    Hi guys! We were stuck at home during the winter snow storm in Chicago on Dec. 22, 2022. It really wasn't that bad where I live though haha. I cooked up Korean food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to warm up my soul, so come check out what I ate!
    BREAKFAST
    Banana Matcha Latte
    Ingredients:
    3 Tbsp of Seein Matcha Powder
    1 pouch banana milk
    Directions:
    Mix the 2 ingredients together.
    LUNCH
    Rice Cake Dumpling Soup
    Ingredients:
    1 serving of rice cake
    Water, to taste
    1 tablet of anvhovy stock
    1/2 tsp garlic, minced
    Salt, to taste
    Green onions, chopped
    Dumpings
    1 egg
    Directions:
    1. Have 1 serving of rice cake submerged in water.
    2. Boil water, at least 500 mL, and add 1 tablet of anchovy stock with 1/2 tsp garlic, minced.
    3. Once that comes to a boil, add in dumplings since they're thicker. Add in salt, to taste.
    4. Drain rice cake, and add it in to the pot.
    5. Beat 1 egg and also add it to the pot in a circular motion.
    6. Top it off with green onions and black pepper.
    DINNER
    Kimchi Stew
    Ingredients:
    Kimchi, to taste
    1 strip pork belly
    At least 1/2 Cup of kimchi juice
    1/2 Cup rice water
    1/2 tsp minced garlic
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1/2 tofu
    1/2 onion, sliced
    Green onions, chopped
    Directions:
    1. Cut 1 strip of pork belly into bite size pieces.
    2. In a pot, add a small amount of olive oil and cook the pork belly until fully cooked.
    3. Add in cut kimchi and saute everything together.
    4. Then add in rice water, kimchi juice, minced garlic, and sugar. Cover lid and cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
    5. Add in onions and more water if needed.
    6. Next, add tofu and green onions and cook for about 5-10 minutes longer.
    7. Serve with rice!
