Norris had a great mind for knowledge. There was nothing that man didn’t know, especially when Roy Castle use to put him too the test.
Okay you didn’t find his headstone but you found a very peaceful resting place. More importantly keeping a memory alive by telling his story. Happy TV days for me. ❤

Hey Paul, sorry you couldn’t locate this time around. I’ve lived in London, Kent, Sussex, Ireland and Aachen in Germany. Aachen has an amazing cemetery there called West Friedhof that’s exactly 1000 Metres to the Border with The Netherlands. A wealthy English family of industrialists called The Cockerill family are buried here. Their final resting place is certainly grand. Also several Unknown Soviet graves here too. Only 3:15 minutes away on a Eurostar via Belgium!!

Jeez, i didn’t know his brother was murdered. My partner & I always contacted the churchnor the council who are usually very helpful. There is a church inbetween where I live & where she lives, we knew a woman had been murdered in 1887 in that area & were sure shecwas buried in that church, I contacted them, the person who looks after the grounds had done a lot of work finding out information about each grave, he showed us exactly where her UNMARKED graves was. Always wirth a phone call/email. Nothing to lose.
That how we found out the information on the internet about the Crossroads actor's/married couple Ronald Allan & Sue Lloyd was wrong, listed as burried in Reading but are not.
Perhaps his grave stone can't be read.

    Hi Paul,
Thank you for sharing another church and cemetery tour.
Something becoming noticeable with each video is the declining condition of English churches.
Is this perhaps reflecting a greater issue of parishioners abandoning attending regular services slowing or seriously reducing funding.
Despite not concluding with the unveiling of the final resting place, it still felt complete, perhaps in some strange way another record to be logged in there famous book.
    Nice.

Quite the opposite to the search for George Formby's grave. I can remember when Ross McWhirter was murdered (yes, I'm that old). The BBC showed the last episode of Record Breakers that was recorded before his death. Norris McWhirter certainly had an interesting and varied life.
