That’s a huge collection of watercolors. 🤯 I would definitely give away or donate anything that you are sure you don’t love 💕 using anymore. There’s no need or reason to keep it if you’re not going to use it up. It’s a great way to help spark creativity for someone else who might be interested in painting or for school children to use! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful collection. You have lots of brands that are new to me to check out!
thank you colleen 🥰 and yes, i definitely plan on donating probably more than just the ones i asked about in here. many people tend to donate to kids already so im aiming to donate to the elderly arts center.
Thank you for taking the time to share your collection here on TH-cam! As always, I really enjoy your videos. Re: “novelty” watercolors, or items you don’t/won’t use…You mentioned considering donating…What about donating to an art-specific place? Just this week, I was trying to do chaos control in my studio, and I decided to donate a lot of screenprinting ink I never use and student-grade canvases (“I’ll use them one day…” Well, I haven’t after like 5 years, sooo….😅) to a local community art center. In the summer, they hold classes for kids. They told me they are always looking for art supplies for their classes. Maybe you have a similar place close to you where you could donate those items? I have given away art materials in the past to regular thrift stores, but it really felt good this time to give these art-specific materials to an art-specific place like this, because I knew they would have a great “second” life and maybe help bring joy to kids learning about art.
thank you erika! yes i absolutely agree~ i’ve actually previously donated to an art space for the elderly so i will probably donate to such a place again. many tend to donate to kids and schools like urself but many also tend to forget about old people :)
@@PaintinHidingOh my gosh, that is wonderful!! I didn’t even know they had things like that (art spaces specifically for the elderly). Next time I have art stuff that needs to be re-homed, I’ll see if we have something for the elderly near where we live!
Stunning collection. Thank you for sharing ❤. I was hoping you were a kuretake fan. I’m looking for someone with advice on how to clean their empty pans because they have glue on them and I would love to use them. But the glue is sticky but won’t come out. 😢 Any chance you’ve heard of this?
thank you paulina 🥰 hmm, i use this product called Stay Clean multipurpose cleaner to clean glue and tape residue. not sure if that’s a thai-specific brand though. another one i use that is more heavy duty and corrosive is what’s called adhesive remover spray. I use Scotch but I think 3M also has a similar product. hope that helps
thank you stacey 😊 i wouldn’t pay more than $15 USD for the student sennelier paints. off the top of my head, i’d say maybe 7-8 out of the 12 colours i got in the set were alright. the other 4 were either weak or hard to rewet.
@@PaintinHiding Thank you for the info! In Greece it costs 23€ so I probably won't buy it. Better to buy 3-4 professional Sennelier tubes than that set haha
wow… thank you for all you do to help us make decisions. I’m just the opposite… On a tight budget, I can only get a bit at a time so I need to be vvv decisive. Do you have links to online stores in Thailand ( with English communication) that I maybe able to find open stock, especially Mission Gold which I cant get in Malaysia. 🙏🏻
unfortunately i dont know which stores offer English communication. for mission gold, check out Cwart. just google Cwart Thailand and it should be the first link.
i agree! sure i’d want some money back but the things i’d donate are like… people would rather just buy new anyway so it’d be more of a hassle to try and sell. glad we agree ❤ i hope you’re well! 🥰🥰
I'm mad my watercolor tin pallete 2 are rusty because I saw an artist using nail file block to remove the bead paint effect that I hate and now they started to became rusty and the other one that I have some brain and not filed has 3 lines in the painting tin and starting to get rusty and collecting some kind of dust under the half pan tray , I don't want to buy some new palletes, maybe I will buy some plastic in the future. I wish ceramic trays is more cheap but here they are expensive . I'm from the team to wish all palletes have a lead plastic or ceramic to not colect dust or dog fur when you pause or not paint or avoid flies. I stop show the mug brush because they love pause and poop in the bristle when you not seeing!!! Cool collection !!! You guard in shelf or boxes? I think weird that I comment more when you don't speak and fault you were a man , i don't know why I thought this!!!! I hope you parents and art relationshp is getting better with the time. I have to lead with yellow mold in my poor celulose paper. Did you have to lead with mold? I loved your cam holding cube but in reais is way expensive even If I bought in aliexpress or shopee , I like that is compact. One video you can explain what kind of material and the value comparing a regular minium payment? I always try to comparing with my country , It is so contranting some video hauls to my currency , I know art materials are more expensive but some people don't understand how better materials are more accessible in some countries than others . I'm not critic you, I like your channel and videos. Hugs from Brasil!!!
thank you so much! 🥰 i’ll admit i dont completely understand but to answer your question… i keep my palettes in both plastic drawers as well as paper boxes under the bed. 👍🏻 and for yellow mold on paper, i’ve only had that happen when i kept paper for over 10 years. i just throw it away because the sizing expired too.
Hi👋 I would like to know if how much is mijello in Thailand (open stock)? It's hard to buy them open stock here in the Philippines. The price range of mijello here in the Philippines is comparable to Daniel Smith, M Graham, and Schmincke. Even expensive than Holbein. Most of the art stores here in the Philippines stopped restocking individual mijello tubes and it's hard to get specific tubes. So, I bought them from a seller in Korea even though it's expensive because it's one of the main color I usually use in my palette 😭 If ever you're donating some of your artist grade watercolor tubes, I'd like to have some if it's alright with you. I can pay for the shipping fee🙏
hi reena :) i can't put links here otherwise youtube will delete my reply. so for mijello prices, search on google DG Arts Thailand, and the first website should be the correct one. once you're at the website, click on Product, Mijello, Watercolor. you can find the prices for all the series there. as for donating, unfortunately i wont be donating my artist grade watercolour tubes any time soon. i was mainly referring to donating the subpackage and junk stuff.

Selling donating unused art supplies is always a good strategy. There is no point in keeping something that you know you won’t use.
agreed! i think im gonna wait til i finish filming my Regrets video and then i’ll do a mid-year donation 👍🏻
