
      @AngiesTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is! I don’t mind it too much because my charging ports at home have a USB port or you can use your iPhone charger too.
      To be honest, I don’t use the app too much but I think it’s its own thing so it’s not compatible with companies like Samsung or LG.
      If she also has the same app and is under the same account, she would see it too.
      The containers do keep the vacuum for a week.
      Dry ingredients shouldn’t be any different and other ingredients shouldn’t be different.
      I haven’t used it for bread since I start to freeze mine once it’s been out for a couple days. If you use a big enough container and not the ziploc bag, you shouldn’t run into the problem of collapsing.
      I haven’t tried chips yet but I don’t see why it shouldn’t work! My chips stay crispy for a couple days as long as I close the bag and clip it with a chip clip. So zwilling it up should have the same concept!

      IKR! Not having usb-c is almost a deal-breaker, but I don't see any other options unfortunately so I might go with this one.

    Could you tell us how to open the bag or the container after they are sealed?

    • @AngiesTable
      @AngiesTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry forgot to mention that!! Yeah, for the bags, you just open it up like you would any ziplock bag from the seal. With the containers, you just take out the gray seal that’s at the top and the lid comes right off.

    Thx for your video. I bought a set from Costco as well n started to using it a few days ago to store the cut veggies.
    After I put it into the fridge (I know temp difference causes condensation), I found that there’s quite a bit of condensation inside the glass container. Does it mean that it’s not airtight enough? Does anyone have the same issue? Thanks in advance! :)

    • @AngiesTable
      @AngiesTable  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes!! It does that sometimes but it can be due to multiple reasons as you stated above! It’s also probably because your veggies or fruits are still wet and not fully dry. If you check out our fridge organization video, I show how I started to store foods so they last a long time! I started to place a paper towel under every container and switch out the paper towel twice a week and it should solve your problem!!

    Have you tried this with other vacuum sealer bags out there to see which are compatible? They're quite a bit more expensive than the Waring Pro commercial bags and I'm wondering if this would work with them.

    • @AngiesTable
      @AngiesTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not! I actually haven't even thought about it. These are on the expensive side but I'll try to do some research to see if it'll work because that would be a great alternative.

    • @AngiesTable

      I went on to amazon and read some of the reviews for Zwilling and some of the top questions were if they were compatible with other brands of ziploc bags. One of the answers from the customer was that they tried 2 different brands of bags and it worked with the zwilling sealer. I can't attest for it since I haven't tried it myself, but just wanted to let you know that it may work!

      @@AngiesTable over the years we’ve had Decosonic (20 years ago, cheap product) we’ve had FoodSaver, they broke down, we e had Weston, very noisy. I’m going to Post your video on Facebook to let my friends know how good this product is. The sealer is relatively cheap but the bags not as much. We use them a lot. We now have 80 large bags and 30 small ones, don’t ask me how much I spent because I don’t care. We save so much more in the long run. Keep up the good work.
